Deuteronômio 6
1 Estes, pois, são os mandamentos, os estatutos e os juízos que mandou o SENHOR, teu Deus, se te ensinassem, para que os cumprisses na terra a que passas para a possuir;
2 para que temas ao SENHOR, teu Deus, e guardes todos os seus estatutos e mandamentos que eu te ordeno, tu, e teu filho, e o filho de teu filho, todos os dias da tua vida; e que teus dias sejam prolongados.
3 Ouve, pois, ó Israel, e atenta em os cumprires, para que bem te suceda, e muito te multipliques na terra que mana leite e mel, como te disse o SENHOR, Deus de teus pais.
4 Ouve, Israel, o SENHOR, nosso Deus, é o único SENHOR.
5 Amarás, pois, o SENHOR, teu Deus, de todo o teu coração, de toda a tua alma e de toda a tua força.
6 Estas palavras que, hoje, te ordeno estarão no teu coração;
7 tu as inculcarás a teus filhos, e delas falarás assentado em tua casa, e andando pelo caminho, e ao deitar-te, e ao levantar-te.
8 Também as atarás como sinal na tua mão, e te serão por frontal entre os olhos.
9 E as escreverás nos umbrais de tua casa e nas tuas portas.
10 Havendo-te, pois, o SENHOR, teu Deus, introduzido na terra que, sob juramento, prometeu a teus pais, Abraão, Isaque e Jacó, te daria, grandes e boas cidades, que tu não edificaste;
11 e casas cheias de tudo o que é bom, casas que não encheste; e poços abertos, que não abriste; vinhais e olivais, que não plantaste; e, quando comeres e te fartares,
12 guarda-te, para que não esqueças o SENHOR, que te tirou da terra do Egito, da casa da servidão.
13 O SENHOR, teu Deus, temerás, a ele servirás, e, pelo seu nome, jurarás.
14 Não seguirás outros deuses, nenhum dos deuses dos povos que houver à roda de ti,
15 porque o SENHOR, teu Deus, é Deus zeloso no meio de ti, para que a ira do SENHOR, teu Deus, se não acenda contra ti e te destrua de sobre a face da terra.
16 Não tentarás o SENHOR, teu Deus, como o tentaste em Massá.
17 Diligentemente, guardarás os mandamentos do SENHOR, teu Deus, e os seus testemunhos, e os seus estatutos que te ordenou.
18 Farás o que é reto e bom aos olhos do SENHOR, para que bem te suceda, e entres, e possuas a boa terra a qual o SENHOR, sob juramento, prometeu dar a teus pais,
19 lançando todos os teus inimigos de diante de ti, como o SENHOR tem dito.
20 Quando teu filho, no futuro, te perguntar, dizendo: Que significam os testemunhos, e estatutos, e juízos que o SENHOR, nosso Deus, vos ordenou?
21 Então, dirás a teu filho: Éramos servos de Faraó, no Egito; porém o SENHOR de lá nos tirou com poderosa mão.
22 Aos nossos olhos fez o SENHOR sinais e maravilhas, grandes e terríveis, contra o Egito e contra Faraó e toda a sua casa;
23 e dali nos tirou, para nos levar e nos dar a terra que sob juramento prometeu a nossos pais.
24 O SENHOR nos ordenou cumpríssemos todos estes estatutos e temêssemos o SENHOR, nosso Deus, para o nosso perpétuo bem, para nos guardar em vida, como tem feito até hoje.
25 Será por nós justiça, quando tivermos cuidado de cumprir todos estes mandamentos perante o SENHOR, nosso Deus, como nos tem ordenado.
6 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: 2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. 3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: 5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. 10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; 12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 13 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. 14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; 15 (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth. 16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah. 17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. 18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers. 19 To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken. 20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord our God hath commanded you? 21 Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand: 22 And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes: 23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers. 24 And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. 25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.

