de todo homem cujo coração o mover para isso, dele recebereis a minha oferta. 3 Esta é a oferta que dele recebereis: ouro, e prata, e bronze, 4 e estofo azul, e púrpura, e carmesim, e linho fino, e pêlos de cabra, 5 e peles de carneiro tintas de vermelho, e peles finas, e madeira de acácia, 6 azeite para a luz, especiarias para o óleo de unção e para o incenso aromático, 7 pedras de ônix e pedras de engaste, para a estola sacerdotal e para o peitoral. 8 E me farão um santuário, para que eu possa habitar no meio deles. 9 Segundo tudo o que eu te mostrar para modelo do tabernáculo e para modelo de todos os seus móveis, assim mesmo o fareis. 10 Também farão uma arca de madeira de acácia; de dois côvados e meio será o seu comprimento, de um côvado e meio, a largura, e de um côvado e meio, a altura. 11 De ouro puro a cobrirás; por dentro e por fora a cobrirás e farás sobre ela uma bordadura de ouro ao redor. 12 Fundirás para ela quatro argolas de ouro e as porás nos quatro cantos da arca: duas argolas num lado dela e duas argolas noutro lado. 13 Farás também varais de madeira de acácia e os cobrirás de ouro; 14 meterás os varais nas argolas aos lados da arca, para se levar por meio deles a arca. 15 Os varais ficarão nas argolas da arca e não se tirarão dela. 16 E porás na arca o Testemunho, que eu te darei. 17 Farás também um propiciatório de ouro puro; de dois côvados e meio será o seu comprimento, e a largura, de um côvado e meio. 18 Farás dois querubins de ouro; de ouro batido os farás, nas duas extremidades do propiciatório; 19 um querubim, na extremidade de uma parte, e o outro, na extremidade da outra parte; de uma só peça com o propiciatório fareis os querubins nas duas extremidades dele. 20 Os querubins estenderão as asas por cima, cobrindo com elas o propiciatório; estarão eles de faces voltadas uma para a outra, olhando para o propiciatório. 21 Porás o propiciatório em cima da arca; e dentro dela porás o Testemunho, que eu te darei. 22 Ali, virei a ti e, de cima do propiciatório, do meio dos dois querubins que estão sobre a arca do Testemunho, falarei contigo acerca de tudo o que eu te ordenar para os filhos de Israel. 23 Também farás a mesa de madeira de acácia; terá o comprimento de dois côvados, a largura, de um côvado, e a altura, de um côvado e meio; 24 de ouro puro a cobrirás e lhe farás uma bordadura de ouro ao redor. 25 Também lhe farás moldura ao redor, da largura de quatro dedos, e lhe farás uma bordadura de ouro ao redor da moldura. 26 Também lhe farás quatro argolas de ouro; e porás as argolas nos quatro cantos, que estão nos seus quatro pés. 27 Perto da moldura estarão as argolas, como lugares para os varais, para se levar a mesa. 28 Farás, pois, estes varais de madeira de acácia e os cobrirás de ouro; por meio deles, se levará a mesa. 29 Também farás os seus pratos, e os seus recipientes para incenso, e as suas galhetas, e as suas taças em que se hão de oferecer libações; de ouro puro os farás. 30 Porás sobre a mesa os pães da proposição diante de mim perpetuamente. 31 Farás também um candelabro de ouro puro; de ouro batido se fará este candelabro; o seu pedestal, a sua hástea, os seus cálices, as suas maçanetas e as suas flores formarão com ele uma só peça. 32 Seis hásteas sairão dos seus lados: três de um lado e três do outro. 33 Numa hástea, haverá três cálices com formato de amêndoas, uma maçaneta e uma flor; e três cálices, com formato de amêndoas na outra hástea, uma maçaneta e uma flor; assim serão as seis hásteas que saem do candelabro. 34 Mas no candelabro mesmo haverá quatro cálices com formato de amêndoas, com suas maçanetas e com suas flores. 35 Haverá uma maçaneta sob duas hásteas que saem dele; e ainda uma maçaneta sob duas outras hásteas que saem dele; e ainda mais uma maçaneta sob duas outras hásteas que saem dele; assim se fará com as seis hásteas que saem do candelabro. 36 As suas maçanetas e as suas hásteas serão do mesmo; tudo será de uma só peça, obra batida de ouro puro. 37 Também lhe farás sete lâmpadas, as quais se acenderão para alumiar defronte dele. 38 As suas espevitadeiras e os seus apagadores serão de ouro puro. 39 De um talento de ouro puro se fará o candelabro com todos estes utensílios. 40 Vê, pois, que tudo faças segundo o modelo que te foi mostrado no monte. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  25 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. 3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, 4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, 5 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, 6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, 7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. 8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. 9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. 10 And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about. 12 And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it. 13 And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. 14 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. 15 The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. 16 And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee. 17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof. 20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. 