LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Êxodo 8 Lucas 13  Jó 27 LEITURA  26º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Êxodo 8 1 Depois, disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Chega-te a Faraó e dize-lhe: Assim diz o SENHOR: Deixa ir o meu povo, para que me sirva. 2 Se recusares deixá-lo ir, eis que castigarei com rãs todos os teus territórios. 3 O rio produzirá rãs em abundância, que subirão e entrarão em tua casa, e no teu quarto de dormir, e sobre o teu leito, e nas casas dos teus oficiais, e sobre o teu povo, e nos teus fornos, e nas tuas amassadeiras. 4 As rãs virão sobre ti, sobre o teu povo e sobre todos os teus oficiais. 5 Disse mais o SENHOR a Moisés: Dize a Arão: Estende a mão com o teu bordão sobre os rios, sobre os canais e sobre as lagoas e faze subir rãs sobre a terra do Egito. 6 Arão estendeu a mão sobre as águas do Egito, e subiram rãs e cobriram a terra do Egito. 7 Então, os magos fizeram o mesmo com suas ciências ocultas e fizeram aparecer rãs sobre a terra do Egito. 8 Chamou Faraó a Moisés e a Arão e lhes disse: Rogai ao SENHOR que tire as rãs de mim e do meu povo; então, deixarei ir o povo, para que ofereça sacrifícios ao SENHOR. 9 Falou Moisés a Faraó: Digna-te dizer-me quando é que hei de rogar por ti, pelos teus oficiais e pelo teu povo, para que as rãs sejam retiradas de ti e das tuas casas e fiquem somente no rio. 10 Ele respondeu: Amanhã. Moisés disse: Seja conforme a tua palavra, para que saibas que ninguém há como o SENHOR, nosso Deus. 11 Retirar-se-ão as rãs de ti, e das tuas casas, e dos teus oficiais, e do teu povo; ficarão somente no rio. 12 Então, saíram Moisés e Arão da presença de Faraó; e Moisés clamou ao SENHOR por causa das rãs, conforme combinara com Faraó. 13 E o SENHOR fez conforme a palavra de Moisés; morreram as rãs nas casas, nos pátios e nos campos. 14 Ajuntaram-nas em montões e montões, e a terra cheirou mal. 15 Vendo, porém, Faraó que havia alívio, continuou de coração endurecido e não os ouviu, como o SENHOR tinha dito. 16 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Dize a Arão: Estende o teu bordão e fere o pó da terra, para que se torne em piolhos por toda a terra do Egito. 17 Fizeram assim; Arão estendeu a mão com seu bordão e feriu o pó da terra, e houve muitos piolhos nos homens e no gado; todo o pó da terra se tornou em piolhos por toda a terra do Egito. 18 E fizeram os magos o mesmo com suas ciências ocultas para produzirem piolhos, porém não o puderam; e havia piolhos nos homens e no gado. 19 Então, disseram os magos a Faraó: Isto é o dedo de Deus. Porém o coração de Faraó se endureceu, e não os ouviu, como o SENHOR tinha dito. 20 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Levanta-te pela manhã cedo e apresenta-te a Faraó; eis que ele sairá às águas; e dize-lhe: Assim diz o SENHOR: Deixa ir o meu povo, para que me sirva. 21 Do contrário, se tu não deixares ir o meu povo, eis que eu enviarei enxames de moscas sobre ti, e sobre os teus oficiais, e sobre o teu povo, e nas tuas casas; e as casas dos egípcios se encherão destes enxames, e também a terra em que eles estiverem. 22 Naquele dia, separarei a terra de Gósen, em que habita o meu povo, para que nela não haja enxames de moscas, e saibas que eu sou o SENHOR no meio desta terra. 23 Farei distinção entre o meu povo e o teu povo; amanhã se dará este sinal. 24 Assim fez o SENHOR; e vieram grandes enxames de moscas à casa de Faraó, e às casas dos seus oficiais, e sobre toda a terra do Egito; e a terra ficou arruinada com estes enxames. 25 Chamou Faraó a Moisés e a Arão e disse: Ide, oferecei sacrifícios ao vosso Deus nesta terra. 26 Respondeu Moisés: Não convém que façamos assim porque ofereceríamos ao SENHOR, nosso Deus, sacrifícios abomináveis aos egípcios; eis que, se oferecermos tais sacrifícios perante os seus olhos, não nos apedrejarão eles? 27 Temos de ir caminho de três dias ao deserto e ofereceremos sacrifícios ao SENHOR, nosso Deus, como ele nos disser. 28 Então, disse Faraó: Deixar-vos-ei ir, para que ofereçais sacrifícios ao SENHOR, vosso Deus, no deserto; somente que, saindo, não vades muito longe; orai também por mim. 29 Respondeu-lhe Moisés: Eis que saio da tua presença e orarei ao SENHOR; amanhã, estes enxames de moscas se retirarão de Faraó, dos seus oficiais e do seu povo; somente que Faraó não mais me engane, não deixando ir o povo para que ofereça sacrifícios ao SENHOR. 