1 Cantarei para sempre as tuas misericórdias, ó SENHOR; os meus lábios proclamarão a todas as gerações a tua fidelidade.
2 Pois disse eu: a benignidade está fundada para sempre; a tua fidelidade, tu a confirmarás nos céus, dizendo:
3 Fiz aliança com o meu escolhido e jurei a Davi, meu servo:
4 Para sempre estabelecerei a tua posteridade e firmarei o teu trono de geração em geração.
5 Celebram os céus as tuas maravilhas, ó SENHOR, e, na assembléia dos santos, a tua fidelidade.
6 Pois quem nos céus é comparável ao SENHOR? Entre os seres celestiais, quem é semelhante ao SENHOR?
7 Deus é sobremodo tremendo na assembléia dos santos e temível sobre todos os que o rodeiam.
8 Ó SENHOR, Deus dos Exércitos, quem é poderoso como tu és, SENHOR, com a tua fidelidade ao redor de ti?!
9 Dominas a fúria do mar; quando as suas ondas se levantam, tu as amainas.
10 Calcaste a Raabe, como um ferido de morte; com o teu poderoso braço dispersaste os teus inimigos.
11 Teus são os céus, tua, a terra; o mundo e a sua plenitude, tu os fundaste.
12 O Norte e o Sul, tu os criaste; o Tabor e o Hermom exultam em teu nome.
13 O teu braço é armado de poder, forte é a tua mão, e elevada, a tua destra.
14 Justiça e direito são o fundamento do teu trono; graça e verdade te precedem.
15 Bem-aventurado o povo que conhece os vivas de júbilo, que anda, ó SENHOR, na luz da tua presença.
16 Em teu nome, de contínuo se alegra e na tua justiça se exalta,
17 porquanto tu és a glória de sua força; no teu favor avulta o nosso poder.
18 Pois ao SENHOR pertence o nosso escudo, e ao Santo de Israel, o nosso rei.
19 Outrora, falaste em visão aos teus santos e disseste: A um herói concedi o poder de socorrer; do meio do povo, exaltei um escolhido.
20 Encontrei Davi, meu servo; com o meu santo óleo o ungi.
21 A minha mão será firme com ele, o meu braço o fortalecerá.
22 O inimigo jamais o surpreenderá, nem o há de afligir o filho da perversidade.
23 Esmagarei diante dele os seus adversários e ferirei os que o odeiam.
24 A minha fidelidade e a minha bondade o hão de acompanhar, e em meu nome crescerá o seu poder.
25 Porei a sua mão sobre o mar e a sua direita, sobre os rios.
26 Ele me invocará, dizendo: Tu és meu pai, meu Deus e a rocha da minha salvação.
27 Fá-lo-ei, por isso, meu primogênito, o mais elevado entre os reis da terra.
28 Conservar-lhe-ei para sempre a minha graça e, firme com ele, a minha aliança.
29 Farei durar para sempre a sua descendência; e, o seu trono, como os dias do céu.
30 Se os seus filhos desprezarem a minha lei e não andarem nos meus juízos,
31 se violarem os meus preceitos e não guardarem os meus mandamentos,
32 então, punirei com vara as suas transgressões e com açoites, a sua iniquidade.
