Ali, morreu Miriã e, ali, foi sepultada. 2 Não havia água para o povo; então, se ajuntaram contra Moisés e contra Arão. 3 E o povo contendeu com Moisés, e disseram: Antes tivéssemos perecido quando expiraram nossos irmãos perante o SENHOR! 4 Por que trouxestes a congregação do SENHOR a este deserto, para morrermos aí, nós e os nossos animais? 5 E por que nos fizestes subir do Egito, para nos trazer a este mau lugar, que não é de cereais, nem de figos, nem de vides, nem de romãs, nem de água para beber? 6 Então, Moisés e Arão se foram de diante do povo para a porta da tenda da congregação e se lançaram sobre o seu rosto; e a glória do SENHOR lhes apareceu. 7 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: 8 Toma o bordão, ajunta o povo, tu e Arão, teu irmão, e, diante dele, falai à rocha, e dará a sua água; assim lhe tirareis água da rocha e dareis a beber à congregação e aos seus animais. 9 Então, Moisés tomou o bordão de diante do SENHOR, como lhe tinha ordenado. 10 Moisés e Arão reuniram o povo diante da rocha, e Moisés lhe disse: Ouvi, agora, rebeldes: porventura, faremos sair água desta rocha para vós outros? 11 Moisés levantou a mão e feriu a rocha duas vezes com o seu bordão, e saíram muitas águas; e bebeu a congregação e os seus animais. 12 Mas o SENHOR disse a Moisés e a Arão: Visto que não crestes em mim, para me santificardes diante dos filhos de Israel, por isso, não fareis entrar este povo na terra que lhe dei. 13 São estas as águas de Meribá, porque os filhos de Israel contenderam com o SENHOR; e o SENHOR se santificou neles. 14 Enviou Moisés, de Cades, mensageiros ao rei de Edom, a dizer-lhe: Assim diz teu irmão Israel: Bem sabes todo o trabalho que nos tem sobrevindo; 15 como nossos pais desceram ao Egito, e nós no Egito habitamos muito tempo, e como os egípcios nos maltrataram, a nós e a nossos pais; 16 e clamamos ao SENHOR, e ele ouviu a nossa voz, e mandou o Anjo, e nos tirou do Egito. E eis que estamos em Cades, cidade nos confins do teu país. 17 Deixa-nos passar pela tua terra; não o faremos pelo campo, nem pelas vinhas, nem beberemos a água dos poços; iremos pela estrada real; não nos desviaremos para a direita nem para a esquerda, até que passemos pelo teu país. 18 Porém Edom lhe disse: Não passarás por mim, para que não saia eu de espada ao teu encontro. 19 Então, os filhos de Israel lhe disseram: Subiremos pelo caminho trilhado, e, se eu e o meu gado bebermos das tuas águas, pagarei o preço delas; outra coisa não desejo senão passar a pé. 20 Porém ele disse: Não passarás. E saiu-lhe Edom ao encontro, com muita gente e com mão forte. 21 Assim recusou Edom deixar passar a Israel pelo seu país; pelo que Israel se desviou dele. 22 Então, partiram de Cades; e os filhos de Israel, toda a congregação, foram ao monte Hor. 23 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão no monte Hor, nos confins da terra de Edom: 24 Arão será recolhido a seu povo, porque não entrará na terra que dei aos filhos de Israel, pois fostes rebeldes à minha palavra, nas águas de Meribá. 25 Toma Arão e Eleazar, seu filho, e faze-os subir ao monte Hor; 26 depois, despe Arão das suas vestes e veste com elas a Eleazar, seu filho; porque Arão será recolhido a seu povo e aí morrerá. 27 Fez Moisés como o SENHOR lhe ordenara; subiram ao monte Hor, perante os olhos de toda a congregação. 28 Moisés, pois, despiu a Arão de suas vestes e vestiu com elas a Eleazar, seu filho; morreu Arão ali sobre o cimo do monte; e dali desceram Moisés e Eleazar. 29 Vendo, pois, toda a congregação que Arão era morto, choraram por Arão trinta dias, isto é, toda a casa de Israel. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  20 Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there. 2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron. 3 And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the Lord! 4 And why have ye brought up the congregation of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there? 5 And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink. 6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them. 7 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. 9 And Moses took the rod from before the Lord, as he commanded him. 10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? 11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. 12 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. 