Ela lhe disse: Vai, minha filha! 3 Ela se foi, chegou ao campo e apanhava após os segadores; por casualidade entrou na parte que pertencia a Boaz, o qual era da família de Elimeleque. 4 Eis que Boaz veio de Belém e disse aos segadores: O SENHOR seja convosco! Responderam-lhe eles: O SENHOR te abençoe! 5 Depois, perguntou Boaz ao servo encarregado dos segadores: De quem é esta moça? 6 Respondeu-lhe o servo: Esta é a moça moabita que veio com Noemi da terra de Moabe. 7 Disse-me ela: Deixa-me rebuscar espigas e ajuntá-las entre as gavelas após os segadores. Assim, ela veio; desde pela manhã até agora está aqui, menos um pouco que esteve na choça. 8 Então, disse Boaz a Rute: Ouve, filha minha, não vás colher em outro campo, nem tampouco passes daqui; porém aqui ficarás com as minhas servas. 9 Estarás atenta ao campo que segarem e irás após elas. Não dei ordem aos servos, que te não toquem? Quando tiveres sede, vai às vasilhas e bebe do que os servos tiraram. 10 Então, ela, inclinando-se, rosto em terra, lhe disse: Como é que me favoreces e fazes caso de mim, sendo eu estrangeira? 11 Respondeu Boaz e lhe disse: Bem me contaram tudo quanto fizeste a tua sogra, depois da morte de teu marido, e como deixaste a teu pai, e a tua mãe, e a terra onde nasceste e vieste para um povo que dantes não conhecias. 12 O SENHOR retribua o teu feito, e seja cumprida a tua recompensa do SENHOR, Deus de Israel, sob cujas asas vieste buscar refúgio. 13 Disse ela: Tu me favoreces muito, senhor meu, pois me consolaste e falaste ao coração de tua serva, não sendo eu nem ainda como uma das tuas servas. 14 À hora de comer, Boaz lhe disse: Achega-te para aqui, e come do pão, e molha no vinho o teu bocado. Ela se assentou ao lado dos segadores, e ele lhe deu grãos tostados de cereais; ela comeu e se fartou, e ainda lhe sobejou. 15 Levantando-se ela para rebuscar, Boaz deu ordem aos seus servos, dizendo: Até entre as gavelas deixai-a colher e não a censureis. 16 Tirai também dos molhos algumas espigas, e deixai-as, para que as apanhe, e não a repreendais. 17 Esteve ela apanhando naquele campo até à tarde; debulhou o que apanhara, e foi quase um efa de cevada. 18 Tomou-o e veio à cidade; e viu sua sogra o que havia apanhado; também o que lhe sobejara depois de fartar-se tirou e deu a sua sogra. 19 Então, lhe disse a sogra: Onde colheste hoje? Onde trabalhaste? Bendito seja aquele que te acolheu favoravelmente! E Rute contou a sua sogra onde havia trabalhado e disse: O nome do senhor, em cujo campo trabalhei, é Boaz. 20 Então, Noemi disse a sua nora: Bendito seja ele do SENHOR, que ainda não tem deixado a sua benevolência nem para com os vivos nem para com os mortos. Disse-lhe mais Noemi: Esse homem é nosso parente chegado e um dentre os nossos resgatadores. 21 Continuou Rute, a moabita: Também ainda me disse: Com os meus servos ficarás, até que acabem toda a sega que tenho. 22 Disse Noemi a sua nora, Rute: Bom será, filha minha, que saias com as servas dele, para que, noutro campo, não te molestem. 23 Assim, passou ela à companhia das servas de Boaz, para colher, até que a sega da cevada e do trigo se acabou; e ficou com a sua sogra. https://www.biblegateway.com/ audio/dramatized/kjv/Ruth.2 ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  2 And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz. 2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter. 3 And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech. 4 And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said unto the reapers, The Lord be with you. And they answered him, The Lord bless thee. 5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this? 6 And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab: 7 And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house. 8 Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: 9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn. 10 Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? 11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. 12 The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust. 13 Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens. 14 And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left. 15 And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not: 16 And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not. 17 So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley. 18 And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed. 19 And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz. 20 And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the Lord, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen. 21 And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest. 22 And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field. 