LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Êxodo 12 Lucas 16  Jó 31 LEITURA  2º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Êxodo 12 1 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão na terra do Egito: 2 Este mês vos será o principal dos meses; será o primeiro mês do ano. 3 Falai a toda a congregação de Israel, dizendo: Aos dez deste mês, cada um tomará para si um cordeiro, segundo a casa dos pais, um cordeiro para cada família. 4 Mas, se a família for pequena para um cordeiro, então, convidará ele o seu vizinho mais próximo, conforme o número das almas; conforme o que cada um puder comer, por aí calculareis quantos bastem para o cordeiro. 5 O cordeiro será sem defeito, macho de um ano; podereis tomar um cordeiro ou um cabrito; 6 e o guardareis até ao décimo quarto dia deste mês, e todo o ajuntamento da congregação de Israel o imolará no crepúsculo da tarde. 7 Tomarão do sangue e o porão em ambas as ombreiras e na verga da porta, nas casas em que o comerem; 8 naquela noite, comerão a carne assada no fogo; com pães asmos e ervas amargas a comerão. 9 Não comereis do animal nada cru, nem cozido em água, porém assado ao fogo: a cabeça, as pernas e a fressura. 10 Nada deixareis dele até pela manhã; o que, porém, ficar até pela manhã, queimá-lo-eis. 11 Desta maneira o comereis: lombos cingidos, sandálias nos pés e cajado na mão; comê-lo-eis à pressa; é a Páscoa do SENHOR. 12 Porque, naquela noite, passarei pela terra do Egito e ferirei na terra do Egito todos os primogênitos, desde os homens até aos animais; executarei juízo sobre todos os deuses do Egito. Eu sou o SENHOR. 13 O sangue vos será por sinal nas casas em que estiverdes; quando eu vir o sangue, passarei por vós, e não haverá entre vós praga destruidora, quando eu ferir a terra do Egito. 14 Este dia vos será por memorial, e o celebrareis como solenidade ao SENHOR; nas vossas gerações o celebrareis por estatuto perpétuo. 15 Sete dias comereis pães asmos. Logo ao primeiro dia, tirareis o fermento das vossas casas, pois qualquer que comer coisa levedada, desde o primeiro dia até ao sétimo dia, essa pessoa será eliminada de Israel. 16 Ao primeiro dia, haverá para vós outros santa assembléia; também, ao sétimo dia, tereis santa assembléia; nenhuma obra se fará nele, exceto o que diz respeito ao comer; somente isso podereis fazer. 17 Guardai, pois, a Festa dos Pães Asmos, porque, nesse mesmo dia, tirei vossas hostes da terra do Egito; portanto, guardareis este dia nas vossas gerações por estatuto perpétuo. 18 Desde o dia catorze do primeiro mês, à tarde, comereis pães asmos até à tarde do dia vinte e um do mesmo mês. 19 Por sete dias, não se ache nenhum fermento nas vossas casas; porque qualquer que comer pão levedado será eliminado da congregação de Israel, tanto o peregrino como o natural da terra. 20 Nenhuma coisa levedada comereis; em todas as vossas habitações, comereis pães asmos. 21 Chamou, pois, Moisés todos os anciãos de Israel e lhes disse: Escolhei, e tomai cordeiros segundo as vossas famílias, e imolai a Páscoa. 22 Tomai um molho de hissopo, molhai-o no sangue que estiver na bacia e marcai a verga da porta e suas ombreiras com o sangue que estiver na bacia; nenhum de vós saia da porta da sua casa até pela manhã. 23 Porque o SENHOR passará para ferir os egípcios; quando vir, porém, o sangue na verga da porta e em ambas as ombreiras, passará o SENHOR aquela porta e não permitirá ao Destruidor que entre em vossas casas, para vos ferir. 24 Guardai, pois, isto por estatuto para vós outros e para vossos filhos, para sempre. 25 E, uma vez dentro na terra que o SENHOR vos dará, como tem dito, observai este rito. 26 Quando vossos filhos vos perguntarem: Que rito é este? 27 Respondereis: É o sacrifício da Páscoa ao SENHOR, que passou por cima das casas dos filhos de Israel no Egito, quando feriu os egípcios e livrou as nossas casas. Então, o povo se inclinou e adorou. 28 E foram os filhos de Israel e fizeram isso; como o SENHOR ordenara a Moisés e a Arão, assim fizeram. 29 Aconteceu que, à meia-noite, feriu o SENHOR todos os primogênitos na terra do Egito, desde o primogênito de Faraó, que se assentava no seu trono, até ao primogênito do cativo que estava na enxovia, e todos os primogênitos dos animais. 30 Levantou-se Faraó de noite, ele, todos os seus oficiais e todos os egípcios; e fez-se grande clamor no Egito, pois não havia casa em que não houvesse morto. 31 Então, naquela mesma noite, Faraó chamou a Moisés e a Arão e lhes disse: Levantai-vos, saí do meio do meu povo, tanto vós como os filhos de Israel; ide, servi ao SENHOR, como tendes dito. 32 Levai também convosco vossas ovelhas e vosso gado, como tendes dito; ide-vos embora e abençoai-me também a mim. 33 Os egípcios apertavam com o povo, apressando-se em lançá-los fora da terra, pois diziam: Todos morreremos. 