LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Gênesis 38 Marcos 9  Jó 5 LEITURA  6º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Gênesis 38 1 Aconteceu, por esse tempo, que Judá se apartou de seus irmãos e se hospedou na casa de um adulamita, chamado Hira. 2 Ali viu Judá a filha de um cananeu, chamado Sua; ele a tomou por mulher e a possuiu. 3 E ela concebeu e deu à luz um filho, e o pai lhe chamou Er. 4 Tornou a conceber e deu à luz um filho; a este deu a mãe o nome de Onã. 5 Continuou ainda e deu à luz outro filho, cujo nome foi Selá; ela estava em Quezibe quando o teve. 6 Judá, pois, tomou esposa para Er, o seu primogênito; o nome dela era Tamar. 7 Er, porém, o primogênito de Judá, era perverso perante o SENHOR, pelo que o SENHOR o fez morrer. 8 Então, disse Judá a Onã: Possui a mulher de teu irmão, cumpre o levirato e suscita descendência a teu irmão. 9 Sabia, porém, Onã que o filho não seria tido por seu; e todas as vezes que possuía a mulher de seu irmão deixava o sêmen cair na terra, para não dar descendência a seu irmão. 10 Isso, porém, que fazia, era mau perante o SENHOR, pelo que também a este fez morrer. 11 Então, disse Judá a Tamar, sua nora: Permanece viúva em casa de teu pai, até que Selá, meu filho, venha a ser homem. Pois disse: Para que não morra também este, como seus irmãos. Assim, Tamar se foi, passando a residir em casa de seu pai. 12 No correr do tempo morreu a filha de Sua, mulher de Judá; e, consolado Judá, subiu aos tosquiadores de suas ovelhas, em Timna, ele e seu amigo Hira, o adulamita. 13 E o comunicaram a Tamar: Eis que o teu sogro sobe a Timna, para tosquiar as ovelhas. 14 Então, ela despiu as vestes de sua viuvez, e, cobrindo-se com um véu, se disfarçou, e se assentou à entrada de Enaim, no caminho de Timna; pois via que Selá já era homem, e ela não lhe fora dada por mulher. 15 Vendo-a Judá, teve-a por meretriz; pois ela havia coberto o rosto. 16 Então, se dirigiu a ela no caminho e lhe disse: Vem, deixa-me possuir-te; porque não sabia que era a sua nora. Ela respondeu: Que me darás para coabitares comigo? 17 Ele respondeu: Enviar-te-ei um cabrito do rebanho. Perguntou ela: Dar-me-ás penhor até que o mandes? 18 Respondeu ele: Que penhor te darei? Ela disse: O teu selo, o teu cordão e o cajado que seguras. Ele, pois, lhos deu e a possuiu; e ela concebeu dele. 19 Levantou-se ela e se foi; tirou de sobre si o véu e tornou às vestes da sua viuvez. 20 Enviou Judá o cabrito, por mão do adulamita, seu amigo, para reaver o penhor da mão da mulher; porém não a encontrou. 21 Então, perguntou aos homens daquele lugar: Onde está a prostituta cultual que se achava junto ao caminho de Enaim? Responderam: Aqui não esteve meretriz nenhuma. 22 Tendo voltado a Judá, disse: Não a encontrei; e também os homens do lugar me disseram: Aqui não esteve prostituta cultual nenhuma. 23 Respondeu Judá: Que ela o guarde para si, para que não nos tornemos em opróbrio; mandei-lhe, com efeito, o cabrito, todavia, não a achaste. 24 Passados quase três meses, foi dito a Judá: Tamar, tua nora, adulterou, pois está grávida. Então, disse Judá: Tirai-a fora para que seja queimada. 25 Em tirando-a, mandou ela dizer a seu sogro: Do homem de quem são estas coisas eu concebi. E disse mais: Reconhece de quem é este selo, e este cordão, e este cajado. 26 Reconheceu-os Judá e disse: Mais justa é ela do que eu, porquanto não a dei a Selá, meu filho. E nunca mais a possuiu. 27 E aconteceu que, estando ela para dar à luz, havia gêmeos no seu ventre. 28 Ao nascerem, um pôs a mão fora, e a parteira, tomando-a, lhe atou um fio encarnado e disse: Este saiu primeiro. 29 Mas, recolhendo ele a mão, saiu o outro; e ela disse: Como rompeste saída? E lhe chamaram Perez. 30 Depois, lhe saiu o irmão, em cuja mão estava o fio encarnado; e lhe chamaram Zera. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  38 And it came to pass at that time, that Judah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamite, whose name was Hirah. 2 And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite, whose name was Shuah; and he took her, and went in unto her. 3 And she conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er. 4 And she conceived again, and bare a son; and she called his name Onan. 5 And she yet again conceived, and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bare him. 6 And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar. 7 And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord slew him. 8 And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. 10 And the thing which he did displeased the Lord: wherefore he slew him also. 11 Then said Judah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at thy father's house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father's house. 12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah's wife died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite. 13 And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep. 14 And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife. 15 When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face. 16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me? 17 And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it? 18 And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. 19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood. 20 And Judah sent the kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman's hand: but he found her not. 21 Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place. 22 And he returned to Judah, and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place. 23 And Judah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and thou hast not found her. 24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. 25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. 26 And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more. 27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. 