23 So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Atos 27 1 Quando foi decidido que navegássemos para a Itália, entregaram Paulo e alguns outros presos a um centurião chamado Júlio, da Coorte Imperial. 2 Embarcando num navio adramitino, que estava de partida para costear a Ásia, fizemo-nos ao mar, indo conosco Aristarco, macedônio de Tessalônica. 3 No dia seguinte, chegamos a Sidom, e Júlio, tratando Paulo com humanidade, permitiu-lhe ir ver os amigos e obter assistência. 4 Partindo dali, navegamos sob a proteção de Chipre, por serem contrários os ventos; 5 e, tendo atravessado o mar ao longo da Cilícia e Panfília, chegamos a Mirra, na Lícia. 6 Achando ali o centurião um navio de Alexandria, que estava de partida para a Itália, nele nos fez embarcar. 7 Navegando vagarosamente muitos dias e tendo chegado com dificuldade defronte de Cnido, não nos sendo permitido prosseguir, por causa do vento contrário, navegamos sob a proteção de Creta, na altura de Salmona. 8 Costeando-a, penosamente, chegamos a um lugar chamado Bons Portos, perto do qual estava a cidade de Laséia. 9 Depois de muito tempo, tendo-se tornado a navegação perigosa, e já passado o tempo do Dia do Jejum, admoestava-os Paulo, 10 dizendo-lhes: Senhores, vejo que a viagem vai ser trabalhosa, com dano e muito prejuízo, não só da carga e do navio, mas também da nossa vida. 11 Mas o centurião dava mais crédito ao piloto e ao mestre do navio do que ao que Paulo dizia. 12 Não sendo o porto próprio para invernar, a maioria deles era de opinião que partissem dali, para ver se podiam chegar a Fenice e aí passar o inverno, visto ser um porto de Creta, o qual olhava para o nordeste e para o sudeste. 13 Soprando brandamente o vento sul, e pensando eles ter alcançado o que desejavam, levantaram âncora e foram costeando mais de perto a ilha de Creta. 14 Entretanto, não muito depois, desencadeou-se, do lado da ilha, um tufão de vento, chamado Euroaquilão; 15 e, sendo o navio arrastado com violência, sem poder resistir ao vento, cessamos a manobra e nos fomos deixando levar. 16 Passando sob a proteção de uma ilhota chamada Cauda, a custo conseguimos recolher o bote; 17 e, levantando este, usaram de todos os meios para cingir o navio, e, temendo que dessem na Sirte, arriaram os aparelhos, e foram ao léu. 18 Açoitados severamente pela tormenta, no dia seguinte, já aliviavam o navio. 19 E, ao terceiro dia, nós mesmos, com as próprias mãos, lançamos ao mar a armação do navio. 20 E, não aparecendo, havia já alguns dias, nem sol nem estrelas, caindo sobre nós grande tempestade, dissipou-se, afinal, toda a esperança de salvamento. 21 Havendo todos estado muito tempo sem comer, Paulo, pondo-se em pé no meio deles, disse: Senhores, na verdade, era preciso terem-me atendido e não partir de Creta, para evitar este dano e perda. 22 Mas, já agora, vos aconselho bom ânimo, porque nenhuma vida se perderá de entre vós, mas somente o navio. 23 Porque, esta mesma noite, um anjo de Deus, de quem eu sou e a quem sirvo, esteve comigo, 24 dizendo: Paulo, não temas! É preciso que compareças perante César, e eis que Deus, por sua graça, te deu todos quantos navegam contigo. 25 Portanto, senhores, tende bom ânimo! Pois eu confio em Deus que sucederá do modo por que me foi dito. 26 Porém é necessário que vamos dar a uma ilha. 27 Quando chegou a décima quarta noite, sendo nós batidos de um lado para outro no mar Adriático, por volta da meia-noite, pressentiram os marinheiros que se aproximavam de alguma terra. 28 E, lançando o prumo, acharam vinte braças; passando um pouco mais adiante, tornando a lançar o prumo, acharam quinze braças. 29 E, receosos de que fôssemos atirados contra lugares rochosos, lançaram da popa quatro âncoras e oravam para que rompesse o dia. 30 Procurando os marinheiros fugir do navio, e, tendo arriado o bote no mar, a pretexto de que estavam para largar âncoras da proa, 31 disse Paulo ao centurião e aos soldados: Se estes não permanecerem a bordo, vós não podereis salvar-vos. 32 Então, os soldados cortaram os cabos do bote e o deixaram afastar-se. 33 Enquanto amanhecia, Paulo rogava a todos que se alimentassem, dizendo: Hoje, é o décimo quarto dia em que, esperando, estais sem comer, nada tendo provado. 34 Eu vos rogo que comais alguma coisa; porque disto depende a vossa segurança; pois nenhum de vós perderá nem mesmo um fio de cabelo. 35 Tendo dito isto, tomando um pão, deu graças a Deus na presença de todos e, depois de o partir, começou a comer. 36 Todos cobraram ânimo e se puseram também a comer. 