34 O povo tomou a sua massa, antes que levedasse, e as suas amassadeiras atadas em trouxas com seus vestidos, sobre os ombros. 35 Fizeram, pois, os filhos de Israel conforme a palavra de Moisés e pediram aos egípcios objetos de prata, e objetos de ouro, e roupas. 36 E o SENHOR fez que seu povo encontrasse favor da parte dos egípcios, de maneira que estes lhes davam o que pediam. E despojaram os egípcios. 37 Assim, partiram os filhos de Israel de Ramessés para Sucote, cerca de seiscentos mil a pé, somente de homens, sem contar mulheres e crianças. 38 Subiu também com eles um misto de gente, ovelhas, gado, muitíssimos animais. 39 E cozeram bolos asmos da massa que levaram do Egito; pois não se tinha levedado, porque foram lançados fora do Egito; não puderam deter-se e não haviam preparado para si provisões. 40 Ora, o tempo que os filhos de Israel habitaram no Egito foi de quatrocentos e trinta anos. 41 Aconteceu que, ao cabo dos quatrocentos e trinta anos, nesse mesmo dia, todas as hostes do SENHOR saíram da terra do Egito. 42 Esta noite se observará ao SENHOR, porque, nela, os tirou da terra do Egito; esta é a noite do SENHOR, que devem todos os filhos de Israel comemorar nas suas gerações. 43 Disse mais o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão: Esta é a ordenança da Páscoa: nenhum estrangeiro comerá dela. 44 Porém todo escravo comprado por dinheiro, depois de o teres circuncidado, comerá dela. 45 O estrangeiro e o assalariado não comerão dela. 46 O cordeiro há de ser comido numa só casa; da sua carne não levareis fora da casa, nem lhe quebrareis osso nenhum. 47 Toda a congregação de Israel o fará. 48 Porém, se algum estrangeiro se hospedar contigo e quiser celebrar a Páscoa do SENHOR, seja-lhe circuncidado todo macho; e, então, se chegará, e a observará, e será como o natural da terra; mas nenhum incircunciso comerá dela. 49 A mesma lei haja para o natural e para o forasteiro que peregrinar entre vós. 50 Assim fizeram todos os filhos de Israel; como o SENHOR ordenara a Moisés e a Arão, assim fizeram. 51 Naquele mesmo dia, tirou o SENHOR os filhos de Israel do Egito, segundo as suas turmas. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  12 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. 5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. 7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. 8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. 10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. 11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord's passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. 13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. 14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever. 15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. 16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. 17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever. 18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. 19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. 20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread. 21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. 24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. 25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the Lord will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. 28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. 29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. 31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said. 32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also. 33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men. 34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders. 35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: 36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians. 37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. 38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. 39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual. 40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. 41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 42 It is a night to be much observed unto the Lord for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the Lord to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. 43 And the Lord said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: 44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof. 45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. 46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. 47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you. 50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. 