LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Gênesis 42 Marcos 13  Jó 9 LEITURA  10º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Gênesis 42 1 Sabedor Jacó de que havia mantimento no Egito, disse a seus filhos: Por que estais aí a olhar uns para os outros? 2 E ajuntou: Tenho ouvido que há cereais no Egito; descei até lá e comprai-nos deles, para que vivamos e não morramos. 3 Então, desceram dez dos irmãos de José, para comprar cereal do Egito. 4 A Benjamim, porém, irmão de José, não enviou Jacó na companhia dos irmãos, porque dizia: Para que não lhe suceda, acaso, algum desastre. 5 Entre os que iam, pois, para lá, foram também os filhos de Israel; porque havia fome na terra de Canaã. 6 José era governador daquela terra; era ele quem vendia a todos os povos da terra; e os irmãos de José vieram e se prostraram rosto em terra, perante ele. 7 Vendo José a seus irmãos, reconheceu-os, porém não se deu a conhecer, e lhes falou asperamente, e lhes perguntou: Donde vindes? Responderam: Da terra de Canaã, para comprar mantimento. 8 José reconheceu os irmãos; porém eles não o reconheceram. 9 Então, se lembrou José dos sonhos que tivera a respeito deles e lhes disse: Vós sois espiões e viestes para ver os pontos fracos da terra. 10 Responderam-lhe: Não, senhor meu; mas vieram os teus servos para comprar mantimento. 11 Somos todos filhos de um mesmo homem; somos homens honestos; os teus servos não são espiões. 12 Ele, porém, lhes respondeu: Nada disso; pelo contrário, viestes para ver os pontos fracos da terra. 13 Eles disseram: Nós, teus servos, somos doze irmãos, filhos de um homem na terra de Canaã; o mais novo está hoje com nosso pai, outro já não existe. 14 Então, lhes falou José: É como já vos disse: sois espiões. 15 Nisto sereis provados: pela vida de Faraó, daqui não saireis, sem que primeiro venha o vosso irmão mais novo. 16 Enviai um dentre vós, que traga vosso irmão; vós ficareis detidos para que sejam provadas as vossas palavras, se há verdade no que dizeis; ou se não, pela vida de Faraó, sois espiões. 17 E os meteu juntos em prisão três dias. 18 Ao terceiro dia, disse-lhes José: Fazei o seguinte e vivereis, pois temo a Deus. 19 Se sois homens honestos, fique detido um de vós na casa da vossa prisão; vós outros ide, levai cereal para suprir a fome das vossas casas. 20 E trazei-me vosso irmão mais novo, com o que serão verificadas as vossas palavras, e não morrereis. E eles se dispuseram a fazê-lo. 21 Então, disseram uns aos outros: Na verdade, somos culpados, no tocante a nosso irmão, pois lhe vimos a angústia da alma, quando nos rogava, e não lhe acudimos; por isso, nos vem esta ansiedade. 22 Respondeu-lhes Rúben: Não vos disse eu: Não pequeis contra o jovem? E não me quisestes ouvir. Pois vedes aí que se requer de nós o seu sangue. 23 Eles, porém, não sabiam que José os entendia, porque lhes falava por intérprete. 24 E, retirando-se deles, chorou; depois, tornando, lhes falou; tomou a Simeão dentre eles e o algemou na presença deles. 25 Ordenou José que lhes enchessem de cereal os sacos, e lhes restituíssem o dinheiro, a cada um no saco de cereal, e os suprissem de comida para o caminho; e assim lhes foi feito. 26 E carregaram o cereal sobre os seus jumentos e partiram dali. 27 Abrindo um deles o saco de cereal, para dar de comer ao seu jumento na estalagem, deu com o dinheiro na boca do saco de cereal. 28 Então, disse aos irmãos: Devolveram o meu dinheiro; aqui está na boca do saco de cereal. Desfaleceu-lhes o coração, e, atemorizados, entreolhavam-se, dizendo: Que é isto que Deus nos fez? 29 E vieram para Jacó, seu pai, na terra de Canaã, e lhe contaram tudo o que lhes acontecera, dizendo: 30 O homem, o senhor da terra, falou conosco asperamente e nos tratou como espiões da terra. 31 Dissemos-lhe: Somos homens honestos; não somos espiões; 32 somos doze irmãos, filhos de um mesmo pai; um já não existe, e o mais novo está hoje com nosso pai na terra de Canaã. 33 Respondeu-nos o homem, o senhor da terra: Nisto conhecerei que sois homens honestos: deixai comigo um de vossos irmãos, tomai o cereal para remediar a fome de vossas casas e parti; 34 trazei-me vosso irmão mais novo; assim saberei que não sois espiões, mas homens honestos. Então, vos entregarei vosso irmão, e negociareis na terra. 35 Aconteceu que, despejando eles os sacos de cereal, eis cada um tinha a sua trouxinha de dinheiro no saco de cereal; e viram as trouxinhas com o dinheiro, eles e seu pai, e temeram. 36 Então, lhes disse Jacó, seu pai: Tendes-me privado de filhos: José já não existe, Simeão não está aqui, e ides levar a Benjamim! Todas estas coisas me sobrevêm. 