37 Estávamos no navio duzentas e setenta e seis pessoas ao todo. 38 Refeitos com a comida, aliviaram o navio, lançando o trigo ao mar. 39 Quando amanheceu, não reconheceram a terra, mas avistaram uma enseada, onde havia praia; então, consultaram entre si se não podiam encalhar ali o navio. 40 Levantando as âncoras, deixaram-no ir ao mar, largando também as amarras do leme; e, alçando a vela de proa ao vento, dirigiram-se para a praia. 41 Dando, porém, num lugar onde duas correntes se encontravam, encalharam ali o navio; a proa encravou-se e ficou imóvel, mas a popa se abria pela violência do mar. 42 O parecer dos soldados era que matassem os presos, para que nenhum deles, nadando, fugisse; 43 mas o centurião, querendo salvar a Paulo, impediu-os de o fazer; e ordenou que os que soubessem nadar fossem os primeiros a lançar-se ao mar e alcançar a terra. 44 Quanto aos demais, que se salvassem, uns, em tábuas, e outros, em destroços do navio. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself. 4 And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary. 5 And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia. 6 And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein. 7 And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone; 8 And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea. 9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them, 10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives. 11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul. 12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west. 13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete. 14 But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon. 15 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive. 16 And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat: 17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven. 18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; 19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. 20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. 21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. 22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. 23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. 25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. 26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island. 27 But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country; 28 And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms. 29 Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. 30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship, 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. 32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off. 33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. 35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat. 36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. 37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea. 39 And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship. 40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore. 41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves. 42 And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape. 43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land: 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jeremias 37 1 Zedequias, filho de Josias e a quem Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, constituíra rei na terra de Judá, reinou em lugar de Conias, filho de Jeoaquim. 2 Mas nem ele, nem os seus servos, nem o povo da terra deram ouvidos às palavras do SENHOR que falou por intermédio de Jeremias, o profeta. 3 Contudo, mandou o rei Zedequias a Jucal, filho de Selemias, e ao sacerdote Sofonias, filho de Maaséias, ao profeta Jeremias, para lhe dizerem: Roga por nós ao SENHOR, nosso Deus. 4 Jeremias andava livremente entre o povo, porque ainda o não haviam encarcerado. 5 O exército de Faraó saíra do Egito; e, quando os caldeus, que sitiavam Jerusalém, ouviram esta notícia, retiraram-se dela. 6 Então, veio a Jeremias, o profeta, a palavra do SENHOR: 7 Assim diz o SENHOR, Deus de Israel: Assim direis ao rei de Judá, que vos enviou a mim, para me consultar: Eis que o exército de Faraó, que saiu em vosso socorro, voltará para a sua terra, no Egito. 8 Retornarão os caldeus, pelejarão contra esta cidade, tomá-la-ão e a queimarão. 9 Assim diz o SENHOR: Não vos enganeis a vós mesmos, dizendo: Sem dúvida, se irão os caldeus de nós; pois, de fato, não se retirarão. 10 Porque, ainda que derrotásseis a todo o exército dos caldeus, que pelejam contra vós outros, e ficassem deles apenas homens mortalmente feridos, cada um se levantaria na sua tenda e queimaria esta cidade. 