LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Êxodo 1 Lucas 6  Jó 19 LEITURA  19º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Êxodo 1 1 São estes os nomes dos filhos de Israel que entraram com Jacó no Egito; cada um entrou com sua família: 2 Rúben, Simeão, Levi e Judá, 3 Issacar, Zebulom e Benjamim, 4 Dã, Naftali, Gade e Aser. 5 Todas as pessoas, pois, que descenderam de Jacó foram setenta; José, porém, estava no Egito. 6 Faleceu José, e todos os seus irmãos, e toda aquela geração. 7 Mas os filhos de Israel foram fecundos, e aumentaram muito, e se multiplicaram, e grandemente se fortaleceram, de maneira que a terra se encheu deles. 8 Entrementes, se levantou novo rei sobre o Egito, que não conhecera a José. 9 Ele disse ao seu povo: Eis que o povo dos filhos de Israel é mais numeroso e mais forte do que nós. 10 Eia, usemos de astúcia para com ele, para que não se multiplique, e seja o caso que, vindo guerra, ele se ajunte com os nossos inimigos, peleje contra nós e saia da terra. 11 E os egípcios puseram sobre eles feitores de obras, para os afligirem com suas cargas. E os israelitas edificaram a Faraó as cidades-celeiros, Pitom e Ramessés. 12 Mas, quanto mais os afligiam, tanto mais se multiplicavam e tanto mais se espalhavam; de maneira que se inquietavam por causa dos filhos de Israel; 13 então, os egípcios, com tirania, faziam servir os filhos de Israel 14 e lhes fizeram amargar a vida com dura servidão, em barro, e em tijolos, e com todo o trabalho no campo; com todo o serviço em que na tirania os serviam. 15 O rei do Egito ordenou às parteiras hebréias, das quais uma se chamava Sifrá, e outra, Puá, 16 dizendo: Quando servirdes de parteira às hebréias, examinai: se for filho, matai-o; mas, se for filha, que viva. 17 As parteiras, porém, temeram a Deus e não fizeram como lhes ordenara o rei do Egito; antes, deixaram viver os meninos. 18 Então, o rei do Egito chamou as parteiras e lhes disse: Por que fizestes isso e deixastes viver os meninos? 19 Responderam as parteiras a Faraó: É que as mulheres hebréias não são como as egípcias; são vigorosas e, antes que lhes chegue a parteira, já deram à luz os seus filhos. 20 E Deus fez bem às parteiras; e o povo aumentou e se tornou muito forte. 21 E, porque as parteiras temeram a Deus, ele lhes constituiu família. 22 Então, ordenou Faraó a todo o seu povo, dizendo: A todos os filhos que nascerem aos hebreus lançareis no Nilo, mas a todas as filhas deixareis viver. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob. 2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, 3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, 4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. 5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already. 6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. 7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. 8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. 9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: 10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. 11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. 12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel. 13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: 14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour. 15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: 16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. 17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. 18 And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive? 19 And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. 20 Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. 21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. 22 And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Lucas 6 1Aconteceu que, num sábado, atravessando Jesus algumas searas, Seus discípulos arrancavam espigas e comiam, debulhando-as com as mãos. 1 Aconteceu que, num sábado, passando Jesus pelas searas, os seus discípulos colhiam e comiam espigas, debulhando-as com as mãos. 2 E alguns dos fariseus lhes disseram: Por que fazeis o que não é lícito aos sábados? 3 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: Nem ao menos tendes lido o que fez Davi, quando teve fome, ele e seus companheiros? 4 Como entrou na casa de Deus, tomou, e comeu os pães da proposição, e os deu aos que com ele estavam, pães que não lhes era lícito comer, mas exclusivamente aos sacerdotes? 5 E acrescentou-lhes: O Filho do Homem é senhor do sábado. 6 Sucedeu que, em outro sábado, entrou ele na sinagoga e ensinava. Ora, achava-se ali um homem cuja mão direita estava ressequida. 7 Os escribas e os fariseus observavam-no, procurando ver se ele faria uma cura no sábado, a fim de acharem de que o acusar. 8 Mas ele, conhecendo-lhes os pensamentos, disse ao homem da mão ressequida: Levanta-te e vem para o meio; e ele, levantando-se, permaneceu de pé. 9 Então, disse Jesus a eles: Que vos parece? É lícito, no sábado, fazer o bem ou o mal? Salvar a vida ou deixá-la perecer? 10 E, fitando todos ao redor, disse ao homem: Estende a mão. Ele assim o fez, e a mão lhe foi restaurada. 11 Mas eles se encheram de furor e discutiam entre si quanto ao que fariam a Jesus. 