30 Então, saiu Moisés da presença de Faraó e orou ao SENHOR. 31 E fez o SENHOR conforme a palavra de Moisés, e os enxames de moscas se retiraram de Faraó, dos seus oficiais e do seu povo; não ficou uma só mosca. 32 Mas ainda esta vez endureceu Faraó o coração e não deixou ir o povo. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  8 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me. 2 And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs: 3 And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs: 4 And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants. 5 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt. 6 And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt. 7 And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt. 8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the Lord, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the Lord. 9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only? 10 And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God. 11 And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only. 12 And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the Lord because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh. 13 And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields. 14 And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank. 15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said. 16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. 17 And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt. 18 And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast. 19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said. 20 And the Lord said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me. 21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are. 22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth. 23 And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be. 24 And the Lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies. 25 And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land. 26 And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the Lord our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us? 27 We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the Lord our God, as he shall command us. 28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me. 29 And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the Lord that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the Lord. 30 And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the Lord. 31 And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one. 32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Lucas 13 1 Naquela mesma ocasião, chegando alguns, falavam a Jesus a respeito dos galileus cujo sangue Pilatos misturara com os sacrifícios que os mesmos realizavam. 2 Ele, porém, lhes disse: Pensais que esses galileus eram mais pecadores do que todos os outros galileus, por terem padecido estas coisas? 3 Não eram, eu vo-lo afirmo; se, porém, não vos arrependerdes, todos igualmente perecereis. 4 Ou cuidais que aqueles dezoito sobre os quais desabou a torre de Siloé e os matou eram mais culpados que todos os outros habitantes de Jerusalém? 5 Não eram, eu vo-lo afirmo; mas, se não vos arrependerdes, todos igualmente perecereis. 6 Então, Jesus proferiu a seguinte parábola: Certo homem tinha uma figueira plantada na sua vinha e, vindo procurar fruto nela, não achou. 7 Pelo que disse ao viticultor: Há três anos venho procurar fruto nesta figueira e não acho; podes cortá-la; para que está ela ainda ocupando inutilmente a terra? 8 Ele, porém, respondeu: Senhor, deixa-a ainda este ano, até que eu escave ao redor dela e lhe ponha estrume. 9 Se vier a dar fruto, bem está; se não, mandarás cortá-la. 10 Ora, ensinava Jesus no sábado numa das sinagogas. 11 E veio ali uma mulher possessa de um espírito de enfermidade, havia já dezoito anos; andava ela encurvada, sem de modo algum poder endireitar-se. 12 Vendo-a Jesus, chamou-a e disse-lhe: Mulher, estás livre da tua enfermidade; 13 e, impondo-lhe as mãos, ela imediatamente se endireitou e dava glória a Deus. 14 O chefe da sinagoga, indignado de ver que Jesus curava no sábado, disse à multidão: Seis dias há em que se deve trabalhar; vinde, pois, nesses dias para serdes curados e não no sábado. 