13 This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the Lord, and he was sanctified in them. 14 And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us: 15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers: 16 And when we cried unto the Lord, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of thy border: 17 Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders. 18 And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword. 19 And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing anything else, go through on my feet. 20 And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand. 21 Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him. 22 And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor. 23 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying, 24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah. 25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor: 26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there. 27 And Moses did as the Lord commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. 28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount. 29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Salmos 58 1 Falais verdadeiramente justiça, ó juízes? Julgais com retidão os filhos dos homens? 2 Longe disso; antes, no íntimo engendrais iniqüidades e distribuís na terra a violência de vossas mãos. 3 Desviam-se os ímpios desde a sua concepção; nascem e já se desencaminham, proferindo mentiras. 4 Têm peçonha semelhante à peçonha da serpente; são como a víbora surda, que tapa os ouvidos, 5 para não ouvir a voz dos encantadores, do mais fascinante em encantamentos. 6 Ó Deus, quebra-lhes os dentes na boca; arranca, SENHOR, os queixais aos leõezinhos. 7 Desapareçam como águas que se escoam; ao dispararem flechas, fiquem elas embotadas. 8 Sejam como a lesma, que passa diluindo-se; como o aborto de mulher, não vejam nunca o sol. 9 Como espinheiros, antes que vossas panelas sintam deles o calor, tanto os verdes como os que estão em brasa serão arrebatados como por um redemoinho. 10 Alegrar-se-á o justo quando vir a vingança; banhará os pés no sangue do ímpio. 11 Então, se dirá: Na verdade, há recompensa para o justo; há um Deus, com efeito, que julga na terra. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  58 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men? 2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth. 3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. 4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; 5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely. 6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord. 7 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces. 8 As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun. 9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath. 10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. 11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Salmos 59 1 Livra-me, Deus meu, dos meus inimigos; põe-me acima do alcance dos meus adversários. 2 Livra-me dos que praticam a iniqüidade e salva-me dos homens sanguinários, 3 pois que armam ciladas à minha alma; contra mim se reúnem os fortes, sem transgressão minha, ó SENHOR, ou pecado meu. 4 Sem culpa minha, eles se apressam e investem; desperta, vem ao meu encontro e vê. 5 Tu, SENHOR, Deus dos Exércitos, és o Deus de Israel; desperta, pois, e vem de encontro a todas as nações; não te compadeças de nenhum dos que traiçoeiramente praticam a iniqüidade. 6 Ao anoitecer, uivam como cães, à volta da cidade. 7 Alardeiam de boca; em seus lábios há espadas. Pois dizem eles: Quem há que nos escute? 8 Mas tu, SENHOR, te rirás deles; zombarás de todas as nações. 9 Em ti, força minha, esperarei; pois Deus é meu alto refúgio. 10 Meu Deus virá ao meu encontro com a sua benignidade, Deus me fará ver o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos. 11 Não os mates, para que o meu povo não se esqueça; dispersa-os pelo teu poder e abate-os, ó Senhor, escudo nosso. 12 Pelo pecado de sua boca, pelas palavras dos seus lábios, na sua própria soberba sejam enredados e pela abominação e mentiras que proferem. 13 Consome-os com indignação, consome-os, de sorte que jamais existam e se saiba que reina Deus em Jacó, até aos confins da terra. 14 Ao anoitecer, uivam como cães, à volta da cidade. 15 Vagueiam à procura de comida e, se não se fartam, então, rosnam. 16 Eu, porém, cantarei a tua força; pela manhã louvarei com alegria a tua misericórdia; pois tu me tens sido alto refúgio e proteção no dia da minha angústia. 17 A ti, força minha, cantarei louvores, porque Deus é meu alto refúgio, é o Deus da minha misericórdia. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  59 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me. 2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men. 3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Lord. 4 They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold. 5 Thou therefore, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors.  6 They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city. 7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear? 8 But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. 