51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the Lord did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Lucas 16 1 Disse Jesus também aos discípulos: Havia um homem rico que tinha um administrador; e este lhe foi denunciado como quem estava a defraudar os seus bens. 2 Então, mandando-o chamar, lhe disse: Que é isto que ouço a teu respeito? Presta contas da tua administração, porque já não podes mais continuar nela. 3 Disse o administrador consigo mesmo: Que farei, pois o meu senhor me tira a administração? Trabalhar na terra não posso; também de mendigar tenho vergonha. 4 Eu sei o que farei, para que, quando for demitido da administração, me recebam em suas casas. 5 Tendo chamado cada um dos devedores do seu senhor, disse ao primeiro: Quanto deves ao meu patrão? 6 Respondeu ele: Cem cados de azeite. Então, disse: Toma a tua conta, assenta-te depressa e escreve cinqüenta. 7 Depois, perguntou a outro: Tu, quanto deves? Respondeu ele: Cem coros de trigo. Disse-lhe: Toma a tua conta e escreve oitenta. 8 E elogiou o senhor o administrador infiel porque se houvera atiladamente, porque os filhos do mundo são mais hábeis na sua própria geração do que os filhos da luz. 9 E eu vos recomendo: das riquezas de origem iníqua fazei amigos; para que, quando aquelas vos faltarem, esses amigos vos recebam nos tabernáculos eternos. 10 Quem é fiel no pouco também é fiel no muito; e quem é injusto no pouco também é injusto no muito. 11 Se, pois, não vos tornastes fiéis na aplicação das riquezas de origem injusta, quem vos confiará a verdadeira riqueza? 12 Se não vos tornastes fiéis na aplicação do alheio, quem vos dará o que é vosso? 13 Ninguém pode servir a dois senhores; porque ou há de aborrecer-se de um e amar ao outro ou se devotará a um e desprezará ao outro. Não podeis servir a Deus e às riquezas. 14 Os fariseus, que eram avarentos, ouviam tudo isto e o ridiculizavam. 15 Mas Jesus lhes disse: Vós sois os que vos justificais a vós mesmos diante dos homens, mas Deus conhece o vosso coração; pois aquilo que é elevado entre homens é abominação diante de Deus. 16 A Lei e os Profetas vigoraram até João; desde esse tempo, vem sendo anunciado o evangelho do reino de Deus, e todo homem se esforça por entrar nele. 17 E é mais fácil passar o céu e a terra do que cair um til sequer da Lei. 18 Quem repudiar sua mulher e casar com outra comete adultério; e aquele que casa com a mulher repudiada pelo marido também comete adultério. 19 Ora, havia certo homem rico que se vestia de púrpura e de linho finíssimo e que, todos os dias, se regalava esplendidamente. 20 Havia também certo mendigo, chamado Lázaro, coberto de chagas, que jazia à porta daquele; 21 e desejava alimentar-se das migalhas que caíam da mesa do rico; e até os cães vinham lamber-lhe as úlceras. 22 Aconteceu morrer o mendigo e ser levado pelos anjos para o seio de Abraão; morreu também o rico e foi sepultado. 23 No inferno, estando em tormentos, levantou os olhos e viu ao longe a Abraão e Lázaro no seu seio. 24 Então, clamando, disse: Pai Abraão, tem misericórdia de mim! E manda a Lázaro que molhe em água a ponta do dedo e me refresque a língua, porque estou atormentado nesta chama. 25 Disse, porém, Abraão: Filho, lembra-te de que recebeste os teus bens em tua vida, e Lázaro igualmente, os males; agora, porém, aqui, ele está consolado; tu, em tormentos. 26 E, além de tudo, está posto um grande abismo entre nós e vós, de sorte que os que querem passar daqui para vós outros não podem, nem os de lá passar para nós. 27 Então, replicou: Pai, eu te imploro que o mandes à minha casa paterna, 28 porque tenho cinco irmãos; para que lhes dê testemunho, a fim de não virem também para este lugar de tormento. 29 Respondeu Abraão: Eles têm Moisés e os Profetas; ouçam-nos. 30 Mas ele insistiu: Não, pai Abraão; se alguém dentre os mortos for ter com eles, arrepender-se-ão. 31 Abraão, porém, lhe respondeu: Se não ouvem a Moisés e aos Profetas, tampouco se deixarão persuadir, ainda que ressuscite alguém dentre os mortos. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  16 And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. 2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. 3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. 4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. 5 So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? 6 And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. 7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. 8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. 9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. 10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. 11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? 13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. 16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. 17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. 