37 Mas Rúben disse a seu pai: Mata os meus dois filhos, se to não tornar a trazer; entrega-mo, e eu to restituirei. 38 Ele, porém, disse: Meu filho não descerá convosco; seu irmão é morto, e ele ficou só; se lhe sucede algum desastre no caminho por onde fordes, fareis descer minhas cãs com tristeza à sepultura. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  42 Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another? 2 And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die. 3 And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt. 4 But Benjamin, Joseph's brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest peradventure mischief befall him. 5 And the sons of Israel came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan. 6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth. 7 And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food. 8 And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him. 9 And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come. 10 And they said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are thy servants come. 11 We are all one man's sons; we are true men, thy servants are no spies. 12 And he said unto them, Nay, but to see the nakedness of the land ye are come. 13 And they said, Thy servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is not. 14 And Joseph said unto them, That is it that I spake unto you, saying, Ye are spies: 15 Hereby ye shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh ye shall not go forth hence, except your youngest brother come hither. 16 Send one of you, and let him fetch your brother, and ye shall be kept in prison, that your words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by the life of Pharaoh surely ye are spies. 17 And he put them all together into ward three days. 18 And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God: 19 If ye be true men, let one of your brethren be bound in the house of your prison: go ye, carry corn for the famine of your houses: 20 But bring your youngest brother unto me; so shall your words be verified, and ye shall not die. And they did so. 21 And they said one to another, We are verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us. 22 And Reuben answered them, saying, Spake I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against the child; and ye would not hear? therefore, behold, also his blood is required. 23 And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spake unto them by an interpreter. 24 And he turned himself about from them, and wept; and returned to them again, and communed with them, and took from them Simeon, and bound him before their eyes. 25 Then Joseph commanded to fill their sacks with corn, and to restore every man's money into his sack, and to give them provision for the way: and thus did he unto them. 26 And they laded their asses with the corn, and departed thence. 27 And as one of them opened his sack to give his ass provender in the inn, he espied his money; for, behold, it was in his sack's mouth. 28 And he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their heart failed them, and they were afraid, saying one to another, What is this that God hath done unto us? 29 And they came unto Jacob their father unto the land of Canaan, and told him all that befell unto them; saying, 30 The man, who is the lord of the land, spake roughly to us, and took us for spies of the country. 31 And we said unto him, We are true men; we are no spies: 32 We be twelve brethren, sons of our father; one is not, and the youngest is this day with our father in the land of Canaan. 33 And the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye are true men; leave one of your brethren here with me, and take food for the famine of your households, and be gone: 34 And bring your youngest brother unto me: then shall I know that ye are no spies, but that ye are true men: so will I deliver you your brother, and ye shall traffick in the land. 35 And it came to pass as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man's bundle of money was in his sack: and when both they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid. 36 And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me. 37 And Reuben spake unto his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to thee: deliver him into my hand, and I will bring him to thee again. 38 And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Marcos 13 1 Ao sair Jesus do templo, disse-lhe um de seus discípulos: Mestre! Que pedras, que construções! 2 Mas Jesus lhe disse: Vês estas grandes construções? Não ficará pedra sobre pedra, que não seja derribada. 