LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Êxodo 14 Lucas 18  Jó 33 LEITURA  4º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Êxodo 14 1 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: 2 Fala aos filhos de Israel que retrocedam e se acampem defronte de Pi-Hairote, entre Migdol e o mar, diante de Baal-Zefom; em frente dele vos acampareis junto ao mar. 3 Então, Faraó dirá dos filhos de Israel: Estão desorientados na terra, o deserto os encerrou. 4 Endurecerei o coração de Faraó, para que os persiga, e serei glorificado em Faraó e em todo o seu exército; e saberão os egípcios que eu sou o SENHOR. Eles assim o fizeram. 5 Sendo, pois, anunciado ao rei do Egito que o povo fugia, mudou-se o coração de Faraó e dos seus oficiais contra o povo, e disseram: Que é isto que fizemos, permitindo que Israel nos deixasse de servir? 6 E aprontou Faraó o seu carro e tomou consigo o seu povo; 7 e tomou também seiscentos carros escolhidos e todos os carros do Egito com capitães sobre todos eles. 8 Porque o SENHOR endureceu o coração de Faraó, rei do Egito, para que perseguisse os filhos de Israel; porém os filhos de Israel saíram afoitamente. 9 Perseguiram-nos os egípcios, todos os cavalos e carros de Faraó, e os seus cavalarianos, e o seu exército e os alcançaram acampados junto ao mar, perto de Pi-Hairote, defronte de Baal-Zefom. 10 E, chegando Faraó, os filhos de Israel levantaram os olhos, e eis que os egípcios vinham atrás deles, e temeram muito; então, os filhos de Israel clamaram ao SENHOR. 11 Disseram a Moisés: Será, por não haver sepulcros no Egito, que nos tiraste de lá, para que morramos neste deserto? Por que nos trataste assim, fazendo-nos sair do Egito? 12 Não é isso o que te dissemos no Egito: deixa-nos, para que sirvamos os egípcios? Pois melhor nos fora servir aos egípcios do que morrermos no deserto. 13 Moisés, porém, respondeu ao povo: Não temais; aquietai-vos e vede o livramento do SENHOR que, hoje, vos fará; porque os egípcios, que hoje vedes, nunca mais os tornareis a ver. 14 O SENHOR pelejará por vós, e vós vos calareis. 15 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Por que clamas a mim? Dize aos filhos de Israel que marchem. 16 E tu, levanta o teu bordão, estende a mão sobre o mar e divide-o, para que os filhos de Israel passem pelo meio do mar em seco. 17 Eis que endurecerei o coração dos egípcios, para que vos sigam e entrem nele; serei glorificado em Faraó e em todo o seu exército, nos seus carros e nos seus cavalarianos; 18 e os egípcios saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando for glorificado em Faraó, nos seus carros e nos seus cavalarianos. 19 Então, o Anjo de Deus, que ia adiante do exército de Israel, se retirou e passou para trás deles; também a coluna de nuvem se retirou de diante deles, e se pôs atrás deles, 20 e ia entre o campo dos egípcios e o campo de Israel; a nuvem era escuridade para aqueles e para este esclarecia a noite; de maneira que, em toda a noite, este e aqueles não puderam aproximar-se. 21 Então, Moisés estendeu a mão sobre o mar, e o SENHOR, por um forte vento oriental que soprou toda aquela noite, fez retirar-se o mar, que se tornou terra seca, e as águas foram divididas. 22 Os filhos de Israel entraram pelo meio do mar em seco; e as águas lhes foram qual muro à sua direita e à sua esquerda. 23 Os egípcios que os perseguiam entraram atrás deles, todos os cavalos de Faraó, os seus carros e os seus cavalarianos, até ao meio do mar. 24 Na vigília da manhã, o SENHOR, na coluna de fogo e de nuvem, viu o acampamento dos egípcios e alvorotou o acampamento dos egípcios; 25 emperrou-lhes as rodas dos carros e fê-los andar dificultosamente. Então, disseram os egípcios: Fujamos da presença de Israel, porque o SENHOR peleja por eles contra os egípcios. 26 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Estende a mão sobre o mar, para que as águas se voltem sobre os egípcios, sobre os seus carros e sobre os seus cavalarianos. 27 Então, Moisés estendeu a mão sobre o mar, e o mar, ao romper da manhã, retomou a sua força; os egípcios, ao fugirem, foram de encontro a ele, e o SENHOR derribou os egípcios no meio do mar. 28 E, voltando as águas, cobriram os carros e os cavalarianos de todo o exército de Faraó, que os haviam seguido no mar; nem ainda um deles ficou. 29 Mas os filhos de Israel caminhavam a pé enxuto pelo meio do mar; e as águas lhes eram quais muros, à sua direita e à sua esquerda. 30 Assim, o SENHOR livrou Israel, naquele dia, da mão dos egípcios; e Israel viu os egípcios mortos na praia do mar. 31 E viu Israel o grande poder que o SENHOR exercitara contra os egípcios; e o povo temeu ao SENHOR e confiou no SENHOR e em Moisés, seu servo. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  14 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. 3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in. 4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord. And they did so. 5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? 6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him: 7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. 8 And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. 9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon. 10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord. 11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. 