Deuteronômio 31
1 Passou Moisés a falar estas palavras a todo o Israel
2 e disse-lhes: Sou, hoje, da idade de cento e vinte anos. Já não posso sair e entrar, e o SENHOR me disse: Não passarás o Jordão.
3 O SENHOR, teu Deus, passará adiante de ti; ele destruirá estas nações de diante de ti, e tu as possuirás; Josué passará adiante de ti, como o SENHOR tem dito.
4 O SENHOR lhes fará como fez a Seom e a Ogue, reis dos amorreus, os quais destruiu, bem como a sua terra.
5 Quando, pois, o SENHOR vos entregar estes povos diante de vós, então, com eles fareis segundo todo o mandamento que vos tenho ordenado.
6 Sede fortes e corajosos, não temais, nem vos atemorizeis diante deles, porque o SENHOR, vosso Deus, é quem vai convosco; não vos deixará, nem vos desamparará.
7 Chamou Moisés a Josué e lhe disse na presença de todo o Israel: Sê forte e corajoso; porque, com este povo, entrarás na terra que o SENHOR, sob juramento, prometeu dar a teus pais; e tu os farás herdá-la.
8 O SENHOR é quem vai adiante de ti; ele será contigo, não te deixará, nem te desamparará; não temas, nem te atemorizes.
9 Esta lei, escreveu-a Moisés e a deu aos sacerdotes, filhos de Levi, que levavam a arca da Aliança do SENHOR, e a todos os anciãos de Israel.
10 Ordenou-lhes Moisés, dizendo: Ao fim de cada sete anos, precisamente no ano da remissão, na Festa dos Tabernáculos,
11 quando todo o Israel vier a comparecer perante o SENHOR, teu Deus, no lugar que este escolher, lerás esta lei diante de todo o Israel.
12 Ajuntai o povo, os homens, as mulheres, os meninos e o estrangeiro que está dentro da vossa cidade, para que ouçam, e aprendam, e temam o SENHOR, vosso Deus, e cuidem de cumprir todas as palavras desta lei;
13 para que seus filhos que não a souberem ouçam e aprendam a temer o SENHOR, vosso Deus, todos os dias que viverdes sobre a terra à qual ides, passando o Jordão, para a possuir.
14 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Eis que os teus dias são chegados, para que morras; chama Josué, e apresentai-vos na tenda da congregação, para que eu lhe dê ordens. Assim, foram Moisés e Josué e se apresentaram na tenda da congregação.
15 Então, o SENHOR apareceu, ali, na coluna de nuvem, a qual se deteve sobre a porta da tenda.
16 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Eis que estás para dormir com teus pais; e este povo se levantará, e se prostituirá, indo após deuses estranhos na terra para cujo meio vai, e me deixará, e anulará a aliança que fiz com ele.
17 Nesse dia, a minha ira se acenderá contra ele; desampará-lo-ei e dele esconderei o rosto, para que seja devorado; e tantos males e angústias o alcançarão, que dirá naquele dia: Não nos alcançaram estes males por não estar o nosso Deus no meio de nós?
18 Esconderei, pois, certamente, o rosto naquele dia, por todo o mal que tiverem feito, por se haverem tornado a outros deuses.
19 Escrevei para vós outros este cântico e ensinai-o aos filhos de Israel; ponde-o na sua boca, para que este cântico me seja por testemunha contra os filhos de Israel.
20 Quando eu tiver introduzido o meu povo na terra que mana leite e mel, a qual, sob juramento, prometi a seus pais, e, tendo ele comido, e se fartado, e engordado, e houver tornado a outros deuses, e os houver servido, e me irritado, e anulado a minha aliança;
21 e, quando o tiverem alcançado muitos males e angústias, então, este cântico responderá contra ele por testemunha, pois a sua descendência, sempre, o trará na boca; porquanto conheço os desígnios que, hoje, estão formulando, antes que o introduza na terra que, sob juramento, prometi.
22 Assim, Moisés, naquele mesmo dia, escreveu este cântico e o ensinou aos filhos de Israel.
23 Ordenou o SENHOR a Josué, filho de Num, e disse: Sê forte e corajoso, porque tu introduzirás os filhos de Israel na terra que, sob juramento, lhes prometi; e eu serei contigo.
24 Tendo Moisés acabado de escrever, integralmente, as palavras desta lei num livro,
25 deu ordem aos levitas que levavam a arca da Aliança do SENHOR, dizendo:
26 Tomai este Livro da Lei e ponde-o ao lado da arca da Aliança do SENHOR, vosso Deus, para que ali esteja por testemunha contra ti.
27 Porque conheço a tua rebeldia e a tua dura cerviz. Pois, se, vivendo eu, ainda hoje, convosco, sois rebeldes contra o SENHOR, quanto mais depois da minha morte?
28 Ajuntai perante mim todos os anciãos das vossas tribos e vossos oficiais, para que eu fale aos seus ouvidos estas palavras e contra eles, por testemunhas, tomarei os céus e a terra.
29 Porque sei que, depois da minha morte, por certo, procedereis corruptamente e vos desviareis do caminho que vos tenho ordenado; então, este mal vos alcançará nos últimos dias, porque fareis mal perante o SENHOR, provocando-o à ira com as obras das vossas mãos.
30 Então, Moisés pronunciou, integralmente, as palavras deste cântico aos ouvidos de toda a congregação de Israel:
31 And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel. 2 And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the Lord hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan. 3 The Lord thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath said. 4 And the Lord shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed. 5 And the Lord shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you. 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the Lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it. 8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. 9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and unto all the elders of Israel. 10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, 11 When all Israel is come to appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. 12 Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: 13 And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the Lord your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it. 14 And the Lord said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation. 15 And the Lord appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle. 16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. 17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? 18 And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods. 19 Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. 20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant. 21 And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware. 22 Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel. 23 And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee. 24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, 25 That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying, 26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. 27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the Lord; and how much more after my death? 28 Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. 29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. 30 And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.