28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. 29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez. 30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Marcos 9 1 Dizia-lhes ainda: Em verdade vos afirmo que, dos que aqui se encontram, alguns há que, de maneira nenhuma, passarão pela morte até que vejam ter chegado com poder o reino de Deus. 2 Seis dias depois, tomou Jesus consigo a Pedro, Tiago e João e levou-os sós, à parte, a um alto monte. Foi transfigurado diante deles; 3 as suas vestes tornaram-se resplandecentes e sobremodo brancas, como nenhum lavandeiro na terra as poderia alvejar. 4 Apareceu-lhes Elias com Moisés, e estavam falando com Jesus. 5 Então, Pedro, tomando a palavra, disse: Mestre, bom é estarmos aqui e que façamos três tendas: uma será tua, outra, para Moisés, e outra, para Elias. 6 Pois não sabia o que dizer, por estarem eles aterrados. 7 A seguir, veio uma nuvem que os envolveu; e dela uma voz dizia: Este é o meu Filho amado; a ele ouvi. 8 E, de relance, olhando ao redor, a ninguém mais viram com eles, senão Jesus. 9 Ao descerem do monte, ordenou-lhes Jesus que não divulgassem as coisas que tinham visto, até o dia em que o Filho do Homem ressuscitasse dentre os mortos. 10 Eles guardaram a recomendação, perguntando uns aos outros que seria o ressuscitar dentre os mortos. 11 E interrogaram-no, dizendo: Por que dizem os escribas ser necessário que Elias venha primeiro? 12 Então, ele lhes disse: Elias, vindo primeiro, restaurará todas as coisas; como, pois, está escrito sobre o Filho do Homem que sofrerá muito e será aviltado? 13 Eu, porém, vos digo que Elias já veio, e fizeram com ele tudo o que quiseram, como a seu respeito está escrito. 14 Quando eles se aproximaram dos discípulos, viram numerosa multidão ao redor e que os escribas discutiam com eles. 15 E logo toda a multidão, ao ver Jesus, tomada de surpresa, correu para ele e o saudava. 16 Então, ele interpelou os escribas: Que é que discutíeis com eles? 17 E um, dentre a multidão, respondeu: Mestre, trouxe-te o meu filho, possesso de um espírito mudo; 18 e este, onde quer que o apanha, lança-o por terra, e ele espuma, rilha os dentes e vai definhando. Roguei a teus discípulos que o expelissem, e eles não puderam. 19 Então, Jesus lhes disse: Ó geração incrédula, até quando estarei convosco? Até quando vos sofrerei? Trazei-mo. 20 E trouxeram-lho; quando ele viu a Jesus, o espírito imediatamente o agitou com violência, e, caindo ele por terra, revolvia-se espumando. 21 Perguntou Jesus ao pai do menino: Há quanto tempo isto lhe sucede? Desde a infância, respondeu; 22 e muitas vezes o tem lançado no fogo e na água, para o matar; mas, se tu podes alguma coisa, tem compaixão de nós e ajuda-nos. 23 Ao que lhe respondeu Jesus: Se podes! Tudo é possível ao que crê. 24 E imediatamente o pai do menino exclamou [com lágrimas]: Eu creio! Ajuda-me na minha falta de fé! 25 Vendo Jesus que a multidão concorria, repreendeu o espírito imundo, dizendo-lhe: Espírito mudo e surdo, eu te ordeno: Sai deste jovem e nunca mais tornes a ele. 26 E ele, clamando e agitando-o muito, saiu, deixando-o como se estivesse morto, a ponto de muitos dizerem: Morreu. 27 Mas Jesus, tomando-o pela mão, o ergueu, e ele se levantou. 28 Quando entrou em casa, os seus discípulos lhe perguntaram em particular: Por que não pudemos nós expulsá-lo? 29 Respondeu-lhes: Esta casta não pode sair senão por meio de oração [e jejum]. 30 E, tendo partido dali, passavam pela Galiléia, e não queria que ninguém o soubesse; 31 porque ensinava os seus discípulos e lhes dizia: O Filho do Homem será entregue nas mãos dos homens, e o matarão; mas, três dias depois da sua morte, ressuscitará. 32 Eles, contudo, não compreendiam isto e temiam interrogá-lo. 33 Tendo eles partido para Cafarnaum, estando ele em casa, interrogou os discípulos: De que é que discorríeis pelo caminho? 34 Mas eles guardaram silêncio; porque, pelo caminho, haviam discutido entre si sobre quem era o maior. 35 E ele, assentando-se, chamou os doze e lhes disse: Se alguém quer ser o primeiro, será o último e servo de todos. 36 Trazendo uma criança, colocou-a no meio deles e, tomando-a nos braços, disse-lhes: 37 Qualquer que receber uma criança, tal como esta, em meu nome, a mim me recebe; e qualquer que a mim me receber, não recebe a mim, mas ao que me enviou. 38 Disse-lhe João: Mestre, vimos um homem que, em teu nome, expelia demônios, o qual não nos segue; e nós lho proibimos, porque não seguia conosco. 39 Mas Jesus respondeu: Não lho proibais; porque ninguém há que faça milagre em meu nome e, logo a seguir, possa falar mal de mim. 40 Pois quem não é contra nós é por nós. 41 Porquanto, aquele que vos der de beber um copo de água, em meu nome, porque sois de Cristo, em verdade vos digo que de modo algum perderá o seu galardão. 42 E quem fizer tropeçar a um destes pequeninos crentes, melhor lhe fora que se lhe pendurasse ao pescoço uma grande pedra de moinho, e fosse lançado no mar. 43 E, se tua mão te faz tropeçar, corta-a; pois é melhor entrares maneta na vida do que, tendo as duas mãos, ires para o inferno, para o fogo inextinguível 44 [onde não lhes morre o verme, nem o fogo se apaga]. 45 E, se teu pé te faz tropeçar, corta-o; é melhor entrares na vida aleijado do que, tendo os dois pés, seres lançado no inferno 46 [onde não lhes morre o verme, nem o fogo se apaga]. 47 E, se um dos teus olhos te faz tropeçar, arranca-o; é melhor entrares no reino de Deus com um só dos teus olhos do que, tendo os dois seres lançado no inferno, 48 onde não lhes morre o verme, nem o fogo se apaga. 49 Porque cada um será salgado com fogo. 50 Bom é o sal; mas, se o sal vier a tornar-se insípido, como lhe restaurar o sabor? Tende sal em vós mesmos e paz uns com os outros. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  9 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. 2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. 3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. 