e nasceram-lhes filhos depois do dilúvio. 2 Os filhos de Jafé são: Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque e Tiras. 3 Os filhos de Gomer são: Asquenaz, Rifate e Togarma. 4 Os de Javã são: Elisá, Társis, Quitim e Dodanim. 5 Estes repartiram entre si as ilhas das nações nas suas terras, cada qual segundo a sua língua, segundo as suas famílias, em suas nações. 6 Os filhos de Cam: Cuxe, Mizraim, Pute e Canaã. 7 Os filhos de Cuxe: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá e Sabtecá; e os filhos de Raamá: Sabá e Dedã. 8 Cuxe gerou a Ninrode, o qual começou a ser poderoso na terra. 9 Foi valente caçador diante do SENHOR; daí dizer-se: Como Ninrode, poderoso caçador diante do SENHOR. 10 O princípio do seu reino foi Babel, Ereque, Acade e Calné, na terra de Sinar. 11 Daquela terra saiu ele para a Assíria e edificou Nínive, Reobote-Ir e Calá. 12 E, entre Nínive e Calá, a grande cidade de Resém. 13 Mizraim gerou a Ludim, a Anamim, a Leabim, a Naftuim, 14 a Patrusim, a Casluim (donde saíram os filisteus) e a Caftorim. 15 Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito, e a Hete, 16 e aos jebuseus, aos amorreus, aos girgaseus, 17 aos heveus, aos arqueus, aos sineus, 18 aos arvadeus, aos zemareus e aos hamateus; e depois se espalharam as famílias dos cananeus. 19 E o limite dos cananeus foi desde Sidom, indo para Gerar, até Gaza, indo para Sodoma, Gomorra, Admá e Zeboim, até Lasa. 20 São estes os filhos de Cam, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações. 21 A Sem, que foi pai de todos os filhos de Héber e irmão mais velho de Jafé, também lhe nasceram filhos. 22 Os filhos de Sem são: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude e Arã. 23 Os filhos de Arã: Uz, Hul, Geter e Más. 24 Arfaxade gerou a Salá; Salá gerou a Héber. 25 A Héber nasceram dois filhos: um teve por nome Pelegue, porquanto em seus dias se repartiu a terra; e o nome de seu irmão foi Joctã. 26 Joctã gerou a Almodá, a Selefe, a Hazar-Mavé, a Jerá, 27 a Hadorão, a Uzal, a Dicla, 28 a Obal, a Abimael, a Sabá, 29 a Ofir, a Havilá e a Jobabe; todos estes foram filhos de Joctã. 30 E habitaram desde Messa, indo para Sefar, montanha do Oriente. 31 São estes os filhos de Sem, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações. 32 São estas as famílias dos filhos de Noé, segundo as suas gerações, nas suas nações; e destes foram disseminadas as nações na terra, depois do dilúvio. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  10 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. 2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. 3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. 4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. 6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. 7 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. 8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord. 10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah, 12 And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city. 13 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, 14 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim. 15 And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth, 16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite, 17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite, 18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. 19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha. 20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations. 21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born. 22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram. 23 And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash. 24 And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber. 25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan. 26 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, 27 And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah, 28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, 29 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan. 30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east. 31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations. 32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Mateus 9 1 Entrando Jesus num barco, passou para o outro lado e foi para a sua própria cidade. 