LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Êxodo 32 João 12  Provérbios 9 LEITURA  22º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Êxodo 32 1 Mas, vendo o povo que Moisés tardava em descer do monte, acercou-se de Arão e lhe disse: Levanta-te, faze-nos deuses que vão adiante de nós; pois, quanto a este Moisés, o homem que nos tirou do Egito, não sabemos o que lhe terá sucedido. 2 Disse-lhes Arão: Tirai as argolas de ouro das orelhas de vossas mulheres, vossos filhos e vossas filhas e trazei-mas. 3 Então, todo o povo tirou das orelhas as argolas e as trouxe a Arão. 4 Este, recebendo-as das suas mãos, trabalhou o ouro com buril e fez dele um bezerro fundido. Então, disseram: São estes, ó Israel, os teus deuses, que te tiraram da terra do Egito. 5 Arão, vendo isso, edificou um altar diante dele e, apregoando, disse: Amanhã, será festa ao SENHOR. 6 No dia seguinte, madrugaram, e ofereceram holocaustos, e trouxeram ofertas pacíficas; e o povo assentou-se para comer e beber e levantou-se para divertir-se. 7 Então, disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Vai, desce; porque o teu povo, que fizeste sair do Egito, se corrompeu 8 e depressa se desviou do caminho que lhe havia eu ordenado; fez para si um bezerro fundido, e o adorou, e lhe sacrificou, e diz: São estes, ó Israel, os teus deuses, que te tiraram da terra do Egito. 9 Disse mais o SENHOR a Moisés: Tenho visto este povo, e eis que é povo de dura cerviz. 10 Agora, pois, deixa-me, para que se acenda contra eles o meu furor, e eu os consuma; e de ti farei uma grande nação. 11 Porém Moisés suplicou ao SENHOR, seu Deus, e disse: Por que se acende, SENHOR, a tua ira contra o teu povo, que tiraste da terra do Egito com grande fortaleza e poderosa mão? 12 Por que hão de dizer os egípcios: Com maus intentos os tirou, para matá-los nos montes e para consumi-los da face da terra? Torna-te do furor da tua ira e arrepende-te deste mal contra o teu povo. 13 Lembra-te de Abraão, de Isaque e de Israel, teus servos, aos quais por ti mesmo tens jurado e lhes disseste: Multiplicarei a vossa descendência como as estrelas do céu, e toda esta terra de que tenho falado, dá-la-ei à vossa descendência, para que a possuam por herança eternamente. 14 Então, se arrependeu o SENHOR do mal que dissera havia de fazer ao povo. 15 E, voltando-se, desceu Moisés do monte com as duas tábuas do Testemunho nas mãos, tábuas escritas de ambos os lados; de um e de outro lado estavam escritas. 16 As tábuas eram obra de Deus; também a escritura era a mesma escritura de Deus, esculpida nas tábuas. 17 Ouvindo Josué a voz do povo que gritava, disse a Moisés: Há alarido de guerra no arraial. 18 Respondeu-lhe Moisés: Não é alarido dos vencedores nem alarido dos vencidos, mas alarido dos que cantam é o que ouço. 19 Logo que se aproximou do arraial, viu ele o bezerro e as danças; então, acendendo-se-lhe a ira, arrojou das mãos as tábuas e quebrou-as ao pé do monte; 20 e, pegando no bezerro que tinham feito, queimou-o, e o reduziu a pó, que espalhou sobre a água, e deu de beber aos filhos de Israel. 21 Depois, perguntou Moisés a Arão: Que te fez este povo, que trouxeste sobre ele tamanho pecado? 22 Respondeu-lhe Arão: Não se acenda a ira do meu senhor; tu sabes que o povo é propenso para o mal. 23 Pois me disseram: Faze-nos deuses que vão adiante de nós; pois, quanto a este Moisés, o homem que nos tirou da terra do Egito, não sabemos o que lhe terá acontecido. 24 Então, eu lhes disse: quem tem ouro, tire-o. Deram-mo; e eu o lancei no fogo, e saiu este bezerro. 25 Vendo Moisés que o povo estava desenfreado, pois Arão o deixara à solta para vergonha no meio dos seus inimigos, 26 pôs-se em pé à entrada do arraial e disse: Quem é do SENHOR venha até mim. Então, se ajuntaram a ele todos os filhos de Levi, 27 aos quais disse: Assim diz o SENHOR, o Deus de Israel: Cada um cinja a espada sobre o lado, passai e tornai a passar pelo arraial de porta em porta, e mate cada um a seu irmão, cada um, a seu amigo, e cada um, a seu vizinho. 28 E fizeram os filhos de Levi segundo a palavra de Moisés; e caíram do povo, naquele dia, uns três mil homens. 29 Pois Moisés dissera: Consagrai-vos, hoje, ao SENHOR; cada um contra o seu filho e contra o seu irmão, para que ele vos conceda, hoje, bênção. 30 No dia seguinte, disse Moisés ao povo: Vós cometestes grande pecado; agora, porém, subirei ao SENHOR e, porventura, farei propiciação pelo vosso pecado. 31 Tornou Moisés ao SENHOR e disse: Ora, o povo cometeu grande pecado, fazendo para si deuses de ouro. 32 Agora, pois, perdoa-lhe o pecado; ou, se não, risca-me, peço-te, do livro que escreveste. 33 Então, disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Riscarei do meu livro todo aquele que pecar contra mim. 34 Vai, pois, agora, e conduze o povo para onde te disse; eis que o meu Anjo irá adiante de ti; porém, no dia da minha visitação, vingarei, neles, o seu pecado. 35 Feriu, pois, o SENHOR ao povo, porque fizeram o bezerro que Arão fabricara. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  32 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. 2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. 3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. 4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord. 6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. 7 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: 8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 9 And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: 10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. 