de cinco côvados era o comprimento, e de cinco, a largura (era quadrado o altar), e de três côvados, a altura. 2 Dos quatro cantos fez levantar-se quatro chifres, os quais formavam uma só peça com o altar; e o cobriu de bronze. 3 Fez também todos os utensílios do altar: recipientes para recolher as suas cinzas, e pás, e bacias, e garfos, e braseiros; todos esses utensílios, de bronze os fez. 4 Fez também para o altar uma grelha de bronze em forma de rede, do rebordo do altar para baixo, a qual chegava até ao meio do altar. 5 Fundiu quatro argolas para os quatro cantos da grelha de bronze, para nelas se meterem os varais. 6 Fez os varais de madeira de acácia e os cobriu de bronze. 7 Meteu os varais nas argolas, de um e de outro lado do altar, para ser levado; oco e de tábuas o fez. 8 Fez também a bacia de bronze, com o seu suporte de bronze, dos espelhos das mulheres que se reuniam para ministrar à porta da tenda da congregação. 9 Fez também o átrio ao lado meridional (que dá para o sul); as cortinas do átrio eram de linho fino retorcido, de cem côvados de comprimento. 10 As suas vinte colunas e as suas bases eram de bronze; os ganchos das colunas e as suas vergas eram de prata. 11 De igual modo para o lado norte havia cortinas de cem côvados de comprimento; as suas vinte colunas e as suas vinte bases eram de bronze; os ganchos das colunas e as suas vergas eram de prata. 12 Para o lado do ocidente havia cortinas de cinqüenta côvados; as suas colunas eram dez, e as suas bases, dez; os ganchos das colunas e as suas vergas eram de prata. 13 Do lado oriental (para o levante), eram as cortinas de cinqüenta côvados. 14 As cortinas para um lado da entrada eram de quinze côvados; e as suas colunas eram três, e as suas bases, três. 15 Para o outro lado da entrada do átrio, de um e de outro lado da entrada, eram as cortinas de quinze côvados; as suas colunas eram três, e as suas bases, três. 16 Todas as cortinas ao redor do átrio eram de linho fino retorcido. 17 As bases das colunas eram de bronze; os ganchos das colunas e as suas vergas eram de prata. 18 O reposteiro da porta do átrio era de obra de bordador, de estofo azul, púrpura, carmesim e linho fino retorcido; o comprimento era de vinte côvados, e a altura, na largura, era de cinco côvados, segundo a medida das cortinas do átrio. 19 As suas quatro colunas e as suas quatro bases eram de bronze, os seus ganchos eram de prata, e o revestimento das suas cabeças e as suas vergas, de prata. 20 Todos os pregos do tabernáculo e do átrio ao redor eram de bronze. 21 Esta é a enumeração das coisas para o tabernáculo, a saber, o tabernáculo do Testemunho, segundo, por ordem de Moisés, foram contadas para o serviço dos levitas, por intermédio de Itamar, filho do sacerdote Arão. 22 Fez Bezalel, filho de Uri, filho de Hur, da tribo de Judá, tudo quanto o SENHOR ordenara a Moisés. 23 E, com ele, Aoliabe, filho de Aisamaque, da tribo de Dã, mestre de obra, desenhista e bordador em estofo azul, púrpura, carmesim e linho fino. 24 Todo o ouro empregado na obra, em toda a obra do santuário, a saber, o ouro da oferta, foram vinte e nove talentos e setecentos e trinta siclos, segundo o siclo do santuário. 25 A prata dos arrolados da congregação foram cem talentos e mil e setecentos e setenta e cinco siclos, segundo o siclo do santuário: 26 um beca por cabeça, isto é, meio siclo, segundo o siclo do santuário, de qualquer dos arrolados, de vinte anos para cima, que foram seiscentos e três mil quinhentos e cinqüenta. 27 Empregaram-se cem talentos de prata para fundir as bases do santuário e as bases do véu; para as cem bases, cem talentos: um talento para cada base. 28 Dos mil setecentos e setenta e cinco siclos, fez os colchetes das colunas, e cobriu as suas cabeças, e lhes fez as vergas. 29 O bronze da oferta foram setenta talentos e dois mil e quatrocentos siclos. 30 Dele fez as bases da porta da tenda da congregação, e o altar de bronze, e a sua grelha de bronze, e todos os utensílios do altar, 31 e as bases do átrio ao redor, e as bases da porta do átrio, e todas as estacas do tabernáculo, e todas as estacas do átrio ao redor. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  38 And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof. 2 And he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass. 3 And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass. 4 And he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it. 5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the staves. 6 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass. 7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards. 8 And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 9 And he made the court: on the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, an hundred cubits: 10 Their pillars were twenty, and their brasen sockets twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver. 11 And for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver. 12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver. 13 And for the east side eastward fifty cubits. 14 The hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three. 15 And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three. 16 All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen. 17 And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver. 18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court. 19 And their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their chapiters and their fillets of silver. 20 And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass. 21 This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest. 22 And Bezaleel the son Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the Lord commanded Moses. 23 And with him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen. 24 All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary. 25 And the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary: 26 A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men. 27 And of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the vail; an hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a socket. 