18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery. 19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jó 31 1 Fiz aliança com meus olhos; como, pois, os fixaria eu numa donzela? 2 Que porção, pois, teria eu do Deus lá de cima e que herança, do Todo-Poderoso desde as alturas? 3 Acaso, não é a perdição para o iníquo, e o infortúnio, para os que praticam a maldade? 4 Ou não vê Deus os meus caminhos e não conta todos os meus passos? 5 Se andei com falsidade, e se o meu pé se apressou para o engano 6 (pese-me Deus em balanças fiéis e conhecerá a minha integridade); 7 se os meus passos se desviaram do caminho, e se o meu coração segue os meus olhos, e se às minhas mãos se apegou qualquer mancha, 8 então, semeie eu, e outro coma, e sejam arrancados os renovos do meu campo. 9 Se o meu coração se deixou seduzir por causa de mulher, se andei à espreita à porta do meu próximo, 10 então, moa minha mulher para outro, e outros se encurvem sobre ela. 11 Pois seria isso um crime hediondo, delito à punição de juízes; 12 pois seria fogo que consome até à destruição e desarraigaria toda a minha renda. 13 Se desprezei o direito do meu servo ou da minha serva, quando eles contendiam comigo, 14 então, que faria eu quando Deus se levantasse? E, inquirindo ele a causa, que lhe responderia eu? 15 Aquele que me formou no ventre materno não os fez também a eles? Ou não é o mesmo que nos formou na madre? 16 Se retive o que os pobres desejavam ou fiz desfalecer os olhos da viúva; 17 ou, se sozinho comi o meu bocado, e o órfão dele não participou 18 (Porque desde a minha mocidade cresceu comigo como se eu lhe fora o pai, e desde o ventre da minha mãe fui o guia da viúva.); 19 se a alguém vi perecer por falta de roupa e ao necessitado, por não ter coberta; 20 se os seus lombos não me abençoaram, se ele não se aquentava com a lã dos meus cordeiros; 21 se eu levantei a mão contra o órfão, por me ver apoiado pelos juízes da porta, 22 então, caia a omoplata do meu ombro, e seja arrancado o meu braço da articulação. 23 Porque o castigo de Deus seria para mim um assombro, e eu não poderia enfrentar a sua majestade. 24 Se no ouro pus a minha esperança ou disse ao ouro fino: em ti confio; 25 se me alegrei por serem grandes os meus bens e por ter a minha mão alcançado muito; 26 se olhei para o sol, quando resplandecia, ou para a lua, que caminhava esplendente, 27 e o meu coração se deixou enganar em oculto, e beijos lhes atirei com a mão, 28 também isto seria delito à punição de juízes; pois assim negaria eu ao Deus lá de cima. 29 Se me alegrei da desgraça do que me tem ódio e se exultei quando o mal o atingiu 30 (Também não deixei pecar a minha boca, pedindo com imprecações a sua morte.); 31 se a gente da minha tenda não disse: Ah! Quem haverá aí que não se saciou de carne provida por ele 32 (O estrangeiro não pernoitava na rua; as minhas portas abria ao viandante.)! 33 Se, como Adão, encobri as minhas transgressões, ocultando o meu delito no meu seio; 34 porque eu temia a grande multidão, e o desprezo das famílias me apavorava, de sorte que me calei e não saí da porta. 35 Tomara eu tivesse quem me ouvisse! Eis aqui a minha defesa assinada! Que o Todo-Poderoso me responda! Que o meu adversário escreva a sua acusação! 36 Por certo que a levaria sobre o meu ombro, atá-la-ia sobre mim como coroa; 37 mostrar-lhe-ia o número dos meus passos; como príncipe me chegaria a ele. 38 Se a minha terra clamar contra mim, e se os seus sulcos juntamente chorarem; 39 se comi os seus frutos sem tê-la pago devidamente e causei a morte aos seus donos, 40 por trigo me produza cardos, e por cevada, joio. Então, vos deixará ir daqui; quando vos deixar, é certo que vos expulsará totalmente. 2 Fala, agora, aos ouvidos do povo que todo homem peça ao seu vizinho, e toda mulher, à sua vizinha objetos de prata e de ouro. 3 E o SENHOR fez que o seu povo encontrasse favor da parte dos egípcios; também o homem Moisés era mui famoso na terra do Egito, aos olhos dos oficiais de Faraó e aos olhos do povo. 4 Moisés disse: Assim diz o SENHOR: Cerca da meia-noite passarei pelo meio do Egito. 5 E todo primogênito na terra do Egito morrerá, desde o primogênito de Faraó, que se assenta no seu trono, até ao primogênito da serva que está junto à mó, e todo primogênito dos animais. 6 Haverá grande clamor em toda a terra do Egito, qual nunca houve, nem haverá jamais; 7 porém contra nenhum dos filhos de Israel, desde os homens até aos animais, nem ainda um cão rosnará, para que saibais que o SENHOR fez distinção entre os egípcios e os israelitas. 8 Então, todos estes teus oficiais descerão a mim e se inclinarão perante mim, dizendo: Sai tu e todo o povo que te segue. E, depois disto, sairei. E, ardendo em ira, se retirou da presença de Faraó. 9 Então, disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Faraó não vos ouvirá, para que as minhas maravilhas se multipliquem na terra do Egito. 