33 Mas jamais retirarei dele a minha bondade, nem desmentirei a minha fidelidade.
34 Não violarei a minha aliança, nem modificarei o que os meus lábios proferiram.
35 Uma vez jurei por minha santidade (e serei eu falso a Davi?):
36 A sua posteridade durará para sempre, e o seu trono, como o sol perante mim.
37 Ele será estabelecido para sempre como a lua e fiel como a testemunha no espaço.
38 Tu, porém, o repudiaste e o rejeitaste; e te indignaste com o teu ungido.
39 Aborreceste a aliança com o teu servo; profanaste-lhe a coroa, arrojando-a para a terra.
40 Arrasaste os seus muros todos; reduziste a ruínas as suas fortificações.
41 Despojam-no todos os que passam pelo caminho; e os vizinhos o escarnecem.
42 Exaltaste a destra dos seus adversários e deste regozijo a todos os seus inimigos.
43 Também viraste o fio da sua espada e não o sustentaste na batalha.
44 Fizeste cessar o seu esplendor e deitaste por terra o seu trono.
45 Abreviaste os dias da sua mocidade e o cobriste de ignomínia.
46 Até quando, SENHOR? Esconder-te-ás para sempre? Arderá a tua ira como fogo?
47 Lembra-te de como é breve a minha existência! Pois criarias em vão todos os filhos dos homens!
48 Que homem há, que viva e não veja a morte? Ou que livre a sua alma das garras do sepulcro?
49 Que é feito, Senhor, das tuas benignidades de outrora, juradas a Davi por tua fidelidade?
50 Lembra-te, Senhor, do opróbrio dos teus servos e de como trago no peito a injúria de muitos povos,
51 com que, SENHOR, os teus inimigos têm vilipendiado, sim, vilipendiado os passos do teu ungido.
52 Bendito seja o SENHOR para sempre! Amém e amém!
89 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

1 Chegai-vos, nações, para ouvir, e vós, povos, escutai; ouça a terra e a sua plenitude, o mundo e tudo quanto produz.
2 Porque a indignação do SENHOR está contra todas as nações, e o seu furor, contra todo o exército delas; ele as destinou para a destruição e as entregou à matança.
3 Os seus mortos serão lançados fora, dos seus cadáveres subirá o mau cheiro, e do sangue deles os montes se inundarão.
4 Todo o exército dos céus se dissolverá, e os céus se enrolarão como um pergaminho; todo o seu exército cairá, como cai a folha da vide e a folha da figueira.
5 Porque a minha espada se embriagou nos céus; eis que, para exercer juízo, desce sobre Edom e sobre o povo que destinei para a destruição.
6 A espada do SENHOR está cheia de sangue, engrossada da gordura e do sangue de cordeiros e de bodes, da gordura dos rins de carneiros; porque o SENHOR tem sacrifício em Bozra e grande matança na terra de Edom.
7 Os bois selvagens cairão com eles, e os novilhos, com os touros; a sua terra se embriagará de sangue, e o seu pó se tornará fértil com a gordura.
8 Porque será o dia da vingança do SENHOR, ano de retribuições pela causa de Sião.
9 Os ribeiros de Edom se transformarão em piche, e o seu pó, em enxofre; a sua terra se tornará em piche ardente.
10 Nem de noite nem de dia se apagará; subirá para sempre a sua fumaça; de geração em geração será assolada, e para todo o sempre ninguém passará por ela.
11 Mas o pelicano e o ouriço a possuirão; o bufo e o corvo habitarão nela. Estender-se-á sobre ela o cordel de destruição e o prumo de ruína.
12 Já não haverá nobres para proclamarem um rei; os seus príncipes já não existem.
13 Nos seus palácios, crescerão espinhos, e urtigas e cardos, nas suas fortalezas; será uma habitação de chacais e morada de avestruzes.
14 As feras do deserto se encontrarão com as hienas, e os sátiros clamarão uns para os outros; fantasmas ali pousarão e acharão para si lugar de repouso.
15 Aninhar-se-á ali a coruja, e porá os seus ovos, e os chocará, e na sombra abrigará os seus filhotes; também ali os abutres se ajuntarão, um com o outro.
16 Buscai no livro do SENHOR e lede: Nenhuma destas criaturas falhará, nem uma nem outra faltará; porque a boca do SENHOR o ordenou, e o seu Espírito mesmo as ajuntará.
17 Porque ele lançou as sortes a favor delas, e a sua mão lhes repartiu a terra com o cordel; para sempre a possuirão, através de gerações habitarão nela.