2 E eis que lhe trouxeram um paralítico deitado num leito. Vendo-lhes a fé, Jesus disse ao paralítico: Tem bom ânimo, filho; estão perdoados os teus pecados. 3 Mas alguns escribas diziam consigo: Este blasfema. 4 Jesus, porém, conhecendo-lhes os pensamentos, disse: Por que cogitais o mal no vosso coração? 5 Pois qual é mais fácil? Dizer: Estão perdoados os teus pecados, ou dizer: Levanta-te e anda? 6 Ora, para que saibais que o Filho do Homem tem sobre a terra autoridade para perdoar pecados – disse, então, ao paralítico: Levanta-te, toma o teu leito e vai para tua casa. 7 E, levantando-se, partiu para sua casa. 8 Vendo isto, as multidões, possuídas de temor, glorificaram a Deus, que dera tal autoridade aos homens. 9 Partindo Jesus dali, viu um homem chamado Mateus sentado na coletoria e disse-lhe: Segue-me! Ele se levantou e o seguiu. 10 E sucedeu que, estando ele em casa, à mesa, muitos publicanos e pecadores vieram e tomaram lugares com Jesus e seus discípulos. 11 Ora, vendo isto, os fariseus perguntavam aos discípulos: Por que come o vosso Mestre com os publicanos e pecadores? 12 Mas Jesus, ouvindo, disse: Os sãos não precisam de médico, e sim os doentes. 13 Ide, porém, e aprendei o que significa: Misericórdia quero e não holocaustos; pois não vim chamar justos, e sim pecadores [ao arrependimento]. 14 Vieram, depois, os discípulos de João e lhe perguntaram: Por que jejuamos nós, e os fariseus [muitas vezes], e teus discípulos não jejuam? 15 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: Podem, acaso, estar tristes os convidados para o casamento, enquanto o noivo está com eles? Dias virão, contudo, em que lhes será tirado o noivo, e nesses dias hão de jejuar. 16 Ninguém põe remendo de pano novo em veste velha; porque o remendo tira parte da veste, e fica maior a rotura. 17 Nem se põe vinho novo em odres velhos; do contrário, rompem-se os odres, derrama-se o vinho, e os odres se perdem. Mas põe-se vinho novo em odres novos, e ambos se conservam. 18 Enquanto estas coisas lhes dizia, eis que um chefe, aproximando-se, o adorou e disse: Minha filha faleceu agora mesmo; mas vem, impõe a mão sobre ela, e viverá. 19 E Jesus, levantando-se, o seguia, e também os seus discípulos. 20 E eis que uma mulher, que durante doze anos vinha padecendo de uma hemorragia, veio por trás dele e lhe tocou na orla da veste; 21 porque dizia consigo mesma: Se eu apenas lhe tocar a veste, ficarei curada. 22 E Jesus, voltando-se e vendo-a, disse: Tem bom ânimo, filha, a tua fé te salvou. E, desde aquele instante, a mulher ficou sã. 23 Tendo Jesus chegado à casa do chefe e vendo os tocadores de flauta e o povo em alvoroço, disse: 24 Retirai-vos, porque não está morta a menina, mas dorme. E riam-se dele. 25 Mas, afastado o povo, entrou Jesus, tomou a menina pela mão, e ela se levantou. 26 E a fama deste acontecimento correu por toda aquela terra. 27 Partindo Jesus dali, seguiram-no dois cegos, clamando: Tem compaixão de nós, Filho de Davi! 28 Tendo ele entrado em casa, aproximaram-se os cegos, e Jesus lhes perguntou: Credes que eu posso fazer isso? Responderam-lhe: Sim, Senhor! 29 Então, lhes tocou os olhos, dizendo: Faça-se-vos conforme a vossa fé. 30 E abriram-se-lhes os olhos. Jesus, porém, os advertiu severamente, dizendo: Acautelai-vos de que ninguém o saiba. 31 Saindo eles, porém, divulgaram-lhe a fama por toda aquela terra. 32 Ao retirarem-se eles, foi-lhe trazido um mudo endemoninhado. 33 E, expelido o demônio, falou o mudo; e as multidões se admiravam, dizendo: Jamais se viu tal coisa em Israel! 34 Mas os fariseus murmuravam: Pelo maioral dos demônios é que expele os demônios. 35 E percorria Jesus todas as cidades e povoados, ensinando nas sinagogas, pregando o evangelho do reino e curando toda sorte de doenças e enfermidades. 36 Vendo ele as multidões, compadeceu-se delas, porque estavam aflitas e exaustas como ovelhas que não têm pastor. 37 E, então, se dirigiu a seus discípulos: A seara, na verdade, é grande, mas os trabalhadores são poucos. 38 Rogai, pois, ao Senhor da seara que mande trabalhadores para a sua seara. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  9 And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. 2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. 3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. 4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? 