21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. 22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. 23 Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about. 25 And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about. 26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof. 27 Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table. 28 And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them. 29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them. 30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway. 31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. 32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: 33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick. 34 And in the candlesticks shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers. 35 And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick. 36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold. 37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it. 38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold. 39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels. 40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  João 5 1 Passadas estas coisas, havia uma festa dos judeus, e Jesus subiu para Jerusalém. 2 Ora, existe ali, junto à Porta das Ovelhas, um tanque, chamado em hebraico Betesda, o qual tem cinco pavilhões. 3 Nestes, jazia uma multidão de enfermos, cegos, coxos, paralíticos 4 [esperando que se movesse a água. Porquanto um anjo descia em certo tempo, agitando-a; e o primeiro que entrava no tanque, uma vez agitada a água, sarava de qualquer doença que tivesse]. 5 Estava ali um homem enfermo havia trinta e oito anos. 6 Jesus, vendo-o deitado e sabendo que estava assim há muito tempo, perguntou-lhe: Queres ser curado? 7 Respondeu-lhe o enfermo: Senhor, não tenho ninguém que me ponha no tanque, quando a água é agitada; pois, enquanto eu vou, desce outro antes de mim. 8 Então, lhe disse Jesus: Levanta-te, toma o teu leito e anda. 9 Imediatamente, o homem se viu curado e, tomando o leito, pôs-se a andar. E aquele dia era sábado. 10 Por isso, disseram os judeus ao que fora curado: Hoje é sábado, e não te é lícito carregar o leito. 11 Ao que ele lhes respondeu: O mesmo que me curou me disse: Toma o teu leito e anda. 12 Perguntaram-lhe eles: Quem é o homem que te disse: Toma o teu leito e anda? 13 Mas o que fora curado não sabia quem era; porque Jesus se havia retirado, por haver muita gente naquele lugar. 14 Mais tarde, Jesus o encontrou no templo e lhe disse: Olha que já estás curado; não peques mais, para que não te suceda coisa pior. 15 O homem retirou-se e disse aos judeus que fora Jesus quem o havia curado. 16 E os judeus perseguiam Jesus, porque fazia estas coisas no sábado. 17 Mas ele lhes disse: Meu Pai trabalha até agora, e eu trabalho também. 18 Por isso, pois, os judeus ainda mais procuravam matá-lo, porque não somente violava o sábado, mas também dizia que Deus era seu próprio Pai, fazendo-se igual a Deus. 19 Então, lhes falou Jesus: Em verdade, em verdade vos digo que o Filho nada pode fazer de si mesmo, senão somente aquilo que vir fazer o Pai; porque tudo o que este fizer, o Filho também semelhantemente o faz. 20 Porque o Pai ama ao Filho, e lhe mostra tudo o que faz, e maiores obras do que estas lhe mostrará, para que vos maravilheis. 21 Pois assim como o Pai ressuscita e vivifica os mortos, assim também o Filho vivifica aqueles a quem quer. 22 E o Pai a ninguém julga, mas ao Filho confiou todo julgamento, 23 a fim de que todos honrem o Filho do modo por que honram o Pai. Quem não honra o Filho não honra o Pai que o enviou. 24 Em verdade, em verdade vos digo: quem ouve a minha palavra e crê naquele que me enviou tem a vida eterna, não entra em juízo, mas passou da morte para a vida. 25 Em verdade, em verdade vos digo que vem a hora e já chegou, em que os mortos ouvirão a voz do Filho de Deus; e os que a ouvirem viverão. 26 Porque assim como o Pai tem vida em si mesmo, também concedeu ao Filho ter vida em si mesmo. 27 E lhe deu autoridade para julgar, porque é o Filho do Homem. 28 Não vos maravilheis disto, porque vem a hora em que todos os que se acham nos túmulos ouvirão a sua voz e sairão: 29 os que tiverem feito o bem, para a ressurreição da vida; e os que tiverem praticado o mal, para a ressurreição do juízo. 30 Eu nada posso fazer de mim mesmo; na forma por que ouço, julgo. O meu juízo é justo, porque não procuro a minha própria vontade, e sim a daquele que me enviou. 31 Se eu testifico a respeito de mim mesmo, o meu testemunho não é verdadeiro. 32 Outro é o que testifica a meu respeito, e sei que é verdadeiro o testemunho que ele dá de mim. 33 Mandastes mensageiros a João, e ele deu testemunho da verdade. 34 Eu, porém, não aceito humano testemunho; digo-vos, entretanto, estas coisas para que sejais salvos. 35 Ele era a lâmpada que ardia e alumiava, e vós quisestes, por algum tempo, alegrar-vos com a sua luz. 36 Mas eu tenho maior testemunho do que o de João; porque as obras que o Pai me confiou para que eu as realizasse, essas que eu faço testemunham a meu respeito de que o Pai me enviou. 