1 Chamou Moisés a todo o Israel e disse-lhe: Ouvi, ó Israel, os estatutos e juízos que hoje vos falo aos ouvidos, para que os aprendais e cuideis em os cumprirdes.
2 O SENHOR, nosso Deus, fez aliança conosco em Horebe.
3 Não foi com nossos pais que fez o SENHOR esta aliança, e sim conosco, todos os que, hoje, aqui estamos vivos.
4 Face a face falou o SENHOR conosco, no monte, do meio do fogo
5 (Nesse tempo, eu estava em pé entre o SENHOR e vós, para vos notificar a palavra do SENHOR, porque temestes o fogo e não subistes ao monte.), dizendo:
6 Eu sou o SENHOR, teu Deus, que te tirei do Egito, da casa da servidão.
7 Não terás outros deuses diante de mim.
8 Não farás para ti imagem de escultura, nem semelhança alguma do que há em cima no céu, nem embaixo na terra, nem nas águas debaixo da terra;
9 não as adorarás, nem lhes darás culto; porque eu, o SENHOR, teu Deus, sou Deus zeloso, que visito a iniquidade dos pais nos filhos até a terceira e quarta geração daqueles que me aborrecem,

14 Mas o sétimo dia é o sábado do SENHOR, teu Deus; não farás nenhum trabalho, nem tu, nem o teu filho, nem a tua filha, nem o teu servo, nem a tua serva, nem o teu boi, nem o teu jumento, nem animal algum teu, nem o estrangeiro das tuas portas para dentro, para que o teu servo e a tua serva descansem como tu;
15 porque te lembrarás que foste servo na terra do Egito e que o SENHOR, teu Deus, te tirou dali com mão poderosa e braço estendido; pelo que o SENHOR, teu Deus, te ordenou que guardasses o dia de sábado.
16 Honra a teu pai e a tua mãe, como o SENHOR, teu Deus, te ordenou, para que se prolonguem os teus dias e para que te vá bem na terra que o SENHOR, teu Deus, te dá.
17 Não matarás.
18 Não adulterarás.
19 Não furtarás.
20 Não dirás falso testemunho contra o teu próximo.
21 Não cobiçarás a mulher do teu próximo. Não desejarás a casa do teu próximo, nem o seu campo, nem o seu servo, nem a sua serva, nem o seu boi, nem o seu jumento, nem coisa alguma do teu próximo.
22 Estas palavras falou o SENHOR a toda a vossa congregação no monte, do meio do fogo, da nuvem e da escuridade, com grande voz, e nada acrescentou. Tendo-as escrito em duas tábuas de pedra, deu-mas a mim.
23 Sucedeu que, ouvindo a voz do meio das trevas, enquanto ardia o monte em fogo, vos achegastes a mim, todos os cabeças das vossas tribos e vossos anciãos,
24 e dissestes: Eis aqui o SENHOR, nosso Deus, nos fez ver a sua glória e a sua grandeza, e ouvimos a sua voz do meio do fogo; hoje, vimos que Deus fala com o homem, e este permanece vivo.
25 Agora, pois, por que morreríamos? Pois este grande fogo nos consumiria; se ainda mais ouvíssemos a voz do SENHOR, nosso Deus, morreríamos.
26 Porque quem há, de toda carne, que tenha ouvido a voz do Deus vivo falar do meio do fogo, como nós ouvimos, e permanecido vivo?
27 Chega-te, e ouve tudo o que disser o SENHOR, nosso Deus; e tu nos dirás tudo o que te disser o SENHOR, nosso Deus, e o ouviremos, e o cumpriremos.
28 Ouvindo, pois, o SENHOR as vossas palavras, quando me faláveis a mim, o SENHOR me disse: Eu ouvi as palavras deste povo, as quais te disseram; em tudo falaram eles bem.
29 Quem dera que eles tivessem tal coração, que me temessem e guardassem em todo o tempo todos os meus mandamentos, para que bem lhes fosse a eles e a seus filhos, para sempre!