12 Naqueles dias, retirou-se para o monte, a fim de orar, e passou a noite orando a Deus. 13 E, quando amanheceu, chamou a si os seus discípulos e escolheu doze dentre eles, aos quais deu também o nome de apóstolos: 14 Simão, a quem acrescentou o nome de Pedro, e André, seu irmão; Tiago e João; Filipe e Bartolomeu; 15 Mateus e Tomé; Tiago, filho de Alfeu, e Simão, chamado Zelote; 16 Judas, filho de Tiago, e Judas Iscariotes, que se tornou traidor. 17 E, descendo com eles, parou numa planura onde se encontravam muitos discípulos seus e grande multidão do povo, de toda a Judéia, de Jerusalém e do litoral de Tiro e de Sidom, 18 que vieram para o ouvirem e serem curados de suas enfermidades; também os atormentados por espíritos imundos eram curados. 19 E todos da multidão procuravam tocá-lo, porque dele saía poder; e curava todos. 20 Então, olhando ele para os seus discípulos, disse-lhes: Bem-aventurados vós, os pobres, porque vosso é o reino de Deus. 21 Bem-aventurados vós, os que agora tendes fome, porque sereis fartos. Bem-aventurados vós, os que agora chorais, porque haveis de rir. 22 Bem-aventurados sois quando os homens vos odiarem e quando vos expulsarem da sua companhia, vos injuriarem e rejeitarem o vosso nome como indigno, por causa do Filho do Homem. 23 Regozijai-vos naquele dia e exultai, porque grande é o vosso galardão no céu; pois dessa forma procederam seus pais com os profetas. 24 Mas ai de vós, os ricos! Porque tendes a vossa consolação. 25 Ai de vós, os que estais agora fartos! Porque vireis a ter fome. Ai de vós, os que agora rides! Porque haveis de lamentar e chorar. 26 Ai de vós, quando todos vos louvarem! Porque assim procederam seus pais com os falsos profetas. 27 Digo-vos, porém, a vós outros que me ouvis: amai os vossos inimigos, fazei o bem aos que vos odeiam; 28 bendizei aos que vos maldizem, orai pelos que vos caluniam. 29 Ao que te bate numa face, oferece-lhe também a outra; e, ao que tirar a tua capa, deixa-o levar também a túnica; 30 dá a todo o que te pede; e, se alguém levar o que é teu, não entres em demanda. 31 Como quereis que os homens vos façam, assim fazei-o vós também a eles. 32 Se amais os que vos amam, qual é a vossa recompensa? Porque até os pecadores amam aos que os amam. 33 Se fizerdes o bem aos que vos fazem o bem, qual é a vossa recompensa? Até os pecadores fazem isso. 34 E, se emprestais àqueles de quem esperais receber, qual é a vossa recompensa? Também os pecadores emprestam aos pecadores, para receberem outro tanto. 35 Amai, porém, os vossos inimigos, fazei o bem e emprestai, sem esperar nenhuma paga; será grande o vosso galardão, e sereis filhos do Altíssimo. Pois ele é benigno até para com os ingratos e maus. 36 Sede misericordiosos, como também é misericordioso vosso Pai. 37 Não julgueis e não sereis julgados; não condeneis e não sereis condenados; perdoai e sereis perdoados; 38 dai, e dar-se-vos-á; boa medida, recalcada, sacudida, transbordante, generosamente vos darão; porque com a medida com que tiverdes medido vos medirão também. 39 Propôs-lhes também uma parábola: Pode, porventura, um cego guiar a outro cego? Não cairão ambos no barranco? 40 O discípulo não está acima do seu mestre; todo aquele, porém, que for bem instruído será como o seu mestre. 41 Por que vês tu o argueiro no olho de teu irmão, porém não reparas na trave que está no teu próprio? 42 Como poderás dizer a teu irmão: Deixa, irmão, que eu tire o argueiro do teu olho, não vendo tu mesmo a trave que está no teu? Hipócrita, tira primeiro a trave do teu olho e, então, verás claramente para tirar o argueiro que está no olho de teu irmão. 43 Não há árvore boa que dê mau fruto; nem tampouco árvore má que dê bom fruto. 44 Porquanto cada árvore é conhecida pelo seu próprio fruto. Porque não se colhem figos de espinheiros, nem dos abrolhos se vindimam uvas. 45 O homem bom do bom tesouro do coração tira o bem, e o mau do mau tesouro tira o mal; porque a boca fala do que está cheio o coração. 46 Por que me chamais Senhor, Senhor, e não fazeis o que vos mando? 47 Todo aquele que vem a mim, e ouve as minhas palavras, e as pratica, eu vos mostrarei a quem é semelhante. 48 É semelhante a um homem que, edificando uma casa, cavou, abriu profunda vala e lançou o alicerce sobre a rocha; e, vindo a enchente, arrojou-se o rio contra aquela casa e não a pôde abalar, por ter sido bem construída. 49 Mas o que ouve e não pratica é semelhante a um homem que edificou uma casa sobre a terra sem alicerces, e, arrojando-se o rio contra ela, logo desabou; e aconteceu que foi grande a ruína daquela casa. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  6 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. 2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? 3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him; 4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone? 5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. 6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. 7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. 8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. 9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? 