9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence. 10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies. 11 Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield. 12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak. 13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth.  14 And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city. 15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied. 16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. 17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Isaías 9 1 Mas para a terra que estava aflita não continuará a obscuridade. Deus, nos primeiros tempos, tornou desprezível a terra de Zebulom e a terra de Naftali; mas, nos últimos, tornará glorioso o caminho do mar, além do Jordão, Galiléia dos gentios. 2 O povo que andava em trevas viu grande luz, e aos que viviam na região da sombra da morte, resplandeceu-lhes a luz. 3 Tens multiplicado este povo, a alegria lhe aumentaste; alegram-se eles diante de ti, como se alegram na ceifa e como exultam quando repartem os despojos. 4 Porque tu quebraste o jugo que pesava sobre eles, a vara que lhes feria os ombros e o cetro do seu opressor, como no dia dos midianitas; 5 porque toda bota com que anda o guerreiro no tumulto da batalha e toda veste revolvida em sangue serão queimadas, servirão de pasto ao fogo. 6 Porque um menino nos nasceu, um filho se nos deu; o governo está sobre os seus ombros; e o seu nome será: Maravilhoso Conselheiro, Deus Forte, Pai da Eternidade, Príncipe da Paz; 7 para que se aumente o seu governo, e venha paz sem fim sobre o trono de Davi e sobre o seu reino, para o estabelecer e o firmar mediante o juízo e a justiça, desde agora e para sempre. O zelo do SENHOR dos Exércitos fará isto. 8 O Senhor enviou uma palavra contra Jacó, e ela caiu em Israel. 9 Todo o povo o saberá, Efraim e os moradores de Samaria, que em soberba e altivez de coração dizem: 10 Os tijolos ruíram por terra, mas tornaremos a edificar com pedras lavradas; cortaram-se os sicômoros, mas por cedros os substituiremos. 11 Portanto, o SENHOR suscita contra ele os adversários de Rezim e instiga os inimigos. 12 Do Oriente vêm os siros, do Ocidente, os filisteus e devoram a Israel à boca escancarada. Com tudo isto, não se aparta a sua ira, e a mão dele continua ainda estendida. 13 Todavia, este povo não se voltou para quem o fere, nem busca ao SENHOR dos Exércitos. 14 Pelo que o SENHOR corta de Israel a cabeça e a cauda, a palma e o junco, num mesmo dia. 15 O ancião, o homem de respeito, é a cabeça; o profeta que ensina a mentira é a cauda. 16 Porque os guias deste povo são enganadores, e os que por eles são dirigidos são devorados. 17 Pelo que o Senhor não se regozija com os jovens dele e não se compadece dos seus órfãos e das suas viúvas, porque todos eles são ímpios e malfazejos, e toda boca profere doidices. Com tudo isto, não se aparta a sua ira, e a mão dele continua ainda estendida. 18 Porque a maldade lavra como um fogo, ela devora os espinheiros e os abrolhos; acende as brenhas do bosque, e estas sobem em espessas nuvens de fumaça. 19 Por causa da ira do SENHOR dos Exércitos, a terra está abrasada, e o povo é pasto do fogo; ninguém poupa a seu irmão. 20 Abocanha à direita e ainda tem fome, devora à esquerda e não se farta; cada um come a carne do seu próximo: 21 Manassés ataca a Efraim, e Efraim ataca a Manassés, e ambos, juntos, atacam a Judá. Com tudo isto, não se aparta a sua ira, e a mão dele continua ainda estendida. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  9 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. 2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. 4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. 5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. 8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. 9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart, 10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. 11 Therefore the Lord shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together; 12 The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. 13 For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the Lord of hosts. 14 Therefore the Lord will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. 15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. 16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. 17 Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. 