15 Disse-lhe, porém, o Senhor: Hipócritas, cada um de vós não desprende da manjedoura, no sábado, o seu boi ou o seu jumento, para levá-lo a beber? 16 Por que motivo não se devia livrar deste cativeiro, em dia de sábado, esta filha de Abraão, a quem Satanás trazia presa há dezoito anos? 17 Tendo ele dito estas palavras, todos os seus adversários se envergonharam. Entretanto, o povo se alegrava por todos os gloriosos feitos que Jesus realizava. 18 E dizia: A que é semelhante o reino de Deus, e a que o compararei? 19 É semelhante a um grão de mostarda que um homem plantou na sua horta; e cresceu e fez-se árvore; e as aves do céu aninharam-se nos seus ramos. 20 Disse mais: A que compararei o reino de Deus? 21 É semelhante ao fermento que uma mulher tomou e escondeu em três medidas de farinha, até ficar tudo levedado. 22 Passava Jesus por cidades e aldeias, ensinando e caminhando para Jerusalém. 23 E alguém lhe perguntou: Senhor, são poucos os que são salvos? 24 Respondeu-lhes: Esforçai-vos por entrar pela porta estreita, pois eu vos digo que muitos procurarão entrar e não poderão. 25 Quando o dono da casa se tiver levantado e fechado a porta, e vós, do lado de fora, começardes a bater, dizendo: Senhor, abre-nos a porta, ele vos responderá: Não sei donde sois. 26 Então, direis: Comíamos e bebíamos na tua presença, e ensinavas em nossas ruas. 27 Mas ele vos dirá: Não sei donde vós sois; apartai-vos de mim, vós todos os que praticais iniqüidades. 28 Ali haverá choro e ranger de dentes, quando virdes, no reino de Deus, Abraão, Isaque, Jacó e todos os profetas, mas vós, lançados fora. 29 Muitos virão do Oriente e do Ocidente, do Norte e do Sul e tomarão lugares à mesa no reino de Deus. 30 Contudo, há últimos que virão a ser primeiros, e primeiros que serão últimos. 31 Naquela mesma hora, alguns fariseus vieram para dizer-lhe: Retira-te e vai-te daqui, porque Herodes quer matar-te. 32 Ele, porém, lhes respondeu: Ide dizer a essa raposa que, hoje e amanhã, expulso demônios e curo enfermos e, no terceiro dia, terminarei. 33 Importa, contudo, caminhar hoje, amanhã e depois, porque não se espera que um profeta morra fora de Jerusalém. 34 Jerusalém, Jerusalém, que matas os profetas e apedrejas os que te foram enviados! Quantas vezes quis eu reunir teus filhos como a galinha ajunta os do seu próprio ninho debaixo das asas, e vós não o quisestes! 35 Eis que a vossa casa vos ficará deserta. E em verdade vos digo que não mais me vereis até que venhais a dizer: Bendito o que vem em nome do Senhor! ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  13 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. 10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. 11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. 15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? 16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him. 18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. 20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. 31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. 32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. 33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. 34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jó 27 1 Prosseguindo Jó em seu discurso, disse: 2 Tão certo como vive Deus, que me tirou o direito, e o Todo-Poderoso, que amargurou a minha alma, 3 enquanto em mim estiver a minha vida, e o sopro de Deus nos meus narizes, 4 nunca os meus lábios falarão injustiça, nem a minha língua pronunciará engano. 5 Longe de mim que eu vos dê razão! Até que eu expire, nunca afastarei de mim a minha integridade. 6 À minha justiça me apegarei e não a largarei; não me reprova a minha consciência por qualquer dia da minha vida. 7 Seja como o perverso o meu inimigo, e o que se levantar contra mim, como o injusto. 8 Porque qual será a esperança do ímpio, quando lhe for cortada a vida, quando Deus lhe arrancar a alma? 9 Acaso, ouvirá Deus o seu clamor, em lhe sobrevindo a tribulação? 10 Deleitar-se-á o perverso no Todo-Poderoso e invocará a Deus em todo o tempo? 11 Ensinar-vos-ei o que encerra a mão de Deus e não vos ocultarei o que está com o Todo-Poderoso. 