e também, em torno delas, dareis aos levitas arredores para o seu gado. 3 Terão eles estas cidades para habitá-las; porém os seus arredores serão para o gado, para os rebanhos e para todos os seus animais. 4 Os arredores das cidades que dareis aos levitas, desde o muro da cidade para fora, serão de mil côvados em redor. 5 Fora da cidade, do lado oriental, medireis dois mil côvados; do lado sul, dois mil côvados; do lado ocidental, dois mil côvados e do lado norte, dois mil côvados, ficando a cidade no meio; estes lhes serão os arredores das cidades. 6 Das cidades, pois, que dareis aos levitas, seis haverá de refúgio, as quais dareis para que, nelas, se acolha o homicida; além destas, lhes dareis quarenta e duas cidades. 7 Todas as cidades que dareis aos levitas serão quarenta e oito cidades, juntamente com os seus arredores. 8 Quanto às cidades que derdes da herança dos filhos de Israel, se for numerosa a tribo, tomareis muitas; se for pequena, tomareis poucas; cada um dará das suas cidades aos levitas, na proporção da herança que lhe tocar. 9 Disse mais o SENHOR a Moisés: 10 Fala aos filhos de Israel e dize-lhes: Quando passardes o Jordão para a terra de Canaã, 11 escolhei para vós outros cidades que vos sirvam de refúgio, para que, nelas, se acolha o homicida que matar alguém involuntariamente. 12 Estas cidades vos serão para refúgio do vingador do sangue, para que o homicida não morra antes de ser apresentado perante a congregação para julgamento. 13 As cidades que derdes serão seis cidades de refúgio para vós outros. 14 Três destas cidades dareis deste lado do Jordão e três dareis na terra de Canaã; cidades de refúgio serão. 15 Serão de refúgio estas seis cidades para os filhos de Israel, e para o estrangeiro, e para o que se hospedar no meio deles, para que, nelas, se acolha aquele que matar alguém involuntariamente. 16 Todavia, se alguém ferir a outrem com instrumento de ferro, e este morrer, é homicida; o homicida será morto. 17 Ou se alguém ferir a outrem, com pedra na mão, que possa causar a morte, e este morrer, é homicida; o homicida será morto. 18 Ou se alguém ferir a outrem com instrumento de pau que tiver na mão, que possa causar a morte, e este morrer, é homicida; o homicida será morto. 19 O vingador do sangue, ao encontrar o homicida, matá-lo-á. 20 Se alguém empurrar a outrem com ódio ou com mau intento lançar contra ele alguma coisa, e ele morrer, 21 ou, por inimizade, o ferir com a mão, e este morrer, será morto aquele que o feriu; é homicida; o vingador do sangue, ao encontrar o homicida, matá-lo-á. 22 Porém, se o empurrar subitamente, sem inimizade, ou contra ele lançar algum instrumento, sem mau intento, 23 ou, não o vendo, deixar cair sobre ele alguma pedra que possa causar-lhe a morte, e ele morrer, não sendo ele seu inimigo, nem o tendo procurado para o mal, 24 então, a congregação julgará entre o matador e o vingador do sangue, segundo estas leis, 25 e livrará o homicida da mão do vingador do sangue, e o fará voltar à sua cidade de refúgio, onde se tinha acolhido; ali, ficará até à morte do sumo sacerdote, que foi ungido com o santo óleo. 26 Porém, se, de alguma sorte, o homicida sair dos limites da sua cidade de refúgio, onde se tinha acolhido, 27 e o vingador do sangue o achar fora dos limites dela, se o vingador do sangue matar o homicida, não será culpado do sangue. 28 Pois deve ficar na sua cidade de refúgio até à morte do sumo sacerdote; porém, depois da morte deste, o homicida voltará à terra da sua possessão. 29 Estas coisas vos serão por estatuto de direito a vossas gerações, em todas as vossas moradas. 30 Todo aquele que matar a outrem será morto conforme o depoimento das testemunhas; mas uma só testemunha não deporá contra alguém para que morra. 31 Não aceitareis resgate pela vida do homicida que é culpado de morte; antes, será ele morto. 32 Também não aceitareis resgate por aquele que se acolher à sua cidade de refúgio, para tornar a habitar na sua terra, antes da morte do sumo sacerdote. 33 Assim, não profanareis a terra em que estais; porque o sangue profana a terra; nenhuma expiação se fará pela terra por causa do sangue que nela for derramado, senão com o sangue daquele que o derramou. 34 Não contaminareis, pois, a terra na qual vós habitais, no meio da qual eu habito; pois eu, o SENHOR, habito no meio dos filhos de Israel. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  35 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, 2 Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them. 3 And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts. 4 And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about. 5 And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities. 6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 7 So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs. 8 And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth. 9 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan; 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 12 And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment. 13 And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge. 14 Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither. 16 And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 17 And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 18 Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. 