5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? 6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. 7 And he arose, and departed to his house. 8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. 9 And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. 10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. 14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. 16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. 17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. 18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. 19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. 20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. 23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, 24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. 25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. 26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land. 27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. 31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country. 32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil. 33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. 34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils. 35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Esdras 9 1 Acabadas, pois, estas coisas, vieram ter comigo os príncipes, dizendo: O povo de Israel, e os sacerdotes, e os levitas não se separaram dos povos de outras terras com as suas abominações, isto é, dos cananeus, dos heteus, dos ferezeus, dos jebuseus, dos amonitas, dos moabitas, dos egípcios e dos amorreus, 2 pois tomaram das suas filhas para si e para seus filhos, e, assim, se misturou a linhagem santa com os povos dessas terras, e até os príncipes e magistrados foram os primeiros nesta transgressão. 3 Ouvindo eu tal coisa, rasguei as minhas vestes e o meu manto, e arranquei os cabelos da cabeça e da barba, e me assentei atônito. 4 Então, se ajuntaram a mim todos os que tremiam das palavras do Deus de Israel, por causa da transgressão dos do cativeiro; porém eu permaneci assentado atônito até ao sacrifício da tarde. 5 Na hora do sacrifício da tarde, levantei-me da minha humilhação, com as vestes e o manto já rasgados, me pus de joelhos, estendi as mãos para o SENHOR, meu Deus, 6 e disse: Meu Deus! Estou confuso e envergonhado, para levantar a ti a face, meu Deus, porque as nossas iniqüidades se multiplicaram sobre a nossa cabeça, e a nossa culpa cresceu até aos céus. 7 Desde os dias de nossos pais até hoje, estamos em grande culpa e, por causa das nossas iniqüidades, fomos entregues, nós, os nossos reis e os nossos sacerdotes, nas mãos dos reis de outras terras e sujeitos à espada, ao cativeiro, ao roubo e à ignomínia, como hoje se vê. 8 Agora, por breve momento, se nos manifestou a graça da parte do SENHOR, nosso Deus, para nos deixar alguns que escapem e para dar-nos estabilidade no seu santo lugar; para nos alumiar os olhos, ó Deus nosso, e para nos dar um pouco de vida na nossa servidão; 9 porque somos servos, porém, na nossa servidão, não nos desamparou o nosso Deus; antes, estendeu sobre nós a sua misericórdia, e achamos favor perante os reis da Pérsia, para nos reviver, para levantar a casa do nosso Deus, para restaurar as suas ruínas e para que nos desse um muro de segurança em Judá e em Jerusalém. 10 Agora, ó nosso Deus, que diremos depois disto? Pois deixamos os teus mandamentos, 11 que ordenaste por intermédio dos teus servos, os profetas, dizendo: A terra em que entrais para a possuir é terra imunda pela imundícia dos seus povos, pelas abominações com que, na sua corrupção, a encheram de uma extremidade à outra. 12 Por isso, não dareis as vossas filhas a seus filhos, e suas filhas não tomareis para os vossos filhos, e jamais procurareis a paz e o bem desses povos; para que sejais fortes, e comais o melhor da terra, e a deixeis por herança a vossos filhos, para sempre. 13 Depois de tudo o que nos tem sucedido por causa das nossas más obras e da nossa grande culpa, e vendo ainda que tu, ó nosso Deus, nos tens castigado menos do que merecem as nossas iniqüidades e ainda nos deste este restante que escapou, 14 tornaremos a violar os teus mandamentos e a aparentar-nos com os povos destas abominações? Não te indignarias tu, assim, contra nós, até de todo nos consumires, até não haver restante nem alguém que escapasse? 