13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. 15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. 17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. 19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: 20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night. 21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, 25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians. 26 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. 27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. 28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. 29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. 30 Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. 31 And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Lucas 18 1 Disse-lhes Jesus uma parábola sobre o dever de orar sempre e nunca esmorecer: 2 Havia em certa cidade um juiz que não temia a Deus, nem respeitava homem algum. 3 Havia também, naquela mesma cidade, uma viúva que vinha ter com ele, dizendo: Julga a minha causa contra o meu adversário. 4 Ele, por algum tempo, não a quis atender; mas, depois, disse consigo: Bem que eu não temo a Deus, nem respeito a homem algum; 5 todavia, como esta viúva me importuna, julgarei a sua causa, para não suceder que, por fim, venha a molestar-me. 6 Então, disse o Senhor: Considerai no que diz este juiz iníquo. 7 Não fará Deus justiça aos seus escolhidos, que a ele clamam dia e noite, embora pareça demorado em defendê-los? 8 Digo-vos que, depressa, lhes fará justiça. Contudo, quando vier o Filho do Homem, achará, porventura, fé na terra? 9 Propôs também esta parábola a alguns que confiavam em si mesmos, por se considerarem justos, e desprezavam os outros: 10 Dois homens subiram ao templo com o propósito de orar: um, fariseu, e o outro, publicano. 11 O fariseu, posto em pé, orava de si para si mesmo, desta forma: Ó Deus, graças te dou porque não sou como os demais homens, roubadores, injustos e adúlteros, nem ainda como este publicano; 12 jejuo duas vezes por semana e dou o dízimo de tudo quanto ganho. 13 O publicano, estando em pé, longe, não ousava nem ainda levantar os olhos ao céu, mas batia no peito, dizendo: Ó Deus, sê propício a mim, pecador! 14 Digo-vos que este desceu justificado para sua casa, e não aquele; porque todo o que se exalta será humilhado; mas o que se humilha será exaltado. 15 Traziam-lhe também as crianças, para que as tocasse; e os discípulos, vendo, os repreendiam. 16 Jesus, porém, chamando-as para junto de si, ordenou: Deixai vir a mim os pequeninos e não os embaraceis, porque dos tais é o reino de Deus. 17 Em verdade vos digo: Quem não receber o reino de Deus como uma criança de maneira alguma entrará nele. 18 Certo homem de posição perguntou-lhe: Bom Mestre, que farei para herdar a vida eterna? 19 Respondeu-lhe Jesus: Por que me chamas bom? Ninguém é bom, senão um, que é Deus. 20 Sabes os mandamentos: Não adulterarás, não matarás, não furtarás, não dirás falso testemunho, honra a teu pai e a tua mãe. 21 Replicou ele: Tudo isso tenho observado desde a minha juventude. 22 Ouvindo-o Jesus, disse-lhe: Uma coisa ainda te falta: vende tudo o que tens, dá-o aos pobres e terás um tesouro nos céus; depois, vem e segue-me. 23 Mas, ouvindo ele estas palavras, ficou muito triste, porque era riquíssimo. 24 E Jesus, vendo-o assim triste, disse: Quão dificilmente entrarão no reino de Deus os que têm riquezas! 25 Porque é mais fácil passar um camelo pelo fundo de uma agulha do que entrar um rico no reino de Deus. 26 E os que ouviram disseram: Sendo assim, quem pode ser salvo? 27 Mas ele respondeu: Os impossíveis dos homens são possíveis para Deus. 28 E disse Pedro: Eis que nós deixamos nossa casa e te seguimos. 29 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: Em verdade vos digo que ninguém há que tenha deixado casa, ou mulher, ou irmãos, ou pais, ou filhos, por causa do reino de Deus, 30 que não receba, no presente, muitas vezes mais e, no mundo por vir, a vida eterna. 31 Tomando consigo os doze, disse-lhes Jesus: Eis que subimos para Jerusalém, e vai cumprir-se ali tudo quanto está escrito por intermédio dos profetas, no tocante ao Filho do Homem; 32 pois será ele entregue aos gentios, escarnecido, ultrajado e cuspido; 33 e, depois de o açoitarem, tirar-lhe-ão a vida; mas, ao terceiro dia, ressuscitará. 34 Eles, porém, nada compreenderam acerca destas coisas; e o sentido destas palavras era-lhes encoberto, de sorte que não percebiam o que ele dizia. 35 Aconteceu que, ao aproximar-se ele de Jericó, estava um cego assentado à beira do caminho, pedindo esmolas. 36 E, ouvindo o tropel da multidão que passava, perguntou o que era aquilo. 37 Anunciaram-lhe que passava Jesus, o Nazareno. 38 Então, ele clamou: Jesus, Filho de Davi, tem compaixão de mim! 39 E os que iam na frente o repreendiam para que se calasse; ele, porém, cada vez gritava mais: Filho de Davi, tem misericórdia de mim! 40 Então, parou Jesus e mandou que lho trouxessem. E, tendo ele chegado, perguntou-lhe: 41 Que queres que eu te faça? Respondeu ele: Senhor, que eu torne a ver. 42 Então, Jesus lhe disse: Recupera a tua vista; a tua fé te salvou. 43 Imediatamente, tornou a ver e seguia-o glorificando a Deus. Também todo o povo, vendo isto, dava louvores a Deus. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  18 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? 