30 Vai, dize-lhes: Tornai-vos às vossas tendas.
31 Tu, porém, fica-te aqui comigo, e eu te direi todos os mandamentos, e estatutos, e juízos que tu lhes hás de ensinar que cumpram na terra que eu lhes darei para possuí-la.
32 Cuidareis em fazerdes como vos mandou o SENHOR, vosso Deus; não vos desviareis, nem para a direita, nem para a esquerda.
33 Andareis em todo o caminho que vos manda o SENHOR, vosso Deus, para que vivais, bem vos suceda, e prolongueis os dias na terra que haveis de possuir.
5 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. 4 The Lord talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, 5 (I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to shew you the word of the Lord: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 6 I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me. 8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: 9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, 10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. 11 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. 13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. 15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. 16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 17 Thou shalt not kill. 18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery. 19 Neither shalt thou steal. 20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour. 21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's. 22 These words the Lord spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. 23 And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; 24 And ye said, Behold, the Lord our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. 25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, then we shall die. 26 For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? 27 Go thou near, and hear all that the Lord our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the Lord our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. 28 And the Lord heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the Lord said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. 29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! 30 Go say to them, Get you into your tents again. 31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. 32 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. 33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.

Salmos 88
1 Ó SENHOR, Deus da minha salvação, dia e noite clamo diante de ti.
2 Chegue à tua presença a minha oração, inclina os ouvidos ao meu clamor.
3 Pois a minha alma está farta de males, e a minha vida já se abeira da morte.
4 Sou contado com os que baixam à cova; sou como um homem sem força,
5 atirado entre os mortos; como os feridos de morte que jazem na sepultura, dos quais já não te lembras; são desamparados de tuas mãos.
6 Puseste-me na mais profunda cova, nos lugares tenebrosos, nos abismos.
7 Sobre mim pesa a tua ira; tu me abates com todas as tuas ondas.
8 Apartaste de mim os meus conhecidos e me fizeste objeto de abominação para com eles; estou preso e não vejo como sair.
9 Os meus olhos desfalecem de aflição; dia após dia, venho clamando a ti, SENHOR, e te levanto as minhas mãos.
10 Mostrarás tu prodígios aos mortos ou os finados se levantarão para te louvar?
11 Será referida a tua bondade na sepultura? A tua fidelidade, nos abismos?
12 Acaso, nas trevas se manifestam as tuas maravilhas? E a tua justiça, na terra do esquecimento?
13 Mas eu, SENHOR, clamo a ti por socorro, e antemanhã já se antecipa diante de ti a minha oração.
14 Por que rejeitas, SENHOR, a minha alma e ocultas de mim o rosto?
15 Ando aflito e prestes a expirar desde moço; sob o peso dos teus terrores, estou desorientado.
16 Por sobre mim passaram as tuas iras, os teus terrores deram cabo de mim.
17 Eles me rodeiam como água, de contínuo; a um tempo me circundam.
18 Para longe de mim afastaste amigo e companheiro; os meus conhecidos são trevas.
88 O lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:
2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.
4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
5 Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.
7 Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves.
8 Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
9 Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: Lord, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee?
11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?
12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13 But unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
14 Lord, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?
15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
16 Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.

Isaías 33
1 Ai de ti, destruidor que não foste destruído, que procedes perfidamente e não foste tratado com perfídia! Acabando tu de destruir, serás destruído, acabando de tratar perfidamente, serás tratado com perfídia.
2 SENHOR, tem misericórdia de nós; em ti temos esperado; sê tu o nosso braço manhã após manhã e a nossa salvação no tempo da angústia.
3 Ao ruído do tumulto, fogem os povos; quando tu te ergues, as nações são dispersas.
4 Então, ajuntar-se-á o vosso despojo como se ajuntam as lagartas; como os gafanhotos saltam, assim os homens saltarão sobre ele.