15 Ah! SENHOR, Deus de Israel, justo és, pois somos os restantes que escaparam, como hoje se vê. Eis que estamos diante de ti na nossa culpa, porque ninguém há que possa estar na tua presença por causa disto. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  9 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. 2 For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass. 3 And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied. 4 Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice. 5 And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the Lord my God, 6 And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. 7 Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day. 8 And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage. 9 For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem. 10 And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments, 11 Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness. 12 Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever. 13 And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this; 14 Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping? 15 O Lord God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Observações por Blog Heavenly Heavenly Nem a morte tem força de ação num coração cujo espírito está com o Altíssimo, Senhor DEUS.  "Tendo Jesus chegado à casa do chefe e vendo os tocadores de flauta e o povo em alvoroço, disse:  Retirai-vos, porque não está morta a menina, mas dorme. tudo o que se move sobre a terra e todos os peixes do mar nas vossas mãos serão entregues. 3 Tudo o que se move e vive ser-vos-á para alimento; como vos dei a erva verde, tudo vos dou agora. 4 Carne, porém, com sua vida, isto é, com seu sangue, não comereis. 5 Certamente, requererei o vosso sangue, o sangue da vossa vida; de todo animal o requererei, como também da mão do homem, sim, da mão do próximo de cada um requererei a vida do homem. 6 Se alguém derramar o sangue do homem, pelo homem se derramará o seu; porque Deus fez o homem segundo a sua imagem. 7 Mas sede fecundos e multiplicai-vos; povoai a terra e multiplicai-vos nela. 8 Disse também Deus a Noé e a seus filhos: 9 Eis que estabeleço a minha aliança convosco, e com a vossa descendência, 10 e com todos os seres viventes que estão convosco: tanto as aves, os animais domésticos e os animais selváticos que saíram da arca como todos os animais da terra. 11 Estabeleço a minha aliança convosco: não será mais destruída toda carne por águas de dilúvio, nem mais haverá dilúvio para destruir a terra. 12 Disse Deus: Este é o sinal da minha aliança que faço entre mim e vós e entre todos os seres viventes que estão convosco, para perpétuas gerações: 13 porei nas nuvens o meu arco; será por sinal da aliança entre mim e a terra. 14 Sucederá que, quando eu trouxer nuvens sobre a terra, e nelas aparecer o arco, 15 então, me lembrarei da minha aliança, firmada entre mim e vós e todos os seres viventes de toda carne; e as águas não mais se tornarão em dilúvio para destruir toda carne. 16 O arco estará nas nuvens; vê-lo-ei e me lembrarei da aliança eterna entre Deus e todos os seres viventes de toda carne que há sobre a terra. 17 Disse Deus a Noé: Este é o sinal da aliança estabelecida entre mim e toda carne sobre a terra. 18 Os filhos de Noé, que saíram da arca, foram Sem, Cam e Jafé; Cam é o pai de Canaã. 19 São eles os três filhos de Noé; e deles se povoou toda a terra. 20 Sendo Noé lavrador, passou a plantar uma vinha. 21 Bebendo do vinho, embriagou-se e se pôs nu dentro de sua tenda. 22 Cam, pai de Canaã, vendo a nudez do pai, fê-lo saber, fora, a seus dois irmãos. 23 Então, Sem e Jafé tomaram uma capa, puseram-na sobre os próprios ombros de ambos e, andando de costas, rostos desviados, cobriram a nudez do pai, sem que a vissem. 24 Despertando Noé do seu vinho, soube o que lhe fizera o filho mais moço 25 e disse: Maldito seja Canaã; seja servo dos servos a seus irmãos. 26 E ajuntou: Bendito seja o SENHOR, Deus de Sem; e Canaã lhe seja servo. 27 Engrandeça Deus a Jafé, e habite ele nas tendas de Sem; e Canaã lhe seja servo. 28 Noé, passado o dilúvio, viveu ainda trezentos e cinqüenta anos. 29 Todos os dias de Noé foram novecentos e cinqüenta anos; into your hand are they delivered. 3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. 4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. 