à porta da tenda da congregação o trará, para que o homem seja aceito perante o SENHOR. 4 E porá a mão sobre a cabeça do holocausto, para que seja aceito a favor dele, para a sua expiação. 5 Depois, imolará o novilho perante o SENHOR; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, apresentarão o sangue e o aspergirão ao redor sobre o altar que está diante da porta da tenda da congregação. 6 Então, ele esfolará o holocausto e o cortará em seus pedaços. 7 E os filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, porão fogo sobre o altar e porão em ordem lenha sobre o fogo. 8 Também os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, colocarão em ordem os pedaços, a saber, a cabeça e o redenho, sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar. 9 Porém as entranhas e as pernas, o sacerdote as lavará com água; e queimará tudo isso sobre o altar; é holocausto, oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao SENHOR. 10 Se a sua oferta for de gado miúdo, de carneiros ou de cabritos, para holocausto, trará macho sem defeito. 11 E o imolará ao lado do altar, para o lado norte, perante o SENHOR; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, aspergirão o seu sangue em redor sobre o altar. 12 Depois, ele o cortará em seus pedaços, como também a sua cabeça e o seu redenho; e o sacerdote os porá em ordem sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar; 13 porém as entranhas e as pernas serão lavadas com água; e o sacerdote oferecerá tudo isso e o queimará sobre o altar; é holocausto, oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao SENHOR. 14 Se a sua oferta ao SENHOR for holocausto de aves, trará a sua oferta de rolas ou de pombinhos. 15 O sacerdote a trará ao altar, e, com a unha, lhe destroncará a cabeça, sem a separar do pescoço, e a queimará sobre o altar; o seu sangue, ele o fará correr na parede do altar; 16 tirará o papo com suas penas e o lançará junto ao altar, para o lado oriental, no lugar da cinza; 17 rasgá-la-á pelas asas, porém não a partirá; o sacerdote a queimará sobre o altar, em cima da lenha que está no fogo; é holocausto, oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao SENHOR. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  1 And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock. 3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord. 4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. 5 And he shall kill the bullock before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 6 And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. 7 And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire: 8 And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: 9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord. 10 And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish. 11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar. 12 And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: 13 But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord. 14 And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the Lord be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons. 15 And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar: 16 And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes: 17 And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Levítico 2 1 Quando alguma pessoa fizer oferta de manjares ao SENHOR, a sua oferta será de flor de farinha; nela, deitará azeite e, sobre ela, porá incenso. 2 Levá-la-á aos filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, um dos quais tomará dela um punhado da flor de farinha e do seu azeite com todo o seu incenso e os queimará como porção memorial sobre o altar; é oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao SENHOR. 3 O que ficar da oferta de manjares será de Arão e de seus filhos; é coisa santíssima das ofertas queimadas ao SENHOR. 4 Quando trouxeres oferta de manjares, cozida no forno, será de bolos asmos de flor de farinha amassados com azeite e obreias asmas untadas com azeite. 5 Se a tua oferta for de manjares cozida na assadeira, será de flor de farinha sem fermento amassada com azeite. 6 Em pedaços a partirás e, sobre ela, deitarás azeite; é oferta de manjares. 7 Se a tua oferta for de manjares de frigideira, far-se-á de flor de farinha com azeite. 8 E a oferta de manjares, que daquilo se fará, trarás ao SENHOR; será apresentada ao sacerdote, o qual a levará ao altar. 9 Da oferta de manjares tomará o sacerdote a porção memorial e a queimará sobre o altar; é oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao SENHOR. 10 O que ficar da oferta de manjares será de Arão e de seus filhos; é coisa santíssima das ofertas queimadas ao SENHOR. 11 Nenhuma oferta de manjares, que fizerdes ao SENHOR, se fará com fermento; porque de nenhum fermento e de mel nenhum queimareis por oferta ao SENHOR. 