4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. 5 And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. 6 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. 7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. 8 And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. 9 And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead. 10 And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean. 11 And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come? 12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. 13 But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him. 14 And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them. 15 And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him. 16 And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them? 17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; 18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. 19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. 20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. 21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. 22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. 26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. 27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. 28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? 29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. 30 And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it. 31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. 32 But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him. 33 And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way? 34 But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest. 35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. 36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, 37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me. 38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40 For he that is not against us is on our part. 41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. 42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. 50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? E para qual dos santos anjos te virarás? 2 Porque a ira do louco o destrói, e o zelo do tolo o mata. 3 Bem vi eu o louco lançar raízes; mas logo declarei maldita a sua habitação. 4 Seus filhos estão longe do socorro, são espezinhados às portas, e não há quem os livre. 5 A sua messe, o faminto a devora e até do meio dos espinhos a arrebata; e o intrigante abocanha os seus bens. 6 Porque a aflição não vem do pó, e não é da terra que brota o enfado. 7 Mas o homem nasce para o enfado, como as faíscas das brasas voam para cima. 8 Quanto a mim, eu buscaria a Deus e a ele entregaria a minha causa; 9 ele faz coisas grandes e inescrutáveis e maravilhas que não se podem contar; 10 faz chover sobre a terra e envia águas sobre os campos, 11 para pôr os abatidos num lugar alto e para que os enlutados se alegrem da maior ventura. 12 Ele frustra as maquinações dos astutos, para que as suas mãos não possam realizar seus projetos. 13 Ele apanha os sábios na sua própria astúcia; e o conselho dos que tramam se precipita. 14 Eles de dia encontram as trevas; ao meio-dia andam como de noite, às apalpadelas. 15 Porém Deus salva da espada que lhes sai da boca, salva o necessitado da mão do poderoso. 16 Assim, há esperança para o pobre, e a iniqüidade tapa a sua própria boca. 17 Bem-aventurado é o homem a quem Deus disciplina; não desprezes, pois, a disciplina do Todo-Poderoso. 18 Porque ele faz a ferida e ele mesmo a ata; ele fere, e as suas mãos curam. 19 De seis angústias te livrará, e na sétima o mal te não tocará. 20 Na fome te livrará da morte; na guerra, do poder da espada. 21 Do açoite da língua estarás abrigado e, quando vier a assolação, não a temerás. 22 Da assolação e da fome te rirás e das feras da terra não terás medo. 23 Porque até com as pedras do campo terás a tua aliança, e os animais da terra viverão em paz contigo. 24 Saberás que a paz é a tua tenda, percorrerás as tuas possessões, e nada te faltará. 25 Saberás também que se multiplicará a tua descendência, e a tua posteridade, como a erva da terra. 26 Em robusta velhice entrarás para a sepultura, como se recolhe o feixe de trigo a seu tempo. 27 Eis que isto já o havemos inquirido, e assim é; ouve-o e medita nisso para teu bem. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  5 Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn? 2 For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. 3 I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation. 4 His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. 5 Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance. 6 Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; 7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. 8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: 9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: 10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: 11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. 12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. 13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong. 14 They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night. 15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. 16 So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth. 17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: 18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. 19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. 20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. 21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. 22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. 23 For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. 24 And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. 25 Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. 26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season. 27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