5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. 7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. 8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, 9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; 10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. 11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. 12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. 17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth. 18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. 19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread. 20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. 24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. 29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Mateus 8 1 Ora, descendo ele do monte, grandes multidões o seguiram. 2 E eis que um leproso, tendo-se aproximado, adorou-o, dizendo: Senhor, se quiseres, podes purificar-me. 3 E Jesus, estendendo a mão, tocou-lhe, dizendo: Quero, fica limpo! E imediatamente ele ficou limpo da sua lepra. 4 Disse-lhe, então, Jesus: Olha, não o digas a ninguém, mas vai mostrar-te ao sacerdote e fazer a oferta que Moisés ordenou, para servir de testemunho ao povo. 5 Tendo Jesus entrado em Cafarnaum, apresentou-se-lhe um centurião, implorando: 6 Senhor, o meu criado jaz em casa, de cama, paralítico, sofrendo horrivelmente. 7 Jesus lhe disse: Eu irei curá-lo. 8 Mas o centurião respondeu: Senhor, não sou digno de que entres em minha casa; mas apenas manda com uma palavra, e o meu rapaz será curado. 9 Pois também eu sou homem sujeito à autoridade, tenho soldados às minhas ordens e digo a este: vai, e ele vai; e a outro: vem, e ele vem; e ao meu servo: faze isto, e ele o faz. 10 Ouvindo isto, admirou-se Jesus e disse aos que o seguiam: Em verdade vos afirmo que nem mesmo em Israel achei fé como esta. 11 Digo-vos que muitos virão do Oriente e do Ocidente e tomarão lugares à mesa com Abraão, Isaque e Jacó no reino dos céus. 12 Ao passo que os filhos do reino serão lançados para fora, nas trevas; ali haverá choro e ranger de dentes. 13 Então, disse Jesus ao centurião: Vai-te, e seja feito conforme a tua fé. E, naquela mesma hora, o servo foi curado. 14 Tendo Jesus chegado à casa de Pedro, viu a sogra deste acamada e ardendo em febre. 15 Mas Jesus tomou-a pela mão, e a febre a deixou. Ela se levantou e passou a servi-lo. 16 Chegada a tarde, trouxeram-lhe muitos endemoninhados; e ele meramente com a palavra expeliu os espíritos e curou todos os que estavam doentes; 17 para que se cumprisse o que fora dito por intermédio do profeta Isaías: Ele mesmo tomou as nossas enfermidades e carregou com as nossas doenças. 18 Vendo Jesus muita gente ao seu redor, ordenou que passassem para a outra margem. 19 Então, aproximando-se dele um escriba, disse-lhe: Mestre, seguir-te-ei para onde quer que fores. 20 Mas Jesus lhe respondeu: As raposas têm seus covis, e as aves do céu, ninhos; mas o Filho do Homem não tem onde reclinar a cabeça. 21 E outro dos discípulos lhe disse: Senhor, permite-me ir primeiro sepultar meu pai. 22 Replicou-lhe, porém, Jesus: Segue-me, e deixa aos mortos o sepultar os seus próprios mortos. 23 Então, entrando ele no barco, seus discípulos o seguiram. 24 E eis que sobreveio no mar uma grande tempestade, de sorte que o barco era varrido pelas ondas. Entretanto, Jesus dormia. 25 Mas os discípulos vieram acordá-lo, clamando: Senhor, salva-nos! Perecemos! 26 Perguntou-lhes, então, Jesus: Por que sois tímidos, homens de pequena fé? E, levantando-se, repreendeu os ventos e o mar; e fez-se grande bonança. 27 E maravilharam-se os homens, dizendo: Quem é este que até os ventos e o mar lhe obedecem? 28 Tendo ele chegado à outra margem, à terra dos gadarenos, vieram-lhe ao encontro dois endemoninhados, saindo dentre os sepulcros, e a tal ponto furiosos, que ninguém podia passar por aquele caminho. 29 E eis que gritaram: Que temos nós contigo, ó Filho de Deus! Vieste aqui atormentar-nos antes do tempo? 30 Ora, andava pastando, não longe deles, uma grande manada de porcos. 31 Então, os demônios lhe rogavam: Se nos expeles, manda-nos para a manada de porcos. 32 Pois ide, ordenou-lhes Jesus. E eles, saindo, passaram para os porcos; e eis que toda a manada se precipitou, despenhadeiro abaixo, para dentro do mar, e nas águas pereceram. 