37 O Pai, que me enviou, esse mesmo é que tem dado testemunho de mim. Jamais tendes ouvido a sua voz, nem visto a sua forma. 38 Também não tendes a sua palavra permanente em vós, porque não credes naquele a quem ele enviou. 39 Examinais as Escrituras, porque julgais ter nelas a vida eterna, e são elas mesmas que testificam de mim. 40 Contudo, não quereis vir a mim para terdes vida. 41 Eu não aceito glória que vem dos homens; 42 sei, entretanto, que não tendes em vós o amor de Deus. 43 Eu vim em nome de meu Pai, e não me recebeis; se outro vier em seu próprio nome, certamente, o recebereis. 44 Como podeis crer, vós os que aceitais glória uns dos outros e, contudo, não procurais a glória que vem do Deus único? 45 Não penseis que eu vos acusarei perante o Pai; quem vos acusa é Moisés, em quem tendes firmado a vossa confiança. 46 Porque, se, de fato, crêsseis em Moisés, também creríeis em mim; porquanto ele escreveu a meu respeito. 47 Se, porém, não credes nos seus escritos, como crereis nas minhas palavras? ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  5 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. 5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? 7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. 11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. 12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk? 13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. 15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. 16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. 17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. 19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. 30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. 31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. 32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true. 33 Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. 34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. 35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. 36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. 37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. 39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41 I receive not honour from men. 42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Provérbios 2 1 Filho meu, se aceitares as minhas palavras e esconderes contigo os meus mandamentos, 2 para fazeres atento à sabedoria o teu ouvido e para inclinares o coração ao entendimento, 3 e, se clamares por inteligência, e por entendimento alçares a voz, 4 se buscares a sabedoria como a prata e como a tesouros escondidos a procurares, 5 então, entenderás o temor do SENHOR e acharás o conhecimento de Deus. 6 Porque o SENHOR dá a sabedoria, e da sua boca vem a inteligência e o entendimento. 7 Ele reserva a verdadeira sabedoria para os retos; é escudo para os que caminham na sinceridade, 8 guarda as veredas do juízo e conserva o caminho dos seus santos. 9 Então, entenderás justiça, juízo e eqüidade, todas as boas veredas. 10 Porquanto a sabedoria entrará no teu coração, e o conhecimento será agradável à tua alma. 11 O bom siso te guardará, e a inteligência te conservará; 12 para te livrar do caminho do mal e do homem que diz coisas perversas; 13 dos que deixam as veredas da retidão, para andarem pelos caminhos das trevas; 14 que se alegram de fazer o mal, folgam com as perversidades dos maus, 15 seguem veredas tortuosas e se desviam nos seus caminhos; 16 para te livrar da mulher adúltera, da estrangeira, que lisonjeia com palavras, 17 a qual deixa o amigo da sua mocidade e se esquece da aliança do seu Deus; 18 porque a sua casa se inclina para a morte, e as suas veredas, para o reino das sombras da morte; 19 todos os que se dirigem a essa mulher não voltarão e não atinarão com as veredas da vida. 20 Assim, andarás pelo caminho dos homens de bem e guardarás as veredas dos justos. 21 Porque os retos habitarão a terra, e os íntegros permanecerão nela. 22 Mas os perversos serão eliminados da terra, e os aleivosos serão dela desarraigados. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  2 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; 2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; 3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; 4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; 5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. 7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. 8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. 9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. 10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; 11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: 12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; 13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; 14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; 15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths: 16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; 17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. 18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. 19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. 20 That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. 21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. 22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