3 No monte das Oliveiras, defronte do templo, achava-se Jesus assentado, quando Pedro, Tiago, João e André lhe perguntaram em particular: 4 Dize-nos quando sucederão estas coisas, e que sinal haverá quando todas elas estiverem para cumprir-se. 5 Então, Jesus passou a dizer-lhes: Vede que ninguém vos engane. 6 Muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: Sou eu; e enganarão a muitos. 7 Quando, porém, ouvirdes falar de guerras e rumores de guerras, não vos assusteis; é necessário assim acontecer, mas ainda não é o fim. 8 Porque se levantará nação contra nação, e reino, contra reino. Haverá terremotos em vários lugares e também fomes. Estas coisas são o princípio das dores. 9 Estai vós de sobreaviso, porque vos entregarão aos tribunais e às sinagogas; sereis açoitados, e vos farão comparecer à presença de governadores e reis, por minha causa, para lhes servir de testemunho. 10 Mas é necessário que primeiro o evangelho seja pregado a todas as nações. 11 Quando, pois, vos levarem e vos entregarem, não vos preocupeis com o que haveis de dizer, mas o que vos for concedido naquela hora, isso falai; porque não sois vós os que falais, mas o Espírito Santo. 12 Um irmão entregará à morte outro irmão, e o pai, ao filho; filhos haverá que se levantarão contra os progenitores e os matarão. 13 Sereis odiados de todos por causa do meu nome; aquele, porém, que perseverar até ao fim, esse será salvo. 14 Quando, pois, virdes o abominável da desolação situado onde não deve estar (quem lê entenda), então, os que estiverem na Judéia fujam para os montes; 15 quem estiver em cima, no eirado, não desça nem entre para tirar da sua casa alguma coisa; 16 e o que estiver no campo não volte atrás para buscar a sua capa. 17 Ai das que estiverem grávidas e das que amamentarem naqueles dias! 18 Orai para que isso não suceda no inverno. 19 Porque aqueles dias serão de tamanha tribulação como nunca houve desde o princípio do mundo, que Deus criou, até agora e nunca jamais haverá. 20 Não tivesse o Senhor abreviado aqueles dias, e ninguém se salvaria; mas, por causa dos eleitos que ele escolheu, abreviou tais dias. 21 Então, se alguém vos disser: Eis aqui o Cristo! Ou: Ei-lo ali! Não acrediteis; 22 pois surgirão falsos cristos e falsos profetas, operando sinais e prodígios, para enganar, se possível, os próprios eleitos. 23 Estai vós de sobreaviso; tudo vos tenho predito. 24 Mas, naqueles dias, após a referida tribulação, o sol escurecerá, a lua não dará a sua claridade, 25 as estrelas cairão do firmamento, e os poderes dos céus serão abalados. 26 Então, verão o Filho do Homem vir nas nuvens, com grande poder e glória. 27 E ele enviará os anjos e reunirá os seus escolhidos dos quatro ventos, da extremidade da terra até à extremidade do céu. 28 Aprendei, pois, a parábola da figueira: quando já os seus ramos se renovam, e as folhas brotam, sabeis que está próximo o verão. 29 Assim, também vós: quando virdes acontecer estas coisas, sabei que está próximo, às portas. 30 Em verdade vos digo que não passará esta geração sem que tudo isto aconteça. 31 Passará o céu e a terra, porém as minhas palavras não passarão. 32 Mas a respeito daquele dia ou da hora ninguém sabe; nem os anjos no céu, nem o Filho, senão o Pai. 33 Estai de sobreaviso, vigiai [e orai]; porque não sabeis quando será o tempo. 34 É como um homem que, ausentando-se do país, deixa a sua casa, dá autoridade aos seus servos, a cada um a sua obrigação, e ao porteiro ordena que vigie. 35 Vigiai, pois, porque não sabeis quando virá o dono da casa: se à tarde, se à meia-noite, se ao cantar do galo, se pela manhã; 36 para que, vindo ele inesperadamente, não vos ache dormindo. 37 O que, porém, vos digo, digo a todos: vigiai! ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  13 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! 2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? 5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations. 11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: 16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. 17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. 21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: 22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. 23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. 24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. 28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. 30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Jó 9 1 Então, Jó respondeu e disse: 2 Na verdade, sei que assim é; porque, como pode o homem ser justo para com Deus? 3 Se quiser contender com ele, nem a uma de mil coisas lhe poderá responder. 