11 And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? 12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. 13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever. 14 And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. 15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. 16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables. 17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. 18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. 19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount. 20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it. 21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? 22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief. 23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. 24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf. 25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) 26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. 27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. 28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. 29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the Lord, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day. 30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the Lord; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. 31 And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. 32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. 33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. 34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them. 35 And the Lord plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  João 12 1 Seis dias antes da Páscoa, foi Jesus para Betânia, onde estava Lázaro, a quem ele ressuscitara dentre os mortos. 2 Deram-lhe, pois, ali, uma ceia; Marta servia, sendo Lázaro um dos que estavam com ele à mesa. 3 Então, Maria, tomando uma libra de bálsamo de nardo puro, mui precioso, ungiu os pés de Jesus e os enxugou com os seus cabelos; e encheu-se toda a casa com o perfume do bálsamo. 4 Mas Judas Iscariotes, um dos seus discípulos, o que estava para traí-lo, disse: 5 Por que não se vendeu este perfume por trezentos denários e não se deu aos pobres? 6 Isto disse ele, não porque tivesse cuidado dos pobres; mas porque era ladrão e, tendo a bolsa, tirava o que nela se lançava. 7 Jesus, entretanto, disse: Deixa-a! Que ela guarde isto para o dia em que me embalsamarem; 8 porque os pobres, sempre os tendes convosco, mas a mim nem sempre me tendes. 9 Soube numerosa multidão dos judeus que Jesus estava ali, e lá foram não só por causa dele, mas também para verem Lázaro, a quem ele ressuscitara dentre os mortos. 10 Mas os principais sacerdotes resolveram matar também Lázaro; 11 porque muitos dos judeus, por causa dele, voltavam crendo em Jesus. 12 No dia seguinte, a numerosa multidão que viera à festa, tendo ouvido que Jesus estava de caminho para Jerusalém, 13 tomou ramos de palmeiras e saiu ao seu encontro, clamando: Hosana! Bendito o que vem em nome do Senhor e que é Rei de Israel! 14 E Jesus, tendo conseguido um jumentinho, montou-o, segundo está escrito: 15 Não temas, filha de Sião, eis que o teu Rei aí vem, montado em um filho de jumenta. 16 Seus discípulos a princípio não compreenderam isto; quando, porém, Jesus foi glorificado, então, eles se lembraram de que estas coisas estavam escritas a respeito dele e também de que isso lhe fizeram. 17 Dava, pois, testemunho disto a multidão que estivera com ele, quando chamara a Lázaro do túmulo e o levantara dentre os mortos. 18 Por causa disso, também, a multidão lhe saiu ao encontro, pois ouviu que ele fizera este sinal. 19 De sorte que os fariseus disseram entre si: Vede que nada aproveitais! Eis aí vai o mundo após ele. 20 Ora, entre os que subiram para adorar durante a festa, havia alguns gregos; 21 estes, pois, se dirigiram a Filipe, que era de Betsaida da Galiléia, e lhe rogaram: Senhor, queremos ver Jesus. 22 Filipe foi dizê-lo a André, e André e Filipe o comunicaram a Jesus. 23 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: É chegada a hora de ser glorificado o Filho do Homem. 24 Em verdade, em verdade vos digo: se o grão de trigo, caindo na terra, não morrer, fica ele só; mas, se morrer, produz muito fruto. 25 Quem ama a sua vida perde-a; mas aquele que odeia a sua vida neste mundo preservá-la-á para a vida eterna. 26 Se alguém me serve, siga-me, e, onde eu estou, ali estará também o meu servo. E, se alguém me servir, o Pai o honrará. 27 Agora, está angustiada a minha alma, e que direi eu? Pai, salva-me desta hora? Mas precisamente com este propósito vim para esta hora. 28 Pai, glorifica o teu nome. Então, veio uma voz do céu: Eu já o glorifiquei e ainda o glorificarei. 29 A multidão, pois, que ali estava, tendo ouvido a voz, dizia ter havido um trovão. Outros diziam: Foi um anjo que lhe falou. 30 Então, explicou Jesus: Não foi por mim que veio esta voz, e sim por vossa causa. 31 Chegou o momento de ser julgado este mundo, e agora o seu príncipe será expulso. 32 E eu, quando for levantado da terra, atrairei todos a mim mesmo. 33 Isto dizia, significando de que gênero de morte estava para morrer. 34 Replicou-lhe, pois, a multidão: Nós temos ouvido da lei que o Cristo permanece para sempre, e como dizes tu ser necessário que o Filho do Homem seja levantado? Quem é esse Filho do Homem? 35 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: Ainda por um pouco a luz está convosco. Andai enquanto tendes a luz, para que as trevas não vos apanhem; e quem anda nas trevas não sabe para onde vai. 36 Enquanto tendes a luz, crede na luz, para que vos torneis filhos da luz. Jesus disse estas coisas e, retirando-se, ocultou-se deles. 