11 Tendo-se retirado o exército dos caldeus de Jerusalém, por causa do exército de Faraó, 12 saiu Jeremias de Jerusalém, a fim de ir à terra de Benjamim, para receber o quinhão de uma herança que tinha no meio do povo. 13 Estando ele à Porta de Benjamim, achava-se ali um capitão da guarda, cujo nome era Jerias, filho de Selemias, filho de Hananias, capitão que prendeu a Jeremias, o profeta, dizendo: Tu foges para os caldeus. 14 Disse Jeremias: É mentira, não fujo para os caldeus. Mas Jerias não lhe deu ouvidos; prendeu a Jeremias e o levou aos príncipes. 15 Os príncipes, irados contra Jeremias, açoitaram-no e o meteram no cárcere, na casa de Jônatas, o escrivão, porque a tinham transformado em cárcere. 16 Tendo Jeremias entrado nas celas do calabouço, ali ficou muitos dias. 17 Mandou o rei Zedequias trazê-lo para sua casa e, em secreto, lhe perguntou: Há alguma palavra do SENHOR? Respondeu Jeremias: Há. Disse ainda: Nas mãos do rei da Babilônia serás entregue. 18 Disse mais Jeremias ao rei Zedequias: Em que pequei contra ti, ou contra os teus servos, ou contra este povo, para que me pusesses na prisão? 19 Onde estão agora os vossos profetas, que vos profetizavam, dizendo: O rei da Babilônia não virá contra vós outros, nem contra esta terra? 20 Agora, pois, ouve, ó rei, meu senhor: Que a minha humilde súplica seja bem acolhida por ti, e não me deixes tornar à casa de Jônatas, o escrivão, para que eu não venha a morrer ali. 21 Então, ordenou o rei Zedequias que pusessem a Jeremias no átrio da guarda; e, cada dia, deram-lhe um pão da Rua dos Padeiros, até acabar-se todo pão da cidade. Assim ficou Jeremias no átrio da guarda. https://www.biblegateway.com/ audio/dramatized/kjv/Jer.37 ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  37 And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah. 2 But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of the Lord, which he spake by the prophet Jeremiah. 3 And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the Lord our God for us. 4 Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into prison. 5 Then Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem. 6 Then came the word of the Lord unto the prophet Jeremiah saying, 7 Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. 8 And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire. 9 Thus saith the Lord; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart. 10 For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire. 11 And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army, 12 Then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people. 13 And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans. 14 Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes. 15 Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison. 16 When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days; 17 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon. 18 Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison? 19 Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? 20 Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there. 21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. E beijou-as. Elas, porém, choraram em alta voz 10 e lhe disseram: Não! Iremos contigo ao teu povo. 11 Porém Noemi disse: Voltai, minhas filhas! Por que iríeis comigo? Tenho eu ainda no ventre filhos, para que vos sejam por maridos? 12 Tornai, filhas minhas! Ide-vos embora, porque sou velha demais para ter marido. Ainda quando eu dissesse: tenho esperança ou ainda que esta noite tivesse marido e houvesse filhos, 13 esperá-los-íeis até que viessem a ser grandes? Abster-vos-íeis de tomardes marido? Não, filhas minhas! Porque, por vossa causa, a mim me amarga o ter o SENHOR descarregado contra mim a sua mão. 14 Então, de novo, choraram em voz alta; Orfa, com um beijo, se despediu de sua sogra, porém Rute se apegou a ela. 15 Disse Noemi: Eis que tua cunhada voltou ao seu povo e aos seus deuses; também tu, volta após a tua cunhada. 16 Disse, porém, Rute: Não me instes para que te deixe e me obrigue a não seguir-te; porque, aonde quer que fores, irei eu e, onde quer que pousares, ali pousarei eu; o teu povo é o meu povo, o teu Deus é o meu Deus. 17 Onde quer que morreres, morrerei eu e aí serei sepultada; faça-me o SENHOR o que bem lhe aprouver, se outra coisa que não seja a morte me separar de ti. 18 Vendo, pois, Noemi que de todo estava resolvida a acompanhá-la, deixou de insistir com ela. 19 Então, ambas se foram, até que chegaram a Belém; sucedeu que, ao chegarem ali, toda a cidade se comoveu por causa delas, e as mulheres diziam: Não é esta Noemi? 20 Porém ela lhes dizia: Não me chameis Noemi; chamai-me Mara, porque grande amargura me tem dado o Todo-Poderoso. 21 Ditosa eu parti, porém o SENHOR me fez voltar pobre; por que, pois, me chamareis Noemi, visto que o SENHOR se manifestou contra mim e o Todo-Poderoso me tem afligido? 