4 Ele é sábio de coração e grande em poder; quem porfiou com ele e teve paz? 5 Ele é quem remove os montes, sem que saibam que ele na sua ira os transtorna; 6 quem move a terra para fora do seu lugar, cujas colunas estremecem; 7 quem fala ao sol, e este não sai, e sela as estrelas; 8 quem sozinho estende os céus e anda sobre os altos do mar; 9 quem fez a Ursa, o Órion, o Sete-estrelo e as recâmaras do Sul; 10 quem faz grandes coisas, que se não podem esquadrinhar, e maravilhas tais, que se não podem contar. 11 Eis que ele passa por mim, e não o vejo; segue perante mim, e não o percebo. 12 Eis que arrebata a presa! Quem o pode impedir? Quem lhe dirá: Que fazes? 13 Deus não revogará a sua própria ira; debaixo dele se encurvam os auxiliadores do Egito. 14 Como, então, lhe poderei eu responder ou escolher as minhas palavras, para argumentar com ele? 15 A ele, ainda que eu fosse justo, não lhe responderia; antes, ao meu Juiz pediria misericórdia. 16 Ainda que o chamasse, e ele me respondesse, nem por isso creria eu que desse ouvidos à minha voz. 17 Porque me esmaga com uma tempestade e multiplica as minhas chagas sem causa. 18 Não me permite respirar; antes, me farta de amarguras. 19 Se se trata da força do poderoso, ele dirá: Eis-me aqui; se, de justiça: Quem me citará? 20 Ainda que eu seja justo, a minha boca me condenará; embora seja eu íntegro, ele me terá por culpado. 21 Eu sou íntegro, não levo em conta a minha alma, não faço caso da minha vida. 22 Para mim tudo é o mesmo; por isso, digo: tanto destrói ele o íntegro como o perverso. 23 Se qualquer flagelo mata subitamente, então, se rirá do desespero do inocente. 24 A terra está entregue nas mãos dos perversos; e Deus ainda cobre o rosto dos juízes dela; se não é ele o causador disso, quem é, logo? 25 Os meus dias foram mais velozes do que um corredor; fugiram e não viram a felicidade. 26 Passaram como barcos de junco; como a águia que se lança sobre a presa. 27 Se eu disser: eu me esquecerei da minha queixa, deixarei o meu ar triste e ficarei contente; 28 ainda assim todas as minhas dores me apavoram, porque bem sei que me não terás por inocente. 29 Serei condenado; por que, pois, trabalho eu em vão? 30 Ainda que me lave com água de neve e purifique as mãos com cáustico, 31 mesmo assim me submergirás no lodo, e as minhas próprias vestes me abominarão. 32 Porque ele não é homem, como eu, a quem eu responda, vindo juntamente a juízo. 33 Não há entre nós árbitro que ponha a mão sobre nós ambos. 34 Tire ele a sua vara de cima de mim, e não me amedronte o seu terror; 35 então, falarei sem o temer; do contrário, não estaria em mim. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  9 Then Job answered and said, 2 I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God? 3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand. 4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered? 5 Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger. 6 Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble. 7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. 8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. 9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. 10 Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number. 11 Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not. 12 Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou? 13 If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him. 14 How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him? 15 Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge. 16 If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice. 17 For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause. 18 He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness. 19 If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead? 20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse. 21 Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life. 22 This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked. 23 If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent. 24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he? 25 Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good. 26 They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey. 27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself: 28 I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent. 29 If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain? 30 If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean; 31 Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me. 32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment. 33 Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both. 34 Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me: 35 Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