12 Deles, trareis ao SENHOR por oferta das primícias; todavia, não se porão sobre o altar como aroma agradável. 13 Toda oferta dos teus manjares temperarás com sal; à tua oferta de manjares não deixarás faltar o sal da aliança do teu Deus; em todas as tuas ofertas aplicarás sal. 14 Se trouxeres ao SENHOR oferta de manjares das primícias, farás a oferta de manjares das tuas primícias de espigas verdes, tostadas ao fogo, isto é, os grãos esmagados de espigas verdes. 15 Deitarás azeite sobre ela e, por cima, lhe porás incenso; é oferta de manjares. 16 Assim, o sacerdote queimará a porção memorial dos grãos de espigas esmagados e do azeite, com todo o incenso; é oferta queimada ao SENHOR. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  2 And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon: 2 And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord: 3 And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lord made by fire. 4 And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil. 5 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil. 6 Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat offering. 7 And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. 8 And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the Lord: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar. 9 And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord. 10 And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lord made by fire. 11 No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the Lord, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the Lord made by fire. 12 As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the Lord: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour. 13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt. 14 And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the Lord, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears. 15 And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meat offering. 16 And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  João 21 1 Depois disto, tornou Jesus a manifestar-se aos discípulos junto do mar de Tiberíades; e foi assim que ele se manifestou: 2 estavam juntos Simão Pedro, Tomé, chamado Dídimo, Natanael, que era de Caná da Galiléia, os filhos de Zebedeu e mais dois dos seus discípulos. 3 Disse-lhes Simão Pedro: Vou pescar. Disseram-lhe os outros: Também nós vamos contigo. Saíram, e entraram no barco, e, naquela noite, nada apanharam. 4 Mas, ao clarear da madrugada, estava Jesus na praia; todavia, os discípulos não reconheceram que era ele. 5 Perguntou-lhes Jesus: Filhos, tendes aí alguma coisa de comer? Responderam-lhe: Não. 6 Então, lhes disse: Lançai a rede à direita do barco e achareis. Assim fizeram e já não podiam puxar a rede, tão grande era a quantidade de peixes. 7 Aquele discípulo a quem Jesus amava disse a Pedro: É o Senhor! Simão Pedro, ouvindo que era o Senhor, cingiu-se com sua veste, porque se havia despido, e lançou-se ao mar; 8 mas os outros discípulos vieram no barquinho puxando a rede com os peixes; porque não estavam distantes da terra senão quase duzentos côvados. 9 Ao saltarem em terra, viram ali umas brasas e, em cima, peixes; e havia também pão. 10 Disse-lhes Jesus: Trazei alguns dos peixes que acabastes de apanhar. 11 Simão Pedro entrou no barco e arrastou a rede para a terra, cheia de cento e cinqüenta e três grandes peixes; e, não obstante serem tantos, a rede não se rompeu. 12 Disse-lhes Jesus: Vinde, comei. Nenhum dos discípulos ousava perguntar-lhe: Quem és tu? Porque sabiam que era o Senhor. 13 Veio Jesus, tomou o pão, e lhes deu, e, de igual modo, o peixe. 14 E já era esta a terceira vez que Jesus se manifestava aos discípulos, depois de ressuscitado dentre os mortos. 15 Depois de terem comido, perguntou Jesus a Simão Pedro: Simão, filho de João, amas-me mais do que estes outros? Ele respondeu: Sim, Senhor, tu sabes que te amo. Ele lhe disse: Apascenta os meus cordeiros. 16 Tornou a perguntar-lhe pela segunda vez: Simão, filho de João, tu me amas? Ele lhe respondeu: Sim, Senhor, tu sabes que te amo. Disse-lhe Jesus: Pastoreia as minhas ovelhas. 17 Pela terceira vez Jesus lhe perguntou: Simão, filho de João, tu me amas? Pedro entristeceu-se por ele lhe ter dito, pela terceira vez: Tu me amas? E respondeu-lhe: Senhor, tu sabes todas as coisas, tu sabes que eu te amo. Jesus lhe disse: Apascenta as minhas ovelhas. 18 Em verdade, em verdade te digo que, quando eras mais moço, tu te cingias a ti mesmo e andavas por onde querias; quando, porém, fores velho, estenderás as mãos, e outro te cingirá e te levará para onde não queres. 19 Disse isto para significar com que gênero de morte Pedro havia de glorificar a Deus. Depois de assim falar, acrescentou-lhe: Segue-me. 20 Então, Pedro, voltando-se, viu que também o ia seguindo o discípulo a quem Jesus amava, o qual na ceia se reclinara sobre o peito de Jesus e perguntara: Senhor, quem é o traidor? 