22 Assim, voltou Noemi da terra de Moabe, com Rute, sua nora, a moabita; e chegaram a Belém no princípio da sega da cevada. https://www.biblegateway.com/ audio/dramatized/kjv/Ruth.1 ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. Então, Paulo, estendendo a mão, passou a defender-se nestes termos: 2 Tenho-me por feliz, ó rei Agripa, pelo privilégio de, hoje, na tua presença, poder produzir a minha defesa de todas as acusações feitas contra mim pelos judeus; 3 mormente porque és versado em todos os costumes e questões que há entre os judeus; por isso, eu te peço que me ouças com paciência. 4 Quanto à minha vida, desde a mocidade, como decorreu desde o princípio entre o meu povo e em Jerusalém, todos os judeus a conhecem; 5 pois, na verdade, eu era conhecido deles desde o princípio, se assim o quiserem testemunhar, porque vivi fariseu conforme a seita mais severa da nossa religião. 6 E, agora, estou sendo julgado por causa da esperança da promessa que por Deus foi feita a nossos pais, 7 a qual as nossas doze tribos, servindo a Deus fervorosamente de noite e de dia, almejam alcançar; é no tocante a esta esperança, ó rei, que eu sou acusado pelos judeus. 8 Por que se julga incrível entre vós que Deus ressuscite os mortos? 9 Na verdade, a mim me parecia que muitas coisas devia eu praticar contra o nome de Jesus, o Nazareno; 10 e assim procedi em Jerusalém. Havendo eu recebido autorização dos principais sacerdotes, encerrei muitos dos santos nas prisões; e contra estes dava o meu voto, quando os matavam. 11 Muitas vezes, os castiguei por todas as sinagogas, obrigando-os até a blasfemar. E, demasiadamente enfurecido contra eles, mesmo por cidades estranhas os perseguia. 12 Com estes intuitos, parti para Damasco, levando autorização dos principais sacerdotes e por eles comissionado. 13 Ao meio-dia, ó rei, indo eu caminho fora, vi uma luz no céu, mais resplandecente que o sol, que brilhou ao redor de mim e dos que iam comigo. 14 E, caindo todos nós por terra, ouvi uma voz que me falava em língua hebraica: Saulo, Saulo, por que me persegues? Dura coisa é recalcitrares contra os aguilhões. 15 Então, eu perguntei: Quem és tu, Senhor? Ao que o Senhor respondeu: Eu sou Jesus, a quem tu persegues. 16 Mas levanta-te e firma-te sobre teus pés, porque por isto te apareci, para te constituir ministro e testemunha, tanto das coisas em que me viste como daquelas pelas quais te aparecerei ainda, 17 livrando-te do povo e dos gentios, para os quais eu te envio, 18 para lhes abrires os olhos e os converteres das trevas para a luz e da potestade de Satanás para Deus, a fim de que recebam eles remissão de pecados e herança entre os que são santificados pela fé em mim. 19 Pelo que, ó rei Agripa, não fui desobediente à visão celestial, 20 mas anunciei primeiramente aos de Damasco e em Jerusalém, por toda a região da Judéia, e aos gentios, que se arrependessem e se convertessem a Deus, praticando obras dignas de arrependimento. 21 Por causa disto, alguns judeus me prenderam, estando eu no templo, e tentaram matar-me. 22 Mas, alcançando socorro de Deus, permaneço até ao dia de hoje, dando testemunho, tanto a pequenos como a grandes, nada dizendo, senão o que os profetas e Moisés disseram haver de acontecer, 23 isto é, que o Cristo devia padecer e, sendo o primeiro da ressurreição dos mortos, anunciaria a luz ao povo e aos gentios. 24 Dizendo ele estas coisas em sua defesa, Festo o interrompeu em alta voz: Estás louco, Paulo! As muitas letras te fazem delirar! 25 Paulo, porém, respondeu: Não estou louco, ó excelentíssimo Festo! Pelo contrário, digo palavras de verdade e de bom senso. 26 Porque tudo isto é do conhecimento do rei, a quem me dirijo com franqueza, pois estou persuadido de que nenhuma destas coisas lhe é oculta; porquanto nada se passou em algum lugar escondido. 27 Acreditas, ó rei Agripa, nos profetas? Bem sei que acreditas. 28 Então, Agripa se dirigiu a Paulo e disse: Por pouco me persuades a me fazer cristão. 29 Paulo respondeu: Assim Deus permitisse que, por pouco ou por muito, não apenas tu, ó rei, porém todos os que hoje me ouvem se tornassem tais qual eu sou, exceto estas cadeias. 30 A essa altura, levantou-se o rei, e também o governador, e Berenice, bem como os que estavam assentados com eles; 31 e, havendo-se retirado, falavam uns com os outros, dizendo: Este homem nada tem feito passível de morte ou de prisão. 32 Então, Agripa se dirigiu a Festo e disse: Este homem bem podia ser solto, se não tivesse apelado para César. https://www.biblegateway.com/ audio/dramatized/kjv/Acts.26 ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  26 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself: 2 I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews: 3 Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently. 