28 And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their chapiters, and filleted them. 29 And the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels. 30 And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar, 31 And the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  João 18 1 Tendo Jesus dito estas palavras, saiu juntamente com seus discípulos para o outro lado do ribeiro Cedrom, onde havia um jardim; e aí entrou com eles. 2 E Judas, o traidor, também conhecia aquele lugar, porque Jesus ali estivera muitas vezes com seus discípulos. 3 Tendo, pois, Judas recebido a escolta e, dos principais sacerdotes e dos fariseus, alguns guardas, chegou a este lugar com lanternas, tochas e armas. 4 Sabendo, pois, Jesus todas as coisas que sobre ele haviam de vir, adiantou-se e perguntou-lhes: A quem buscais? 5 Responderam-lhe: A Jesus, o Nazareno. Então, Jesus lhes disse: Sou eu. Ora, Judas, o traidor, estava também com eles. 6 Quando, pois, Jesus lhes disse: Sou eu, recuaram e caíram por terra. 7 Jesus, de novo, lhes perguntou: A quem buscais? Responderam: A Jesus, o Nazareno. 8 Então, lhes disse Jesus: Já vos declarei que sou eu; se é a mim, pois, que buscais, deixai ir estes; 9 para se cumprir a palavra que dissera: Não perdi nenhum dos que me deste. 10 Então, Simão Pedro puxou da espada que trazia e feriu o servo do sumo sacerdote, cortando-lhe a orelha direita; e o nome do servo era Malco. 11 Mas Jesus disse a Pedro: Mete a espada na bainha; não beberei, porventura, o cálice que o Pai me deu? 12 Assim, a escolta, o comandante e os guardas dos judeus prenderam Jesus, manietaram-no 13 e o conduziram primeiramente a Anás; pois era sogro de Caifás, sumo sacerdote naquele ano. 14 Ora, Caifás era quem havia declarado aos judeus ser conveniente morrer um homem pelo povo. 15 Simão Pedro e outro discípulo seguiam a Jesus. Sendo este discípulo conhecido do sumo sacerdote, entrou para o pátio deste com Jesus. 16 Pedro, porém, ficou de fora, junto à porta. Saindo, pois, o outro discípulo, que era conhecido do sumo sacerdote, falou com a encarregada da porta e levou a Pedro para dentro. 17 Então, a criada, encarregada da porta, perguntou a Pedro: Não és tu também um dos discípulos deste homem? Não sou, respondeu ele. 18 Ora, os servos e os guardas estavam ali, tendo acendido um braseiro, por causa do frio, e aquentavam-se. Pedro estava no meio deles, aquentando-se também. 19 Então, o sumo sacerdote interrogou a Jesus acerca dos seus discípulos e da sua doutrina. 20 Declarou-lhe Jesus: Eu tenho falado francamente ao mundo; ensinei continuamente tanto nas sinagogas como no templo, onde todos os judeus se reúnem, e nada disse em oculto. 21 Por que me interrogas? Pergunta aos que ouviram o que lhes falei; bem sabem eles o que eu disse. 22 Dizendo ele isto, um dos guardas que ali estavam deu uma bofetada em Jesus, dizendo: É assim que falas ao sumo sacerdote? 23 Replicou-lhe Jesus: Se falei mal, dá testemunho do mal; mas, se falei bem, por que me feres? 24 Então, Anás o enviou, manietado, à presença de Caifás, o sumo sacerdote. 25 Lá estava Simão Pedro, aquentando-se. Perguntaram-lhe, pois: És tu, porventura, um dos discípulos dele? Ele negou e disse: Não sou. 26 Um dos servos do sumo sacerdote, parente daquele a quem Pedro tinha decepado a orelha, perguntou: Não te vi eu no jardim com ele? 27 De novo, Pedro o negou, e, no mesmo instante, cantou o galo. 28 Depois, levaram Jesus da casa de Caifás para o pretório. Era cedo de manhã. Eles não entraram no pretório para não se contaminarem, mas poderem comer a Páscoa. 29 Então, Pilatos saiu para lhes falar e lhes disse: Que acusação trazeis contra este homem? 30 Responderam-lhe: Se este não fosse malfeitor, não to entregaríamos. 31 Replicou-lhes, pois, Pilatos: Tomai-o vós outros e julgai-o segundo a vossa lei. Responderam-lhe os judeus: A nós não nos é lícito matar ninguém; 32 para que se cumprisse a palavra de Jesus, significando o modo por que havia de morrer. 33 Tornou Pilatos a entrar no pretório, chamou Jesus e perguntou-lhe: És tu o rei dos judeus? 34 Respondeu Jesus: Vem de ti mesmo esta pergunta ou to disseram outros a meu respeito? 35 Replicou Pilatos: Porventura, sou judeu? A tua própria gente e os principais sacerdotes é que te entregaram a mim. Que fizeste? 36 Respondeu Jesus: O meu reino não é deste mundo. Se o meu reino fosse deste mundo, os meus ministros se empenhariam por mim, para que não fosse eu entregue aos judeus; mas agora o meu reino não é daqui. 37 Então, lhe disse Pilatos: Logo, tu és rei? Respondeu Jesus: Tu dizes que sou rei. Eu para isso nasci e para isso vim ao mundo, a fim de dar testemunho da verdade. Todo aquele que é da verdade ouve a minha voz. 38 Perguntou-lhe Pilatos: Que é a verdade? Tendo dito isto, voltou aos judeus e lhes disse: Eu não acho nele crime algum. 39 É costume entre vós que eu vos solte alguém por ocasião da Páscoa; quereis, pois, que vos solte o rei dos judeus? 40 Então, gritaram todos, novamente: Não este, mas Barrabás! Ora, Barrabás era salteador. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  18 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. 2 And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples. 3 Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. 4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? 5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. 6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. 7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. 8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: 9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. 10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. 11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? 12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him, 13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. 14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. 15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. 16 But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. 