10 Moisés e Arão fizeram todas essas maravilhas perante Faraó; mas o SENHOR endureceu o coração de Faraó, que não permitiu saíssem da sua terra os filhos de Israel. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  11 And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. 2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold. 3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people. 4 And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: 5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. 8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger. 9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. 10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Lucas 15 1 Aproximavam-se de Jesus todos os publicanos e pecadores para o ouvir. 2 E murmuravam os fariseus e os escribas, dizendo: Este recebe pecadores e come com eles. 3 Então, lhes propôs Jesus esta parábola: 4 Qual, dentre vós, é o homem que, possuindo cem ovelhas e perdendo uma delas, não deixa no deserto as noventa e nove e vai em busca da que se perdeu, até encontrá-la? 5 Achando-a, põe-na sobre os ombros, cheio de júbilo. 6 E, indo para casa, reúne os amigos e vizinhos, dizendo-lhes: Alegrai-vos comigo, porque já achei a minha ovelha perdida. 7 Digo-vos que, assim, haverá maior júbilo no céu por um pecador que se arrepende do que por noventa e nove justos que não necessitam de arrependimento. 8 Ou qual é a mulher que, tendo dez dracmas, se perder uma, não acende a candeia, varre a casa e a procura diligentemente até encontrá-la? 9 E, tendo-a achado, reúne as amigas e vizinhas, dizendo: Alegrai-vos comigo, porque achei a dracma que eu tinha perdido. 10 Eu vos afirmo que, de igual modo, há júbilo diante dos anjos de Deus por um pecador que se arrepende. 11 Continuou: Certo homem tinha dois filhos; 12 o mais moço deles disse ao pai: Pai, dá-me a parte dos bens que me cabe. E ele lhes repartiu os haveres. 13 Passados não muitos dias, o filho mais moço, ajuntando tudo o que era seu, partiu para uma terra distante e lá dissipou todos os seus bens, vivendo dissolutamente. 14 Depois de ter consumido tudo, sobreveio àquele país uma grande fome, e ele começou a passar necessidade. 15 Então, ele foi e se agregou a um dos cidadãos daquela terra, e este o mandou para os seus campos a guardar porcos. 16 Ali, desejava ele fartar-se das alfarrobas que os porcos comiam; mas ninguém lhe dava nada. 17 Então, caindo em si, disse: Quantos trabalhadores de meu pai têm pão com fartura, e eu aqui morro de fome! 18 Levantar-me-ei, e irei ter com o meu pai, e lhe direi: Pai, pequei contra o céu e diante de ti; 19 já não sou digno de ser chamado teu filho; trata-me como um dos teus trabalhadores. 20 E, levantando-se, foi para seu pai. Vinha ele ainda longe, quando seu pai o avistou, e, compadecido dele, correndo, o abraçou, e beijou. 21 E o filho lhe disse: Pai, pequei contra o céu e diante de ti; já não sou digno de ser chamado teu filho. 22 O pai, porém, disse aos seus servos: Trazei depressa a melhor roupa, vesti-o, ponde-lhe um anel no dedo e sandálias nos pés; 23 trazei também e matai o novilho cevado. Comamos e regozijemo-nos, 24 porque este meu filho estava morto e reviveu, estava perdido e foi achado. E começaram a regozijar-se. 25 Ora, o filho mais velho estivera no campo; e, quando voltava, ao aproximar-se da casa, ouviu a música e as danças. 26 Chamou um dos criados e perguntou-lhe que era aquilo. 27 E ele informou: Veio teu irmão, e teu pai mandou matar o novilho cevado, porque o recuperou com saúde. 28 Ele se indignou e não queria entrar; saindo, porém, o pai, procurava conciliá-lo. 29 Mas ele respondeu a seu pai: Há tantos anos que te sirvo sem jamais transgredir uma ordem tua, e nunca me deste um cabrito sequer para alegrar-me com os meus amigos; 30 vindo, porém, esse teu filho, que desperdiçou os teus bens com meretrizes, tu mandaste matar para ele o novilho cevado. 31 Então, lhe respondeu o pai: Meu filho, tu sempre estás comigo; tudo o que é meu é teu. 32 Entretanto, era preciso que nos regozijássemos e nos alegrássemos, porque esse teu irmão estava morto e reviveu, estava perdido e foi achado. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  15 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. 3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying, 4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. 8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? 9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. 11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. 25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. 26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. 28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. 29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: 30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. 