21 Vendo-o, pois, Pedro perguntou a Jesus: E quanto a este? 22 Respondeu-lhe Jesus: Se eu quero que ele permaneça até que eu venha, que te importa? Quanto a ti, segue-me. 23 Então, se tornou corrente entre os irmãos o dito de que aquele discípulo não morreria. Ora, Jesus não dissera que tal discípulo não morreria, mas: Se eu quero que ele permaneça até que eu venha, que te importa? 24 Este é o discípulo que dá testemunho a respeito destas coisas e que as escreveu; e sabemos que o seu testemunho é verdadeiro. 25 Há, porém, ainda muitas outras coisas que Jesus fez. Se todas elas fossem relatadas uma por uma, creio eu que nem no mundo inteiro caberiam os livros que seriam escritos. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  21 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. 2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. 3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. 4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. 9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. 10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. 14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. 19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. 20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? 21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. 23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? 24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. 25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Provérbios 18 1 O solitário busca o seu próprio interesse e insurge-se contra a verdadeira sabedoria. 2 O insensato não tem prazer no entendimento, senão em externar o seu interior. 3 Vindo a perversidade, vem também o desprezo; e, com a ignomínia, a vergonha. 4 Águas profundas são as palavras da boca do homem, e a fonte da sabedoria, ribeiros transbordantes. 5 Não é bom ser parcial com o perverso, para torcer o direito contra os justos. 6 Os lábios do insensato entram na contenda, e por açoites brada a sua boca. 7 A boca do insensato é a sua própria destruição, e os seus lábios, um laço para a sua alma. 8 As palavras do maldizente são doces bocados que descem para o mais interior do ventre. 9 Quem é negligente na sua obra já é irmão do desperdiçador. 10 Torre forte é o nome do SENHOR, à qual o justo se acolhe e está seguro. 11 Os bens do rico lhe são cidade forte e, segundo imagina, uma alta muralha. 12 Antes da ruína, gaba-se o coração do homem, e diante da honra vai a humildade. 13 Responder antes de ouvir é estultícia e vergonha. 14 O espírito firme sustém o homem na sua doença, mas o espírito abatido, quem o pode suportar? 15 O coração do sábio adquire o conhecimento, e o ouvido dos sábios procura o saber. 16 O presente que o homem faz alarga-lhe o caminho e leva-o perante os grandes. 17 O que começa o pleito parece justo, até que vem o outro e o examina. 18 Pelo lançar da sorte, cessam os pleitos, e se decide a causa entre os poderosos. 19 O irmão ofendido resiste mais que uma fortaleza; suas contendas são ferrolhos de um castelo. 20 Do fruto da boca o coração se farta, do que produzem os lábios se satisfaz. 21 A morte e a vida estão no poder da língua; o que bem a utiliza come do seu fruto. 22 O que acha uma esposa acha o bem e alcançou a benevolência do SENHOR. 23 O pobre fala com súplicas, porém o rico responde com durezas. 24 O homem que tem muitos amigos sai perdendo; mas há amigo mais chegado do que um irmão. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  18 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. 2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. 3 When the wicked cometh, then cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach. 4 The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. 5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment. 6 A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes. 7 A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. 8 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. 9 He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster. 10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. 11 The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit. 12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility. 13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. 14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear? 15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge. 16 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. 17 He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him. 18 The lot causeth contentions to cease, and parteth between the mighty. 19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle. 20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. 22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord. 23 The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly. 24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