97 Quanto amo a tua lei! É a minha meditação, todo o dia!
98 Os teus mandamentos me fazem mais sábio que os meus inimigos; porque, aqueles, eu os tenho sempre comigo.
99 Compreendo mais do que todos os meus mestres, porque medito nos teus testemunhos.
100 Sou mais prudente que os idosos, porque guardo os teus preceitos.
101 De todo mau caminho desvio os pés, para observar a tua palavra.
102 Não me aparto dos teus juízos, pois tu me ensinas.
103 Quão doces são as tuas palavras ao meu paladar! Mais que o mel à minha boca.
104 Por meio dos teus preceitos, consigo entendimento; por isso, detesto todo caminho de falsidade.
105 Lâmpada para os meus pés é a tua palavra e, luz para os meus caminhos.
106 Jurei e confirmei o juramento de guardar os teus retos juízos.
107 Estou aflitíssimo; vivifica-me, SENHOR, segundo a tua palavra.
108 Aceita, SENHOR, a espontânea oferenda dos meus lábios e ensina-me os teus juízos.
109 Estou de contínuo em perigo de vida; todavia, não me esqueço da tua lei.
110 Armam ciladas contra mim os ímpios; contudo, não me desvio dos teus preceitos.
111 Os teus testemunhos, recebi-os por legado perpétuo, porque me constituem o prazer do coração.
112 Induzo o coração a guardar os teus decretos, para sempre, até ao fim.
113 Aborreço a duplicidade, porém amo a tua lei.
114 Tu és o meu refúgio e o meu escudo; na tua palavra, eu espero.
115 Apartai-vos de mim, malfeitores; quero guardar os mandamentos do meu Deus.
116 Ampara-me, segundo a tua promessa, para que eu viva; não permitas que a minha esperança me envergonhe.
117 Sustenta-me, e serei salvo e sempre atentarei para os teus decretos.
118 Desprezas os que se desviam dos teus decretos, porque falsidade é a astúcia deles.
119 Rejeitas, como escória, todos os ímpios da terra; por isso, amo os teus testemunhos.
120 Arrepia-se-me a carne com temor de ti, e temo os teus juízos.
97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. 101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. 102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me. 103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. 106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments. 107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord, according unto thy word. 108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgments. 109 My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law. 110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts. 111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. 112 I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end. 113 I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love. 114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. 115 Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. 116 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. 117 Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually. 118 Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. 119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. 120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

Isaías 58
1 Clama a plenos pulmões, não te detenhas, ergue a voz como a trombeta e anuncia ao meu povo a sua transgressão e à casa de Jacó, os seus pecados.
2 Mesmo neste estado, ainda me procuram dia a dia, têm prazer em saber os meus caminhos; como povo que pratica a justiça e não deixa o direito do seu Deus, perguntam-me pelos direitos da justiça, têm prazer em se chegar a Deus,
3 dizendo: Por que jejuamos nós, e tu não atentas para isso? Por que afligimos a nossa alma, e tu não o levas em conta? Eis que, no dia em que jejuais, cuidais dos vossos próprios interesses e exigis que se faça todo o vosso trabalho.
4 Eis que jejuais para contendas e rixas e para ferirdes com punho iníquo; jejuando assim como hoje, não se fará ouvir a vossa voz no alto.
5 Seria este o jejum que escolhi, que o homem um dia aflija a sua alma, incline a sua cabeça como o junco e estenda debaixo de si pano de saco e cinza? Chamarias tu a isto jejum e dia aceitável ao SENHOR?
6 Porventura, não é este o jejum que escolhi: que soltes as ligaduras da impiedade, desfaças as ataduras da servidão, deixes livres os oprimidos e despedaces todo jugo?
7 Porventura, não é também que repartas o teu pão com o faminto, e recolhas em casa os pobres desabrigados, e, se vires o nu, o cubras, e não te escondas do teu semelhante?
8 Então, romperá a tua luz como a alva, a tua cura brotará sem detença, a tua justiça irá adiante de ti, e a glória do SENHOR será a tua retaguarda;
9 então, clamarás, e o SENHOR te responderá; gritarás por socorro, e ele dirá: Eis-me aqui. Se tirares do meio de ti o jugo, o dedo que ameaça, o falar injurioso;
10 se abrires a tua alma ao faminto e fartares a alma aflita, então, a tua luz nascerá nas trevas, e a tua escuridão será como o meio-dia.
11 O SENHOR te guiará continuamente, fartará a tua alma até em lugares áridos e fortificará os teus ossos; serás como um jardim regado e como um manancial cujas águas jamais faltam.
12 Os teus filhos edificarão as antigas ruínas; levantarás os fundamentos de muitas gerações e serás chamado reparador de brechas e restaurador de veredas para que o país se torne habitável.
13 Se desviares o pé de profanar o sábado e de cuidar dos teus próprios interesses no meu santo dia; se chamares ao sábado deleitoso e santo dia do SENHOR, digno de honra, e o honrares não seguindo os teus caminhos, não pretendendo fazer a tua própria vontade, nem falando palavras vãs,
14 então, te deleitarás no SENHOR. Eu te farei cavalgar sobre os altos da terra e te sustentarei com a herança de Jacó, teu pai, porque a boca do SENHOR o disse.
58 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. 2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God. 3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours. 4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high. 5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord? 6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward. 9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; 10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: 11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. 12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. 13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