31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. 32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jó 30 1 Mas agora se riem de mim os de menos idade do que eu, e cujos pais eu teria desdenhado de pôr ao lado dos cães do meu rebanho. 2 De que também me serviria a força das suas mãos, homens cujo vigor já pereceu? 3 De míngua e fome se debilitaram; roem os lugares secos, desde muito em ruínas e desolados. 4 Apanham malvas e folhas dos arbustos e se sustentam de raízes de zimbro. 5 Do meio dos homens são expulsos; grita-se contra eles, como se grita atrás de um ladrão; 6 habitam nos desfiladeiros sombrios, nas cavernas da terra e das rochas. 7 Bramam entre os arbustos e se ajuntam debaixo dos espinheiros. 8 São filhos de doidos, raça infame, e da terra são escorraçados. 9 Mas agora sou a sua canção de motejo e lhes sirvo de provérbio. 10 Abominam-me, fogem para longe de mim e não se abstêm de me cuspir no rosto. 11 Porque Deus afrouxou a corda do meu arco e me oprimiu; pelo que sacudiram de si o freio perante o meu rosto. 12 À direita se levanta uma súcia, e me empurra, e contra mim prepara o seu caminho de destruição. 13 Arruínam a minha vereda, promovem a minha calamidade; gente para quem já não há socorro. 14 Vêm contra mim como por uma grande brecha e se revolvem avante entre as ruínas. 15 Sobrevieram-me pavores, como pelo vento é varrida a minha honra; como nuvem passou a minha felicidade. 16 Agora, dentro de mim se me derrama a alma; os dias da aflição se apoderaram de mim. 17 A noite me verruma os ossos e os desloca, e não descansa o mal que me rói. 18 Pela grande violência do meu mal está desfigurada a minha veste, mal que me cinge como a gola da minha túnica. 19 Deus, tu me lançaste na lama, e me tornei semelhante ao pó e à cinza. 20 Clamo a ti, e não me respondes; estou em pé, mas apenas olhas para mim. 21 Tu foste cruel comigo; com a força da tua mão tu me combates. 22 Levantas-me sobre o vento e me fazes cavalgá-lo; dissolves-me no estrondo da tempestade. 23 Pois eu sei que me levarás à morte e à casa destinada a todo vivente. 24 De um montão de ruínas não estenderá o homem a mão e na sua desventura não levantará um grito por socorro? 25 Acaso, não chorei sobre aquele que atravessava dias difíceis ou não se angustiou a minha alma pelo necessitado? 26 Aguardava eu o bem, e eis que me veio o mal; esperava a luz, veio-me a escuridão. 27 O meu íntimo se agita sem cessar; e dias de aflição me sobrevêm. 28 Ando de luto, sem a luz do sol; levanto-me na congregação e clamo por socorro. 29 Sou irmão dos chacais e companheiro de avestruzes. 30 Enegrecida se me cai a pele, e os meus ossos queimam em febre. 31 Por isso, a minha harpa se me tornou em prantos de luto, e a minha flauta, em voz dos que choram. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  30 But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock. 2 Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished? 3 For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste. 4 Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat. 5 They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;) 6 To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks. 7 Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together. 8 They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth. 9 And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword. 10 They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face. 11 Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me. 12 Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction. 13 They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper. 14 They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me. 15 Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud. 16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me. 17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest. 18 By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat. 19 He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes. 20 I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not. 21 Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me. 22 Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance. 23 For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living. 24 Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction. 25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor? 26 When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness. 27 My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me. 28 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation. 29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls. 30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat. 31 My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