37 E, embora tivesse feito tantos sinais na sua presença, não creram nele, 38 para se cumprir a palavra do profeta Isaías, que diz: Senhor, quem creu em nossa pregação? E a quem foi revelado o braço do Senhor? 39 Por isso, não podiam crer, porque Isaías disse ainda: 40 Cegou-lhes os olhos e endureceu-lhes o coração, para que não vejam com os olhos, nem entendam com o coração, e se convertam, e sejam por mim curados. 41 Isto disse Isaías porque viu a glória dele e falou a seu respeito. 42 Contudo, muitos dentre as próprias autoridades creram nele, mas, por causa dos fariseus, não o confessavam, para não serem expulsos da sinagoga; 43 porque amaram mais a glória dos homens do que a glória de Deus. 44 E Jesus clamou, dizendo: Quem crê em mim crê, não em mim, mas naquele que me enviou. 45 E quem me vê a mim vê aquele que me enviou. 46 Eu vim como luz para o mundo, a fim de que todo aquele que crê em mim não permaneça nas trevas. 47 Se alguém ouvir as minhas palavras e não as guardar, eu não o julgo; porque eu não vim para julgar o mundo, e sim para salvá-lo. 48 Quem me rejeita e não recebe as minhas palavras tem quem o julgue; a própria palavra que tenho proferido, essa o julgará no último dia. 49 Porque eu não tenho falado por mim mesmo, mas o Pai, que me enviou, esse me tem prescrito o que dizer e o que anunciar. 50 E sei que o seu mandamento é a vida eterna. As coisas, pois, que eu falo, como o Pai mo tem dito, assim falo. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  12 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. 3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, 5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. 7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. 8 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. 9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. 10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; 11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. 12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. 14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, 15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. 16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him. 17 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. 18 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. 19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him. 20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: 21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. 22 Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. 23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. 27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. 30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 33 This he said, signifying what death he should die. 34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? 35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. 37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? 39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. 42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. 44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Provérbios 9 1 A Sabedoria edificou a sua casa, lavrou as suas sete colunas. 2 Carneou os seus animais, misturou o seu vinho e arrumou a sua mesa. 3 Já deu ordens às suas criadas e, assim, convida desde as alturas da cidade: 4 Quem é simples, volte-se para aqui. Aos faltos de senso diz: 5 Vinde, comei do meu pão e bebei do vinho que misturei. 6 Deixai os insensatos e vivei; andai pelo caminho do entendimento. 7 O que repreende o escarnecedor traz afronta sobre si; e o que censura o perverso a si mesmo se injuria. 8 Não repreendas o escarnecedor, para que te não aborreça; repreende o sábio, e ele te amará. 9 Dá instrução ao sábio, e ele se fará mais sábio ainda; ensina ao justo, e ele crescerá em prudência. 10 O temor do SENHOR é o princípio da sabedoria, e o conhecimento do Santo é prudência. 11 Porque por mim se multiplicam os teus dias, e anos de vida se te acrescentarão. 12 Se és sábio, para ti mesmo o és; se és escarnecedor, tu só o suportarás. 13 A loucura é mulher apaixonada, é ignorante e não sabe coisa alguma. 14 Assenta-se à porta de sua casa, nas alturas da cidade, toma uma cadeira, 15 para dizer aos que passam e seguem direito o seu caminho: 16 Quem é simples, volte-se para aqui. E aos faltos de senso diz: 17 As águas roubadas são doces, e o pão comido às ocultas é agradável. 18 Eles, porém, não sabem que ali estão os mortos, que os seus convidados estão nas profundezas do inferno. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  9 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: 2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. 3 She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city, 4 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, 5 Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. 6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. 7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot. 8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. 9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. 12 If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it. 13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing. 14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, 15 To call passengers who go right on their ways: 16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, 17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. 18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