10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other. 11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus. 12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. 13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; 14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, 15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, 16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor. 17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; 18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. 19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. 20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. 21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. 22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. 23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. 24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. 25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. 26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. 27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. 30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. 39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? 40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye. 43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. 46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jó 19 1 Então, respondeu Jó: 2 Até quando afligireis a minha alma e me quebrantareis com palavras? 3 Já dez vezes me vituperastes e não vos envergonhais de injuriar-me. 4 Embora haja eu, na verdade, errado, comigo ficará o meu erro. 5 Se quereis engrandecer-vos contra mim e me argüis pelo meu opróbrio, 6 sabei agora que Deus é que me oprimiu e com a sua rede me cercou. 7 Eis que clamo: violência! Mas não sou ouvido; grito: socorro! Porém não há justiça. 8 O meu caminho ele fechou, e não posso passar; e nas minhas veredas pôs trevas. 9 Da minha honra me despojou e tirou-me da cabeça a coroa. 10 Arruinou-me de todos os lados, e eu me vou; e arrancou-me a esperança, como a uma árvore. 11 Inflamou contra mim a sua ira e me tem na conta de seu adversário. 12 Juntas vieram as suas tropas, prepararam contra mim o seu caminho e se acamparam ao redor da minha tenda. 13 Pôs longe de mim a meus irmãos, e os que me conhecem, como estranhos, se apartaram de mim. 14 Os meus parentes me desampararam, e os meus conhecidos se esqueceram de mim. 15 Os que se abrigam na minha casa e as minhas servas me têm por estranho, e vim a ser estrangeiro aos seus olhos. 16 Chamo o meu criado, e ele não me responde; tenho de suplicar-lhe, eu mesmo. 17 O meu hálito é intolerável à minha mulher, e pelo mau cheiro sou repugnante aos filhos de minha mãe. 18 Até as crianças me desprezam, e, querendo eu levantar-me, zombam de mim. 19 Todos os meus amigos íntimos me abominam, e até os que eu amava se tornaram contra mim. 20 Os meus ossos se apegam à minha pele e à minha carne, e salvei-me só com a pele dos meus dentes. 21 Compadecei-vos de mim, amigos meus, compadecei-vos de mim, porque a mão de Deus me atingiu. 22 Por que me perseguis como Deus me persegue e não cessais de devorar a minha carne? 23 Quem me dera fossem agora escritas as minhas palavras! Quem me dera fossem gravadas em livro! 24 Que, com pena de ferro e com chumbo, para sempre fossem esculpidas na rocha! 25 Porque eu sei que o meu Redentor vive e por fim se levantará sobre a terra. 26 Depois, revestido este meu corpo da minha pele, em minha carne verei a Deus. 27 Vê-lo-ei por mim mesmo, os meus olhos o verão, e não outros; de saudade me desfalece o coração dentro de mim. 28 Se disserdes: Como o perseguiremos? E: A causa deste mal se acha nele, 29 temei, pois, a espada, porque tais acusações merecem o seu furor, para saberdes que há um juízo. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  19 Then Job answered and said, 2 How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? 3 These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me. 4 And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself. 5 If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach: 6 Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net. 7 Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment. 8 He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths. 9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head. 10 He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree. 11 He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies. 12 His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle. 13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me. 14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me. 15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight. 16 I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth. 17 My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children's sake of mine own body. 18 Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me. 19 All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me. 20 My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth. 21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me. 22 Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh? 23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! 24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! 25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. 28 But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me? 29 Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦

LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Gênesis 50 Lucas 5  Jó 18 LEITURA  18º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Gênesis 50 1 Então, José se lançou sobre o rosto de seu pai, e chorou sobre ele, e o beijou. 2 Ordenou José a seus servos, aos que eram médicos, que embalsamassem a seu pai; e os médicos embalsamaram a Israel, 3 gastando nisso quarenta dias, pois assim se cumprem os dias do embalsamamento; e os egípcios o choraram setenta dias. 4 Passados os dias de o chorarem, falou José à casa de Faraó: Se agora achei mercê perante vós, rogo-vos que faleis aos ouvidos de Faraó, dizendo: 5 Meu pai me fez jurar, declarando: Eis que eu morro; no meu sepulcro que abri para mim na terra de Canaã, ali me sepultarás. Agora, pois, desejo subir e sepultar meu pai, depois voltarei. 6 Respondeu Faraó: Sobe e sepulta o teu pai como ele te fez jurar. 7 José subiu para sepultar o seu pai; e subiram com ele todos os oficiais de Faraó, os principais da sua casa e todos os principais da terra do Egito, 8 como também toda a casa de José, e seus irmãos, e a casa de seu pai; somente deixaram na terra de Gósen as crianças, e os rebanhos, e o gado. 9 E subiram também com ele tanto carros como cavaleiros; e o cortejo foi grandíssimo. 10 Chegando eles, pois, à eira de Atade, que está além do Jordão, fizeram ali grande e intensa lamentação; e José pranteou seu pai durante sete dias. 11 Tendo visto os moradores da terra, os cananeus, o luto na eira de Atade, disseram: Grande pranto é este dos egípcios. E por isso se chamou aquele lugar de Abel-Mizraim, que está além do Jordão. 12 Fizeram-lhe seus filhos como lhes havia ordenado: 13 levaram-no para a terra de Canaã e o sepultaram na caverna do campo de Macpela, que Abraão comprara com o campo, por posse de sepultura, a Efrom, o heteu, fronteiro a Manre. 14 Depois disso, voltou José para o Egito, ele, seus irmãos e todos os que com ele subiram a sepultar o seu pai. 15 Vendo os irmãos de José que seu pai já era morto, disseram: É o caso de José nos perseguir e nos retribuir certamente o mal todo que lhe fizemos. 16 Portanto, mandaram dizer a José: Teu pai ordenou, antes da sua morte, dizendo: 17 Assim direis a José: Perdoa, pois, a transgressão de teus irmãos e o seu pecado, porque te fizeram mal; agora, pois, te rogamos que perdoes a transgressão dos servos do Deus de teu pai. José chorou enquanto lhe falavam. 18 Depois, vieram também seus irmãos, prostraram-se diante dele e disseram: Eis-nos aqui por teus servos. 19 Respondeu-lhes José: Não temais; acaso, estou eu em lugar de Deus? 20 Vós, na verdade, intentastes o mal contra mim; porém Deus o tornou em bem, para fazer, como vedes agora, que se conserve muita gente em vida. 21 Não temais, pois; eu vos sustentarei a vós outros e a vossos filhos. E foram e encheram ambos os barcos, a ponto de quase irem a pique. 8 Vendo isto, Simão Pedro prostrou-se aos pés de Jesus, dizendo: Senhor, retira-te de mim, porque sou pecador. 9 Pois, à vista da pesca que fizeram, a admiração se apoderou dele e de todos os seus companheiros, 10 bem como de Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, que eram seus sócios. Disse Jesus a Simão: Não temas; doravante serás pescador de homens. 11 E, arrastando eles os barcos sobre a praia, deixando tudo, o seguiram. 12 Aconteceu que, estando ele numa das cidades, veio à sua presença um homem coberto de lepra; ao ver a Jesus, prostrando-se com o rosto em terra, suplicou-lhe: Senhor, se quiseres, podes purificar-me. 13 E ele, estendendo a mão, tocou-lhe, dizendo: Quero, fica limpo! E, no mesmo instante, lhe desapareceu a lepra. 14 Ordenou-lhe Jesus que a ninguém o dissesse, mas vai, disse, mostra-te ao sacerdote e oferece, pela tua purificação, o sacrifício que Moisés determinou, para servir de testemunho ao povo. 15 Porém o que se dizia a seu respeito cada vez mais se divulgava, e grandes multidões afluíam para o ouvirem e serem curadas de suas enfermidades. 16 Ele, porém, se retirava para lugares solitários e orava. 17 Ora, aconteceu que, num daqueles dias, estava ele ensinando, e achavam-se ali assentados fariseus e mestres da Lei, vindos de todas as aldeias da Galiléia, da Judéia e de Jerusalém. E o poder do Senhor estava com ele para curar. 18 Vieram, então, uns homens trazendo em um leito um paralítico; e procuravam introduzi-lo e pô-lo diante de Jesus. 19 E, não achando por onde introduzi-lo por causa da multidão, subindo ao eirado, o desceram no leito, por entre os ladrilhos, para o meio, diante de Jesus. 20 Vendo-lhes a fé, Jesus disse ao paralítico: Homem, estão perdoados os teus pecados. 21 E os escribas e fariseus arrazoavam, dizendo: Quem é este que diz blasfêmias? Quem pode perdoar pecados, senão Deus? 22 Jesus, porém, conhecendo-lhes os pensamentos, disse-lhes: Que arrazoais em vosso coração? 