12 Eis que todos vós já vistes isso; por que, pois, alimentais vãs noções? 13 Eis qual será da parte de Deus a porção do perverso e a herança que os opressores receberão do Todo-Poderoso: 14 Se os seus filhos se multiplicarem, será para a espada, e a sua prole não se fartará de pão. 15 Os que ficarem dela, a peste os enterrará, e as suas viúvas não chorarão. 16 Se o perverso amontoar prata como pó e acumular vestes como barro, 17 ele os acumulará, mas o justo é que os vestirá, e o inocente repartirá a prata. 18 Ele edifica a sua casa como a da traça e como a choça que o vigia constrói. 19 Rico se deita com a sua riqueza, abre os seus olhos e já não a vê. 20 Pavores se apoderam dele como inundação, de noite a tempestade o arrebata. 21 O vento oriental o leva, e ele se vai; varre-o com ímpeto do seu lugar. 22 Deus lança isto sobre ele e não o poupa, a ele que procura fugir precipitadamente da sua mão; 23 à sua queda lhe batem palmas, à saída o apupam com assobios. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  27 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, 2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; 3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; 4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. 5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. 6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. 7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous. 8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? 9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him? 10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God? 11 I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal. 12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain? 13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. 14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. 15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. 16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; 17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. 18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh. 19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not. 20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. 21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place. 22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. 23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Observações por Blog Heavenly Heavenly Sim, não são poucos os que realmente zombam do pecado. Mas o pecado é a injustiça. E o Altíssimo Senhor Deus é a justiça. Sabendo que ELE nos gerou pela Palavra da Verdade, então.. e Arão, teu irmão, falará a Faraó, para que deixe ir da sua terra os filhos de Israel. 3 Eu, porém, endurecerei o coração de Faraó e multiplicarei na terra do Egito os meus sinais e as minhas maravilhas. 4 Faraó não vos ouvirá; como o SENHOR lhes ordenara, assim fizeram. 7 Era Moisés de oitenta anos, e Arão, de oitenta e três, quando falaram a Faraó. 8 Falou o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão: 9 Quando Faraó vos disser: Fazei milagres que vos acreditem, dirás a Arão: Toma o teu bordão e lança-o diante de Faraó; e o bordão se tornará em serpente. 10 Então, Moisés e Arão se chegaram a Faraó e fizeram como o SENHOR lhes ordenara; lançou Arão o seu bordão diante de Faraó e diante dos seus oficiais, e ele se tornou em serpente. 11 Faraó, porém, mandou vir os sábios e encantadores; e eles, os sábios do Egito, fizeram também o mesmo com as suas ciências ocultas. 12 Pois lançaram eles cada um o seu bordão, e eles se tornaram em serpentes; mas o bordão de Arão devorou os bordões deles. 13 Todavia, o coração de Faraó se endureceu, e não os ouviu, como o SENHOR tinha dito. 14 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: O coração de Faraó está obstinado; recusa deixar ir o povo. 15 Vai ter com Faraó pela manhã; ele sairá às águas; estarás à espera dele na beira do rio, tomarás na mão o bordão que se tornou em serpente 16 e lhe dirás: O SENHOR, o Deus dos hebreus, me enviou a ti para te dizer: Deixa ir o meu povo, para que me sirva no deserto; e, até agora, não tens ouvido. 17 Assim diz o SENHOR: Nisto saberás que eu sou o SENHOR: com este bordão que tenho na mão ferirei as águas do rio, e se tornarão em sangue. 