18 For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. 19 Through the wrath of the Lord of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother. 20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm: 21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Observações por Blog Heavenly Heavenly É necessário vencermos o mal, com o bem. É necessário que sejamos luz. É necessário prática da Palavra do Senhor Deus vivo, a fim de que sejamos, por Ele mesmo, confirmados, por causa tão somente, do Senhor Jesus. Por isso, o conhecimento, apenas o conhecimento da Sua Palavra não é o suficiente, para aquele que realmente quer e busca usufruir desta justificação, que nos permite viver dignamente.  Gostaria de ressaltar especialmente estes versículos 1 e 2, de Números 20, que mostram que o espírito de murmuração é como se fosse um vírus de uma gripe que acomete o organismo que encontra-se com imunidade insuficiente. Se, em tempo oportuno o organismo recebe os nutrientes necessários ao combate deste vírus, então o organismo é restabelecido, tornando ao seu equilíbrio.  Observemos ainda, estas verdades: 2 O povo que andava em trevas viu grande luz, e aos que viviam na região da sombra da morte, resplandeceu-lhes a luz. [Isaías 9:2]. Ou seja, se estamos com Ele, os nossos inimigos são os inimigos d'Ele. E se Ele é por nós, seremos os verdadeiros vencedores, que são os que permanecem salvos. E iremos prosseguir, de força em força e de fé em fé, para a Sua glória, porque a alegria do Senhor Deus é a nossa força e a nossa vitória é a Sua glória, que aparece em nós, pelo amor do Seu Nome. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  "1 Chegando os filhos de Israel, toda a congregação, ao deserto de Zim, no mês primeiro, o povo ficou em Cades. este a tirará para fora do arraial, e será imolada diante dele. 4 Eleazar, o sacerdote, tomará do sangue com o dedo e dele aspergirá para a frente da tenda da congregação sete vezes. 5 À vista dele, será queimada a novilha; o couro, a carne, o sangue e o excremento, tudo se queimará. 6 E o sacerdote, tomando pau de cedro, hissopo e estofo carmesim, os lançará no meio do fogo que queima a novilha. 7 Então, o sacerdote lavará as vestes, e banhará o seu corpo em água, e, depois, entrará no arraial, e será imundo até à tarde. 8 Também o que a queimou lavará as suas vestes com água, e em água banhará o seu corpo, e imundo será até à tarde. 9 Um homem limpo ajuntará a cinza da novilha e a depositará fora do arraial, num lugar limpo, e será ela guardada para a congregação dos filhos de Israel, para a água purificadora; é oferta pelo pecado. 10 O que apanhou a cinza da novilha lavará as vestes e será imundo até à tarde; isto será por estatuto perpétuo aos filhos de Israel e ao estrangeiro que habita no meio deles. 11 Aquele que tocar em algum morto, cadáver de algum homem, imundo será sete dias. 12 Ao terceiro dia e ao sétimo dia, se purificará com esta água e será limpo; mas, se ao terceiro dia e ao sétimo não se purificar, não será limpo. 13 Todo aquele que tocar em algum morto, cadáver de algum homem, e não se purificar, contamina o tabernáculo do SENHOR; essa pessoa será eliminada de Israel; porque a água purificadora não foi aspergida sobre ele, imundo será; está nele ainda a sua imundícia. 14 Esta é a lei quando morrer algum homem em alguma tenda: todo aquele que entrar nessa tenda e todo aquele que nela estiver serão imundos sete dias. 15 Também todo vaso aberto, sobre que não houver tampa amarrada, será imundo. 16 Todo aquele que, no campo aberto, tocar em alguém que for morto pela espada, ou em outro morto, ou nos ossos de algum homem, ou numa sepultura será imundo sete dias. 17 Para o imundo, pois, tomarão da cinza da queima da oferta pelo pecado e sobre esta cinza porão água corrente, num vaso. 18 Um homem limpo tomará hissopo, e o molhará naquela água, e a aspergirá sobre aquela tenda, e sobre todo utensílio, e sobre as pessoas que ali estiverem; como também sobre aquele que tocar nos ossos, ou em alguém que foi morto, ou que faleceu, ou numa sepultura. 19 O limpo aspergirá sobre o imundo ao terceiro e sétimo dias; purificá-lo-á ao sétimo dia; e aquele que era imundo lavará as suas vestes, e se banhará na água, e à tarde será limpo. 20 No entanto, quem estiver imundo e não se purificar, esse será eliminado do meio da congregação, porquanto contaminou o santuário do SENHOR; água purificadora sobre ele não foi aspergida; é imundo. 21 Isto lhes será por estatuto perpétuo; e o que aspergir a água purificadora lavará as suas vestes, e o que tocar a água purificadora será imundo até à tarde. 22 Tudo o que o imundo tocar também será imundo;