23 Qual é mais fácil, dizer: Estão perdoados os teus pecados ou: Levanta-te e anda? 24 Mas, para que saibais que o Filho do Homem tem sobre a terra autoridade para perdoar pecados – disse ao paralítico: Eu te ordeno: Levanta-te, toma o teu leito e vai para casa. 25 Imediatamente, se levantou diante deles e, tomando o leito em que permanecera deitado, voltou para casa, glorificando a Deus. 26 Todos ficaram atônitos, davam glória a Deus e, possuídos de temor, diziam: Hoje, vimos prodígios. 27 Passadas estas coisas, saindo, viu um publicano, chamado Levi, assentado na coletoria, e disse-lhe: Segue-me! 28 Ele se levantou e, deixando tudo, o seguiu. 29 Então, lhe ofereceu Levi um grande banquete em sua casa; e numerosos publicanos e outros estavam com eles à mesa. 30 Os fariseus e seus escribas murmuravam contra os discípulos de Jesus, perguntando: Por que comeis e bebeis com os publicanos e pecadores? 31 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: Os sãos não precisam de médico, e sim os doentes. 32 Não vim chamar justos, e sim pecadores, ao arrependimento. 33 Disseram-lhe eles: Os discípulos de João e bem assim os dos fariseus freqüentemente jejuam e fazem orações; os teus, entretanto, comem e bebem. 34 Jesus, porém, lhes disse: Podeis fazer jejuar os convidados para o casamento, enquanto está com eles o noivo? 35 Dias virão, contudo, em que lhes será tirado o noivo; naqueles dias, sim, jejuarão. 36 Também lhes disse uma parábola: Ninguém tira um pedaço de veste nova e o põe em veste velha; pois rasgará a nova, e o remendo da nova não se ajustará à velha. 37 E ninguém põe vinho novo em odres velhos, pois o vinho novo romperá os odres; entornar-se-á o vinho, e os odres se estragarão. 38 Pelo contrário, vinho novo deve ser posto em odres novos [e ambos se conservam]. 39 E ninguém, tendo bebido o vinho velho, prefere o novo; porque diz: O velho é excelente. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  5 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. 11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him. 12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. 14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. 15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. 16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. 17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. 18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. 19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. 20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Remover-se-ão as rochas do seu lugar? 5 Na verdade, a luz do perverso se apagará, e para seu fogo não resplandecerá a faísca; 6 a luz se escurecerá nas suas tendas, e a sua lâmpada sobre ele se apagará; 7 os seus passos fortes se estreitarão, e a sua própria trama o derribará. 8 Porque por seus próprios pés é lançado na rede e andará na boca de forje. 9 A armadilha o apanhará pelo calcanhar, e o laço o prenderá. 10 A corda está-lhe escondida na terra, e a armadilha, na vereda. 11 Os assombros o espantarão de todos os lados e o perseguirão a cada passo. 12 A calamidade virá faminta sobre ele, e a miséria estará alerta ao seu lado, 13 a qual lhe devorará os membros do corpo; serão devorados pelo primogênito da morte. 14 O perverso será arrancado da sua tenda, onde está confiado, e será levado ao rei dos terrores. 15 Nenhum dos seus morará na sua tenda, espalhar-se-á enxofre sobre a sua habitação. 16 Por baixo secarão as suas raízes, e murcharão por cima os seus ramos. 17 A sua memória desaparecerá da terra, e pelas praças não terá nome. 18 Da luz o lançarão nas trevas e o afugentarão do mundo. 19 Não terá filho nem posteridade entre o seu povo, nem sobrevivente algum ficará nas suas moradas. 20 Do seu dia se espantarão os do Ocidente, e os do Oriente serão tomados de horror. 21 Tais são, na verdade, as moradas do perverso, e este é o paradeiro do que não conhece a Deus. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  18 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, 2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak. 3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight? 4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place? 5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. 6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him. 7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down. 8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. 9 The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him. 10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way. 11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. 12 His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. 13 It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. 14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. 15 It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. 16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. 17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. 18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. 19 He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. 20 They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted. 21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