19 The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him. 20 But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die; 21 Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him. 22 But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait, 23 Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm: 24 Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments: 25 And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil. 26 But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled; 27 And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood: 28 Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession. 29 So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. 31 Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. 32 And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest. 33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. 34 Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Salmos 79 1 Ó Deus, as nações invadiram a tua herança, profanaram o teu santo templo, reduziram Jerusalém a um montão de ruínas. 2 Deram os cadáveres dos teus servos por cibo às aves dos céus e a carne dos teus santos, às feras da terra. 3 Derramaram como água o sangue deles ao redor de Jerusalém, e não houve quem lhes desse sepultura. 4 Tornamo-nos o opróbrio dos nossos vizinhos, o escárnio e a zombaria dos que nos rodeiam. 5 Até quando, SENHOR? Será para sempre a tua ira? Arderá como fogo o teu zelo? 6 Derrama o teu furor sobre as nações que te não conhecem e sobre os reinos que não invocam o teu nome. 7 Porque eles devoraram a Jacó e lhe assolaram as moradas. 8 Não recordes contra nós as iniqüidades de nossos pais; apressem-se ao nosso encontro as tuas misericórdias, pois estamos sobremodo abatidos. 9 Assiste-nos, ó Deus e Salvador nosso, pela glória do teu nome; livra-nos e perdoa-nos os pecados, por amor do teu nome. 10 Por que diriam as nações: Onde está o seu Deus? Seja, à nossa vista, manifesta entre as nações a vingança do sangue que dos teus servos é derramado. 11 Chegue à tua presença o gemido do cativo; consoante a grandeza do teu poder, preserva os sentenciados à morte. 12 Retribui, Senhor, aos nossos vizinhos, sete vezes tanto, o opróbrio com que te vituperaram. 13 Quanto a nós, teu povo e ovelhas do teu pasto, para sempre te daremos graças; de geração em geração proclamaremos os teus louvores. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  79 O god, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps. 2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth. 3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them. 4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us. 5 How long, Lord? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire? 6 Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name. 7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place. 8 O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low. 9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake. 10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed. 11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die; 12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord. 13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Isaías 27 1 Naquele dia, o SENHOR castigará com a sua dura espada, grande e forte, o dragão, serpente veloz, e o dragão, serpente sinuosa, e matará o monstro que está no mar. 2 Naquele dia, dirá o SENHOR: Cantai a vinha deliciosa! 3 Eu, o SENHOR, a vigio e a cada momento a regarei; para que ninguém lhe faça dano, de noite e de dia eu cuidarei dela. 4 Não há indignação em mim. Quem me dera espinheiros e abrolhos diante de mim! Em guerra, eu iria contra eles e juntamente os queimaria. 5 Ou que homens se apoderem da minha força e façam paz comigo; sim, que façam paz comigo. 6 Dias virão em que Jacó lançará raízes, florescerá e brotará Israel, e encherão de fruto o mundo. 7 Porventura, feriu o SENHOR a Israel como àqueles que o feriram? Ou o matou, assim como àqueles que o mataram? 8 Com xô!, xô! e exílio o trataste; com forte sopro o expulsaste no dia do vento oriental. 9 Portanto, com isto será expiada a culpa de Jacó, e este é todo o fruto do perdão do seu pecado: quando o SENHOR fizer a todas as pedras do altar como pedras de cal feitas em pedaços, não ficarão em pé os postes-ídolos e os altares do incenso. 10 Porque a cidade fortificada está solitária, habitação desamparada e abandonada como um deserto; ali pastam os bezerros, deitam-se e devoram os seus ramos. 11 Quando os seus ramos se secam, são quebrados. Então, vêm as mulheres e lhes deitam fogo, porque este povo não é povo de entendimento; por isso, aquele que o fez não se compadecerá dele, e aquele que o formou não lhe perdoará. 12 Naquele dia, em que o SENHOR debulhará o seu cereal desde o Eufrates até ao ribeiro do Egito; e vós, ó filhos de Israel, sereis colhidos um a um. 13 Naquele dia, se tocará uma grande trombeta, e os que andavam perdidos pela terra da Assíria e os que forem desterrados para a terra do Egito tornarão a vir e adorarão ao SENHOR no monte santo em Jerusalém. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  27 In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. 2 In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine. 3 I the Lord do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. 4 Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together. 5 Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me. 6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit. 7 Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him? 8 In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up. 10 Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof. 11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. 12 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel. 13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Observações por Blog Heavenly Heavenly Observemos: Assim está escrito:  "17 O ESPÍRITO e a noiva dizem :  Vem!