4 My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews; 5 Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. 6 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God, unto our fathers: 7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews. 8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead? 9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. 11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities. 12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, 13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. 14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. 21 For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me. 22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: 23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. 24 And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad. 25 But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness. 26 For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner. 27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. 28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. 29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds. 30 And when he had thus spoken, the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them: 31 And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds. 32 Then said Agrippa unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar.  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jeremias 36 1 No quarto ano de Jeoaquim, filho de Josias, rei de Judá, veio esta palavra do SENHOR a Jeremias, dizendo: 2 Toma um rolo, um livro, e escreve nele todas as palavras que te falei contra Israel, contra Judá e contra todas as nações, desde o dia em que te falei, desde os dias de Josias até hoje. 3 Talvez ouçam os da casa de Judá todo o mal que eu intento fazer-lhes e venham a converter-se cada um do seu mau caminho, e eu lhes perdoe a iniqüidade e o pecado. 4 Então, Jeremias chamou a Baruque, filho de Nerias; escreveu Baruque no rolo, segundo o que ditou Jeremias, todas as palavras que a este o SENHOR havia revelado. 5 Jeremias ordenou a Baruque, dizendo: Estou encarcerado; não posso entrar na Casa do SENHOR. 6 Entra, pois, tu e, do rolo que escreveste, segundo o que eu ditei, lê todas as palavras do SENHOR, diante do povo, na Casa do SENHOR, no dia de jejum; e também as lerás diante de todos os de Judá que vêm das suas cidades. 7 Pode ser que as suas humildes súplicas sejam bem acolhidas pelo SENHOR, e cada um se converta do seu mau caminho; porque grande é a ira e o furor que o SENHOR tem manifestado contra este povo. 8 Fez Baruque, filho de Nerias, segundo tudo quanto lhe havia ordenado Jeremias, o profeta, e leu naquele livro as palavras do SENHOR, na Casa do SENHOR. 9 No quinto ano de Jeoaquim, filho de Josias, rei de Judá, no mês nono, apregoaram jejum diante do SENHOR a todo o povo em Jerusalém, como também a todo o povo que vinha das cidades de Judá a Jerusalém. 10 Leu, pois, Baruque naquele livro as palavras de Jeremias na Casa do SENHOR, na câmara de Gemarias, filho de Safã, o escriba, no átrio superior, à entrada da Porta Nova da Casa do SENHOR, diante de todo o povo. 11 Ouvindo Micaías, filho de Gemarias, filho de Safã, todas as palavras do SENHOR, naquele livro, 12 desceu à casa do rei, à câmara do escrivão. Eis que todos os príncipes estavam ali assentados: Elisama, o escrivão, Delaías, filho de Semaías, Elnatã, filho de Acbor, Gemarias, filho de Safã, Zedequias, filho de Hananias, e todos os outros príncipes. 13 Micaías anunciou-lhes todas as palavras que ouvira, quando Baruque leu o livro diante do povo. 14 Então, todos os príncipes mandaram Jeudi, filho de Netanias, filho de Selemias, filho de Cusi, dizer a Baruque: O rolo que leste diante do povo, toma-o contigo e vem. Baruque, filho de Nerias, tomou o rolo consigo e veio ter com eles. 15 Disseram-lhe: Assenta-te, agora, e lê-o para nós. E Baruque o leu diante deles. 16 Tendo eles ouvido todas aquelas palavras, entreolharam-se atemorizados e disseram a Baruque: Sem dúvida nenhuma, anunciaremos ao rei todas estas palavras. 17 E perguntaram a Baruque, dizendo: Declara-nos, como escreveste isto? Acaso, te ditou o profeta todas estas palavras? 18 Respondeu-lhes Baruque: Ditava-me pessoalmente todas estas palavras, e eu as escrevia no livro com tinta. 19 Então, disseram os príncipes a Baruque: Vai, esconde-te, tu e Jeremias; ninguém saiba onde estais. 20 Foram os príncipes ter com o rei ao átrio, depois de terem depositado o rolo na câmara de Elisama, o escrivão, e anunciaram diante do rei todas aquelas palavras. 