33 Fugiram os porqueiros e, chegando à cidade, contaram todas estas coisas e o que acontecera aos endemoninhados. 34 Então, a cidade toda saiu para encontrar-se com Jesus; e, vendo-o, lhe rogaram que se retirasse da terra deles. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  8 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. 2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. 5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. 14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. 15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. 16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. 18 Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side. 19 And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. 23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. 24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. 25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. 26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! 28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. 29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? 30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. 31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. 32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters. 33 And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils. 34 And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Esdras 8 1 São estes os cabeças de famílias, com as suas genealogias, os que subiram comigo da Babilônia, no reinado do rei Artaxerxes: 2 dos filhos de Finéias, Gérson; dos filhos de Itamar, Daniel; dos filhos de Davi, Hatus; 3 dos filhos de Secanias, dos filhos de Parós, Zacarias, e, com ele, foram registrados cento e cinqüenta homens. 4 Dos filhos de Paate-Moabe, Elioenai, filho de Zeraías, e, com ele, duzentos homens. 5 Dos filhos de Secanias, o filho de Jaaziel, e, com ele, trezentos homens. 6 Dos filhos de Adim, Ebede, filho de Jônatas, e, com ele, cinqüenta homens. 7 Dos filhos de Elão, Jesaías, filho de Atalias, e, com ele, setenta homens. 8 Dos filhos de Sefatias, Zebadias, filho de Micael, e, com ele, oitenta homens. 9 Dos filhos de Joabe, Obadias, filho de Jeiel, e, com ele, duzentos e dezoito homens. 10 Dos filhos de Bani, Selomite, filho de Josifias, e, com ele, cento e sessenta homens. 11 Dos filhos de Bebai, Zacarias, o filho de Bebai, e, com ele, vinte e oito homens. 12 Dos filhos de Azgade, Joanã, o filho de Hacatã, e, com ele, cento e dez homens. 13 Dos filhos de Adonicão, últimos a chegar, seus nomes eram estes: Elifelete, Jeiel e Semaías, e, com eles, sessenta homens. 14 Dos filhos de Bigvai, Utai e Zabude, e, com eles, setenta homens. 15 Ajuntei-os perto do rio que corre para Aava, onde ficamos acampados três dias. Passando revista ao povo e aos sacerdotes e não tendo achado nenhum dos filhos de Levi, 16 enviei Eliézer, Ariel, Semaías, Elnatã, Jaribe, Elnatã, Natã, Zacarias e Mesulão, os chefes, como também a Joiaribe e a Elnatã, que eram sábios. 17 Enviei-os a Ido, chefe em Casifia, e lhes dei expressamente as palavras que deveriam dizer a Ido e aos servidores do templo, seus irmãos, em Casifia, para nos trazerem ministros para a casa do nosso Deus. 18 Trouxeram-nos, segundo a boa mão de Deus sobre nós, um homem sábio, dos filhos de Mali, filho de Levi, filho de Israel, a saber, Serebias, com os seus filhos e irmãos, dezoito; 19 e a Hasabias e, com ele, Jesaías, dos filhos de Merari, com seus irmãos e os filhos deles, vinte; 20 e dos servidores do templo, que Davi e os príncipes deram para o ministério dos levitas, duzentos e vinte, todos eles mencionados nominalmente. 21 Então, apregoei ali um jejum junto ao rio Aava, para nos humilharmos perante o nosso Deus, para lhe pedirmos jornada feliz para nós, para nossos filhos e para tudo o que era nosso. 22 Porque tive vergonha de pedir ao rei exército e cavaleiros para nos defenderem do inimigo no caminho, porquanto já lhe havíamos dito: A boa mão do nosso Deus é sobre todos os que o buscam, para o bem deles; mas a sua força e a sua ira, contra todos os que o abandonam. 23 Nós, pois, jejuamos e pedimos isto ao nosso Deus, e ele nos atendeu. 24 Então, separei doze dos principais, isto é, Serebias, Hasabias e dez dos seus irmãos. 