18 Os peixes que estão no rio morrerão, o rio cheirará mal, e os egípcios terão nojo de beber água do rio. 19 Disse mais o SENHOR a Moisés: Dize a Arão: toma o teu bordão e estende a mão sobre as águas do Egito, sobre os seus rios, sobre os seus canais, sobre as suas lagoas e sobre todos os seus reservatórios, para que se tornem em sangue; haja sangue em toda a terra do Egito, tanto nos vasos de madeira como nos de pedra. 20 Fizeram Moisés e Arão como o SENHOR lhes havia ordenado: Arão, levantando o bordão, feriu as águas que estavam no rio, à vista de Faraó e seus oficiais; e toda a água do rio se tornou em sangue. 21 De sorte que os peixes que estavam no rio morreram, o rio cheirou mal, e os egípcios não podiam beber a água do rio; e houve sangue por toda a terra do Egito. 22 Porém os magos do Egito fizeram também o mesmo com as suas ciências ocultas; e oculto que não venha a ser conhecido. 3 Porque tudo o que dissestes às escuras será ouvido em plena luz; e o que dissestes aos ouvidos no interior da casa será proclamado dos eirados. 4 Digo-vos, pois, amigos meus: não temais os que matam o corpo e, depois disso, nada mais podem fazer. 5 Eu, porém, vos mostrarei a quem deveis temer: temei aquele que, depois de matar, tem poder para lançar no inferno. Sim, digo-vos, a esse deveis temer. 6 Não se vendem cinco pardais por dois asses? Entretanto, nenhum deles está em esquecimento diante de Deus. 7 Até os cabelos da vossa cabeça estão todos contados. Não temais! Bem mais valeis do que muitos pardais. 8 Digo-vos ainda: todo aquele que me confessar diante dos homens, também o Filho do Homem o confessará diante dos anjos de Deus; 9 mas o que me negar diante dos homens será negado diante dos anjos de Deus. 10 Todo aquele que proferir uma palavra contra o Filho do Homem, isso lhe será perdoado; mas, para o que blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo, não haverá perdão. 11 Quando vos levarem às sinagogas e perante os governadores e as autoridades, não vos preocupeis quanto ao modo por que respondereis, nem quanto às coisas que tiverdes de falar. 12 Porque o Espírito Santo vos ensinará, naquela mesma hora, as coisas que deveis dizer. 13 Nesse ponto, um homem que estava no meio da multidão lhe falou: Mestre, ordena a meu irmão que reparta comigo a herança. 14 Mas Jesus lhe respondeu: Homem, quem me constituiu juiz ou partidor entre vós? 15 Então, lhes recomendou: Tende cuidado e guardai-vos de toda e qualquer avareza; porque a vida de um homem não consiste na abundância dos bens que ele possui. 16 E lhes proferiu ainda uma parábola, dizendo: O campo de um homem rico produziu com abundância. 17 E arrazoava consigo mesmo, dizendo: Que farei, pois não tenho onde recolher os meus frutos? 18 E disse: Farei isto: destruirei os meus celeiros, reconstruí-los-ei maiores e aí recolherei todo o meu produto e todos os meus bens. 19 Então, direi à minha alma: tens em depósito muitos bens para muitos anos; descansa, come, bebe e regala-te. 20 Mas Deus lhe disse: Louco, esta noite te pedirão a tua alma; e o que tens preparado, para quem será? 21 Assim é o que entesoura para si mesmo e não é rico para com Deus. 22 A seguir, dirigiu-se Jesus a seus discípulos, dizendo: Por isso, eu vos advirto: não andeis ansiosos pela vossa vida, quanto ao que haveis de comer, nem pelo vosso corpo, quanto ao que haveis de vestir. 23 Porque a vida é mais do que o alimento, e o corpo, mais do que as vestes. 24 Observai os corvos, os quais não semeiam, nem ceifam, não têm despensa nem celeiros; todavia, Deus os sustenta. Quanto mais valeis do que as aves! 25 Qual de vós, por ansioso que esteja, pode acrescentar um côvado ao curso da sua vida? 26 Se, portanto, nada podeis fazer quanto às coisas mínimas, por que andais ansiosos pelas outras? 27 Observai os lírios; eles não fiam, nem tecem. Eu, contudo, vos afirmo que nem Salomão, em toda a sua glória, se vestiu como qualquer deles. 28 Ora, se Deus veste assim a erva que hoje está no campo e amanhã é lançada no forno, quanto mais tratando-se de vós, homens de pequena fé! 29 Não andeis, pois, a indagar o que haveis de comer ou beber e não vos entregueis a inquietações. 30 Porque os gentios de todo o mundo é que procuram estas coisas; mas vosso Pai sabe que necessitais delas. 