17 Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not. 18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself. 19 The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. 20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. 21 Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. 22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? 23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me? 24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest. 25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not. 26 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him? 27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew. 28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover. 29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? 30 They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee. 31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: 32 That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die. 33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? 35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? 36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. 39 But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews? 40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Provérbios 15 1 A resposta branda desvia o furor, mas a palavra dura suscita a ira. 2 A língua dos sábios adorna o conhecimento, mas a boca dos insensatos derrama a estultícia. 3 Os olhos do SENHOR estão em todo lugar, contemplando os maus e os bons. 4 A língua serena é árvore de vida, mas a perversa quebranta o espírito. 5 O insensato despreza a instrução de seu pai, mas o que atende à repreensão consegue a prudência. 6 Na casa do justo há grande tesouro, mas na renda dos perversos há perturbação. 7 A língua dos sábios derrama o conhecimento, mas o coração dos insensatos não procede assim. 8 O sacrifício dos perversos é abominável ao SENHOR, mas a oração dos retos é o seu contentamento. 9 O caminho do perverso é abominação ao SENHOR, mas este ama o que segue a justiça. 10 Disciplina rigorosa há para o que deixa a vereda, e o que odeia a repreensão morrerá. 11 O além e o abismo estão descobertos perante o SENHOR; quanto mais o coração dos filhos dos homens! 12 O escarnecedor não ama àquele que o repreende, nem se chegará para os sábios. 13 O coração alegre aformoseia o rosto, mas com a tristeza do coração o espírito se abate. 14 O coração sábio procura o conhecimento, mas a boca dos insensatos se apascenta de estultícia. 15 Todos os dias do aflito são maus, mas a alegria do coração é banquete contínuo. 16 Melhor é o pouco, havendo o temor do SENHOR, do que grande tesouro onde há inquietação. 17 Melhor é um prato de hortaliças onde há amor do que o boi cevado e, com ele, o ódio. 18 O homem iracundo suscita contendas, mas o longânimo apazigua a luta. 19 O caminho do preguiçoso é como que cercado de espinhos, mas a vereda dos retos é plana. 20 O filho sábio alegra a seu pai, mas o homem insensato despreza a sua mãe. 21 A estultícia é alegria para o que carece de entendimento, mas o homem sábio anda retamente. 22 Onde não há conselho fracassam os projetos, mas com os muitos conselheiros há bom êxito. 23 O homem se alegra em dar resposta adequada, e a palavra, a seu tempo, quão boa é! 24 Para o sábio há o caminho da vida que o leva para cima, a fim de evitar o inferno, embaixo. 25 O SENHOR deita por terra a casa dos soberbos; contudo, mantém a herança da viúva. 26 Abomináveis são para o SENHOR os desígnios do mau, mas as palavras bondosas lhe são aprazíveis. 27 O que é ávido por lucro desonesto transtorna a sua casa, mas o que odeia o suborno, esse viverá. 28 O coração do justo medita o que há de responder, mas a boca dos perversos transborda maldades. 29 O SENHOR está longe dos perversos, mas atende à oração dos justos. 30 O olhar de amigo alegra ao coração; as boas-novas fortalecem até os ossos. 31 Os ouvidos que atendem à repreensão salutar no meio dos sábios têm a sua morada. 32 O que rejeita a disciplina menospreza a sua alma, porém o que atende à repreensão adquire entendimento. 33 O temor do SENHOR é a instrução da sabedoria, e a humildade precede a honra. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  15 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. 3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. 4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. 5 A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. 6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble. 7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so. 8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. 9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. 10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. 11 Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? 12 A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise. 13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. 14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness. 15 All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. 16 Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith. 17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. 18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife. 19 The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain. 20 A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother. 21 Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly. 22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. 23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! 24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. 25 The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow. 26 The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. 27 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live. 28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. 29 The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. 30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat. 31 The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. 32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. 33 The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