21 Então, enviou o rei a Jeudi, para que trouxesse o rolo; Jeudi tomou-o da câmara de Elisama, o escrivão, e o leu diante do rei e de todos os príncipes que estavam com ele. 22 O rei estava assentado na casa de inverno, pelo nono mês, e diante dele estava um braseiro aceso. 23 Tendo Jeudi lido três ou quatro folhas do livro, cortou-o o rei com um canivete de escrivão e o lançou no fogo que havia no braseiro, e, assim, todo o rolo se consumiu no fogo que estava no braseiro. 24 Não se atemorizaram, não rasgaram as vestes, nem o rei nem nenhum dos seus servos que ouviram todas aquelas palavras. 25 Posto que Elnatã, Delaías e Gemarias tinham insistido com o rei que não queimasse o rolo, ele não lhes deu ouvidos. 26 Antes, deu ordem o rei a Jerameel, filho de Hameleque, a Seraías, filho de Azriel, e a Selemias, filho de Abdeel, que prendessem a Baruque, o escrivão, e a Jeremias, o profeta; mas o SENHOR os havia escondido. 27 Então, veio a Jeremias a palavra do SENHOR, depois que o rei queimara o rolo com as palavras que Baruque escrevera ditadas por Jeremias, dizendo: 28 Toma outro rolo e escreve nele todas as palavras que estavam no original, que Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, queimou. 29 E a Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, dirás: Assim diz o SENHOR: Tu queimaste aquele rolo, dizendo: Por que escreveste nele que certamente viria o rei da Babilônia, e destruiria esta terra, e acabaria com homens e animais dela? 30 Portanto, assim diz o SENHOR, acerca de Jeoaquim, rei de Judá: Ele não terá quem se assente no trono de Davi, e o seu cadáver será largado ao calor do dia e à geada da noite. 31 Castigá-lo-ei, e à sua descendência, e aos seus servos por causa da iniqüidade deles; sobre ele, sobre os moradores de Jerusalém e sobre os homens de Judá farei cair todo o mal que tenho falado contra eles, e não ouviram. 32 Tomou, pois, Jeremias outro rolo e o deu a Baruque, filho de Nerias, o escrivão, o qual escreveu nele, ditado por Jeremias, todas as palavras do livro que Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, queimara; e ainda se lhes acrescentaram muitas palavras semelhantes. https://www.biblegateway.com/ audio/dramatized/kjv/Jer.36 ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  36 And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, 2 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day. 3 It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin. 4 Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book. 5 And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the Lord: 6 Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the Lord in the ears of the people in the Lord's house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities. 7 It may be they will present their supplication before the Lord, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the Lord hath pronounced against this people. 8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the Lord in the Lord's house. 9 And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the Lord to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem. 10 Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the Lord's house, in the ears of all the people. 11 When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the Lord, 12 Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes. 13 Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people. 14 Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them. 15 And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears. 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 17 And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth? 18 Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book. 19 Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be. 20 And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king. 21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king. 22 Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him. 23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth. 24 Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. 25 Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them. 26 But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the Lord hid them. 27 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying, 28 Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned. 29 And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the Lord; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? 30 Therefore thus saith the Lord of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost. 31 And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not. 32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Observações por Blog Heavenly Heavenly Acreditar ou não acreditar na verdade.