31 Buscai, antes de tudo, o seu reino, e estas coisas vos serão acrescentadas. 32 Não temais, ó pequenino rebanho; porque vosso Pai se agradou em dar-vos o seu reino. 33 Vendei os vossos bens e dai esmola; fazei para vós outros bolsas que não desgastem, tesouro inextinguível nos céus, onde não chega o ladrão, nem a traça consome, 34 porque, onde está o vosso tesouro, aí estará também o vosso coração. 35 Cingido esteja o vosso corpo, e acesas, as vossas candeias. 36 Sede vós semelhantes a homens que esperam pelo seu senhor, ao voltar ele das festas de casamento; para que, quando vier e bater à porta, logo lha abram. 37 Bem-aventurados aqueles servos a quem o senhor, quando vier, os encontre vigilantes; em verdade vos afirmo que ele há de cingir-se, dar-lhes lugar à mesa e, aproximando-se, os servirá. 38 Quer ele venha na segunda vigília, quer na terceira, bem-aventurados serão eles, se assim os achar. 39 Sabei, porém, isto: se o pai de família soubesse a que hora havia de vir o ladrão, [vigiaria e] não deixaria arrombar a sua casa. 40 Ficai também vós apercebidos, porque, à hora em que não cuidais, o Filho do Homem virá. 41 Então, Pedro perguntou: Senhor, proferes esta parábola para nós ou também para todos? 42 Disse o Senhor: Quem é, pois, o mordomo fiel e prudente, a quem o senhor confiará os seus conservos para dar-lhes o sustento a seu tempo? 43 Bem-aventurado aquele servo a quem seu senhor, quando vier, achar fazendo assim. 44 Verdadeiramente, vos digo que lhe confiará todos os seus bens. 45 Mas, se aquele servo disser consigo mesmo: Meu senhor tarda em vir, e passar a espancar os criados e as criadas, a comer, a beber e a embriagar-se, 46 virá o senhor daquele servo, em dia em que não o espera e em hora que não sabe, e castigá-lo-á, lançando-lhe a sorte com os infiéis. 47 Aquele servo, porém, que conheceu a vontade de seu senhor e não se aprontou, nem fez segundo a sua vontade será punido com muitos açoites. 48 Aquele, porém, que não soube a vontade do seu senhor e fez coisas dignas de reprovação levará poucos açoites. Mas àquele a quem muito foi dado, muito lhe será exigido; e àquele a quem muito se confia, muito mais lhe pedirão. 49 Eu vim para lançar fogo sobre a terra e bem quisera que já estivesse a arder. 50 Tenho, porém, um batismo com o qual hei de ser batizado; e quanto me angustio até que o mesmo se realize! 51 Supondes que vim para dar paz à terra? Não, eu vo-lo afirmo; antes, divisão. 52 Porque, daqui em diante, estarão cinco divididos numa casa: três contra dois, e dois contra três. 53 Estarão divididos: pai contra filho, filho contra pai; mãe contra filha, filha contra mãe; sogra contra nora, e nora contra sogra. 54 Disse também às multidões: Quando vedes aparecer uma nuvem no poente, logo dizeis que vem chuva, e assim acontece; 55 e, quando vedes soprar o vento sul, dizeis que haverá calor, e assim acontece. 56 Hipócritas, sabeis interpretar o aspecto da terra e do céu e, entretanto, não sabeis discernir esta época? 57 E por que não julgais também por vós mesmos o que é justo? 58 Quando fores com o teu adversário ao magistrado, esforça-te para te livrares desse adversário no caminho; para que não suceda que ele te arraste ao juiz, o juiz te entregue ao meirinho e o meirinho te recolha à prisão. 59 Digo-te que não sairás dali enquanto não pagares o último centavo. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  12 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. 49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! 51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? E de quem é o espírito que fala em ti? 5 A alma dos mortos treme debaixo das águas com seus habitantes. 6 O além está desnudo perante ele, e não há coberta para o abismo. 7 Ele estende o norte sobre o vazio e faz pairar a terra sobre o nada. 8 Prende as águas em densas nuvens, e as nuvens não se rasgam debaixo delas. 9 Encobre a face do seu trono e sobre ele estende a sua nuvem. 10 Traçou um círculo à superfície das águas, até aos confins da luz e das trevas. 11 As colunas do céu tremem e se espantam da sua ameaça. 12 Com a sua força fende o mar e com o seu entendimento abate o adversário. 13 Pelo seu sopro aclara os céus, a sua mão fere o dragão veloz. 14 Eis que isto são apenas as orlas dos seus caminhos! Que leve sussurro temos ouvido dele!