25 Pesei-lhes a prata, e o ouro, e os utensílios que eram a contribuição para a casa de nosso Deus, a qual ofereceram o rei, os seus conselheiros, os seus príncipes e todo o Israel que se achou ali. 26 Entreguei-lhes nas mãos seiscentos e cinqüenta talentos de prata e, em objetos de prata, cem talentos, além de cem talentos de ouro; 27 e vinte taças de ouro de mil daricos e dois objetos de lustroso e fino bronze, tão precioso como ouro. 28 Disse-lhes: Vós sois santos ao SENHOR, e santos são estes objetos, como também esta prata e este ouro, oferta voluntária ao SENHOR, Deus de vossos pais. 29 Vigiai-os e guardai-os até que os peseis na presença dos principais sacerdotes, e dos levitas, e dos cabeças de famílias de Israel, em Jerusalém, nas câmaras da Casa do SENHOR. 30 Então, receberam os sacerdotes e os levitas o peso da prata, do ouro e dos objetos, para trazerem a Jerusalém, à casa de nosso Deus. 31 Partimos do rio Aava, no dia doze do primeiro mês, a fim de irmos para Jerusalém; e a boa mão do nosso Deus estava sobre nós e livrou-nos das mãos dos inimigos e dos que nos armavam ciladas pelo caminho. 32 Chegamos a Jerusalém e repousamos ali três dias. 33 No quarto dia, pesamos, na casa do nosso Deus, a prata, o ouro, os objetos e os entregamos a Meremote, filho do sacerdote Urias; com ele estava Eleazar, filho de Finéias, e, com eles, Jozabade, filho de Jesua, e Noadias, filho de Binui, levitas; 34 tudo foi contado e pesado, e o peso total, imediatamente registrado. 35 Os exilados que vieram do cativeiro ofereceram holocaustos ao Deus de Israel, doze novilhos por todo o Israel, noventa e seis carneiros, setenta e sete cordeiros e, como oferta pelo pecado, doze bodes; Elihoenai the son of Zerahiah, and with him two hundred males. 5 Of the sons of Shechaniah; the son of Jahaziel, and with him three hundred males. 6 Of the sons also of Adin; Ebed the son of Jonathan, and with him fifty males. 7 And of the sons of Elam; Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah, and with him seventy males. 8 And of the sons of Shephatiah; Zebadiah the son of Michael, and with him fourscore males. 9 Of the sons of Joab; Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundred and eighteen males. 10 And of the sons of Shelomith; the son of Josiphiah, and with him an hundred and threescore males. 11 And of the sons of Bebai; Zechariah the son of Bebai, and with him twenty and eight males. 12 And of the sons of Azgad; Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten males. 13 And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males. 14 Of the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai, and Zabbud, and with them seventy males. 15 And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi. 16 Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding. 17 And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God. 18 And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen; 19 And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty; 20 Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name. 21 Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. 22 For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him. 23 So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us. 24 Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them, 25 And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered: 26 I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents; 27 Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold. 28 And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the Lord; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the Lord God of your fathers. 29 Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the Lord. 30 So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God. 31 Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way. 32 And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days. 33 Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; E ao que voltar-se para o que não O agrada, condiz com voltar-se para o que é mal.  Pois o Senhor DEUS tudo fez, para que nenhum ser humano perdesse o direito de escolher a benção. Porque ausente do que é oriundo d'ELE para o bem do ser humano, não existe benção alguma, nem para viver nem para receber. "Tendo ELE chegado à outra margem, à terra dos gadarenos, vieram-lhe ao encontro dois endemoninhados, saindo dentre os sepulcros, e a tal ponto furiosos, que ninguém podia passar por aquele caminho.