5 O SENHOR é sublime, pois habita nas alturas; encheu a Sião de direito e de justiça.
6 Haverá, ó Sião, estabilidade nos teus tempos, abundância de salvação, sabedoria e conhecimento; o temor do SENHOR será o teu tesouro.
7 Eis que os heróis pranteiam de fora, e os mensageiros de paz estão chorando amargamente.
8 As estradas estão desoladas, cessam os que passam por elas; rompem-se as alianças, as cidades são desprezadas, já não se faz caso do homem.
9 A terra geme e desfalece; o Líbano se envergonha e se murcha; Sarom se torna como um deserto, Basã e Carmelo são despidos de suas folhas.
10 Agora, me levantarei, diz o SENHOR; levantar-me-ei a mim mesmo; agora, serei exaltado.
11 Concebestes palha, dareis à luz restolho; o vosso bufo enfurecido é fogo que vos há de devorar.
12 Os povos serão queimados como se queima a cal; como espinhos cortados, arderão no fogo.
13 Ouvi vós, os que estais longe, o que tenho feito; e vós, os que estais perto, reconhecei o meu poder.
14 Os pecadores em Sião se assombram, o tremor se apodera dos ímpios; e eles perguntam: Quem dentre nós habitará com o fogo devorador? Quem dentre nós habitará com chamas eternas?
15 O que anda em justiça e fala o que é reto; o que despreza o ganho de opressão; o que, com um gesto de mãos, recusa aceitar suborno; o que tapa os ouvidos, para não ouvir falar de homicídios, e fecha os olhos, para não ver o mal,
16 este habitará nas alturas; as fortalezas das rochas serão o seu alto refúgio, o seu pão lhe será dado, as suas águas serão certas.
17 Os teus olhos verão o rei na sua formosura, verão a terra que se estende até longe.
18 O teu coração se recordará dos terrores, dizendo: Onde está aquele que registrou, onde, o que pesou o tributo, onde, o que contou as torres?
19 Já não verás aquele povo atrevido, povo de fala obscura, que não se pode entender, e de língua bárbara, ininteligível.
20 Olha para Sião, a cidade das nossas solenidades; os teus olhos verão a Jerusalém, habitação tranquila, tenda que não será removida, cujas estacas nunca serão arrancadas, nem rebentada nenhuma de suas cordas.
21 Mas o SENHOR ali nos será grandioso, fará as vezes de rios e correntes largas; barco nenhum de remo passará por eles, navio grande por eles não navegará.
22 Porque o SENHOR é o nosso juiz, o SENHOR é o nosso legislador, o SENHOR é o nosso Rei; ele nos salvará.
23 Agora, as tuas enxárcias estão frouxas; não podem ter firme o mastro, nem estender a vela. Então, se repartirá a presa de abundantes despojos; até os coxos participarão dela.
24 Nenhum morador de Jerusalém dirá: Estou doente; porque ao povo que habita nela, perdoar-se-lhe-á a sua iniquidade.
33 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee. 2 O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. 3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered. 4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them. 5 The Lord is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness. 6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure. 7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly. 8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man. 9 The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits. 10 Now will I rise, saith the Lord; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself. 11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you. 12 And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire. 13 Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might. 14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? 15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; 16 He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. 17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. 18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers? 19 Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand. 20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. 21 But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. 22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us. 23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey. 24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

O Senhor Jesus é a ressurreição e a vida.Muitas pessoas, mas muitas pessoas mesmo..Vivem de falar palavras de fé, mas sem agir a própria fé. Estas pessoas são perseverantes em suas orações, mas as suas orações estão vazias do Espírito da vida. Estas pessoas afirmam que são pessoas de DEUS e de fé, mas sem veracidade, alguma.
Jamais suceda-nos, exprimir linguagem totalmente impossível de entender. A linguagem do orgulho, a linguagem dos servos que vivem de servir a si mesmos.