9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. 15 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. 18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? 27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. 28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. 29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. 31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. 32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: 33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. 34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. 35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. 37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. 39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. 40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jó 33 1 Ouve, pois, Jó, as minhas razões e dá ouvidos a todas as minhas palavras. 2 Passo agora a falar, em minha boca fala a língua. 3 As minhas razões provam a sinceridade do meu coração, e os meus lábios proferem o puro saber. 4 O Espírito de Deus me fez, e o sopro do Todo-Poderoso me dá vida. 5 Se podes, contesta-me, dispõe bem as tuas razões perante mim e apresenta-te. 6 Eis que diante de Deus sou como tu és; também eu sou formado do barro. 7 Por isso, não te inspiro terror, nem será pesada sobre ti a minha mão. 8 Na verdade, falaste perante mim, e eu ouvi o som das tuas palavras: 9 Estou limpo, sem transgressão; puro sou e não tenho iniqüidade. 10 Eis que Deus procura pretextos contra mim e me considera como seu inimigo. 11 Põe no tronco os meus pés e observa todas as minhas veredas. 12 Nisto não tens razão, eu te respondo; porque Deus é maior do que o homem. 13 Por que contendes com ele, afirmando que não te dá contas de nenhum dos seus atos? 14 Pelo contrário, Deus fala de um modo, sim, de dois modos, mas o homem não atenta para isso. 15 Em sonho ou em visão de noite, quando cai sono profundo sobre os homens, quando adormecem na cama, 16 então, lhes abre os ouvidos e lhes sela a sua instrução, 17 para apartar o homem do seu desígnio e livrá-lo da soberba; 18 para guardar a sua alma da cova e a sua vida de passar pela espada. 19 Também no seu leito é castigado com dores, com incessante contenda nos seus ossos; 20 de modo que a sua vida abomina o pão, e a sua alma, a comida apetecível. 21 A sua carne, que se via, agora desaparece, e os seus ossos, que não se viam, agora se descobrem. 22 A sua alma se vai chegando à cova, e a sua vida, aos portadores da morte. 23 Se com ele houver um anjo intercessor, um dos milhares, para declarar ao homem o que lhe convém, 24 então, Deus terá misericórdia dele e dirá ao anjo: Redime-o, para que não desça à cova; achei resgate. 25 Sua carne se robustecerá com o vigor da sua infância, e ele tornará aos dias da sua juventude. 26 Deveras orará a Deus, que lhe será propício; ele, com júbilo, verá a face de Deus, e este lhe restituirá a sua justiça. 27 Cantará diante dos homens e dirá: Pequei, perverti o direito e não fui punido segundo merecia. 28 Deus redimiu a minha alma de ir para a cova; e a minha vida verá a luz. 29 Eis que tudo isto é obra de Deus, duas e três vezes para com o homem, 30 para reconduzir da cova a sua alma e o alumiar com a luz dos viventes. 31 Escuta, pois, ó Jó, ouve-me; cala-te, e eu falarei. 32 Se tens alguma coisa que dizer, responde-me; fala, porque desejo justificar-te. 33 Se não, escuta-me; cala-te, e ensinar-te-ei a sabedoria. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  33 Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words. 2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth. 3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly. 4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. 5 If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up. 6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay. 7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee. 8 Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying, 9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me. 10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy, 11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths. 12 Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man. 13 Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters. 14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; 16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, 17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. 18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword. 19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain: 20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat. 21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out. 22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers. 23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: 24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. 25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth: 26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. 27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not; 28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. 29 Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, 30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living. 31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak. 32 If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee. 33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
