LEITURA Bíblia Sagrada Versão - João Ferreira de Almeida - 2ª edição PT-BR King James Version      Êxodo 33 João 13  Provérbios 10 LEITURA  23º DIA  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Êxodo 33 1 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Vai, sobe daqui, tu e o povo que tiraste da terra do Egito, para a terra a respeito da qual jurei a Abraão, a Isaque e a Jacó, dizendo: à tua descendência a darei. 2 Enviarei o Anjo adiante de ti; lançarei fora os cananeus, os amorreus, os heteus, os ferezeus, os heveus e os jebuseus. 3 Sobe para uma terra que mana leite e mel; eu não subirei no meio de ti, porque és povo de dura cerviz, para que te não consuma eu no caminho. 4 Ouvindo o povo estas más notícias, pôs-se a prantear, e nenhum deles vestiu seus atavios. 5 Porquanto o SENHOR tinha dito a Moisés: Dize aos filhos de Israel: És povo de dura cerviz; se por um momento eu subir no meio de ti, te consumirei; tira, pois, de ti os atavios, para que eu saiba o que te hei de fazer. 6 Então, os filhos de Israel tiraram de si os seus atavios desde o monte Horebe em diante. 7 Ora, Moisés costumava tomar a tenda e armá-la para si, fora, bem longe do arraial; e lhe chamava a tenda da congregação. Todo aquele que buscava ao SENHOR saía à tenda da congregação, que estava fora do arraial. 8 Quando Moisés saía para a tenda, fora, todo o povo se erguia, cada um em pé à porta da sua tenda, e olhavam pelas costas, até entrar ele na tenda. 9 Uma vez dentro Moisés da tenda, descia a coluna de nuvem e punha-se à porta da tenda; e o SENHOR falava com Moisés. 10 Todo o povo via a coluna de nuvem que se detinha à porta da tenda; todo o povo se levantava, e cada um, à porta da sua tenda, adorava ao SENHOR. 11 Falava o SENHOR a Moisés face a face, como qualquer fala a seu amigo; então, voltava Moisés para o arraial, porém o moço Josué, seu servidor, filho de Num, não se apartava da tenda. 12 Disse Moisés ao SENHOR: Tu me dizes: Faze subir este povo, porém não me deste saber a quem hás de enviar comigo; contudo, disseste: Conheço-te pelo teu nome; também achaste graça aos meus olhos. 13 Agora, pois, se achei graça aos teus olhos, rogo-te que me faças saber neste momento o teu caminho, para que eu te conheça e ache graça aos teus olhos; e considera que esta nação é teu povo. 14 Respondeu-lhe: A minha presença irá contigo, e eu te darei descanso. 15 Então, lhe disse Moisés: Se a tua presença não vai comigo, não nos faças subir deste lugar. 16 Pois como se há de saber que achamos graça aos teus olhos, eu e o teu povo? Não é, porventura, em andares conosco, de maneira que somos separados, eu e o teu povo, de todos os povos da terra? 17 Disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Farei também isto que disseste; porque achaste graça aos meus olhos, e eu te conheço pelo teu nome. 18 Então, ele disse: Rogo-te que me mostres a tua glória. 19 Respondeu-lhe: Farei passar toda a minha bondade diante de ti e te proclamarei o nome do SENHOR; terei misericórdia de quem eu tiver misericórdia e me compadecerei de quem eu me compadecer. 20 E acrescentou: Não me poderás ver a face, porquanto homem nenhum verá a minha face e viverá. 21 Disse mais o SENHOR: Eis aqui um lugar junto a mim; e tu estarás sobre a penha. 22 Quando passar a minha glória, eu te porei numa fenda da penha e com a mão te cobrirei, até que eu tenha passado. 23 Depois, em tirando eu a mão, tu me verás pelas costas; mas a minha face não se verá. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it: 2 And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: 3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way. 4 And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments. 5 For the Lord had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. 6 And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb. 7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp. 8 And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle. 9 And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. 10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. 11 And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. 12 And Moses said unto the Lord, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. 13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. 14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. 16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. 17 And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. 18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21 And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  João 13 1 Ora, antes da Festa da Páscoa, sabendo Jesus que era chegada a sua hora de passar deste mundo para o Pai, tendo amado os seus que estavam no mundo, amou-os até ao fim. 2 Durante a ceia, tendo já o diabo posto no coração de Judas Iscariotes, filho de Simão, que traísse a Jesus, 3 sabendo este que o Pai tudo confiara às suas mãos, e que ele viera de Deus, e voltava para Deus, 4 levantou-se da ceia, tirou a vestimenta de cima e, tomando uma toalha, cingiu-se com ela. 5 Depois, deitou água na bacia e passou a lavar os pés aos discípulos e a enxugar-lhos com a toalha com que estava cingido. 6 Aproximou-se, pois, de Simão Pedro, e este lhe disse: Senhor, tu me lavas os pés a mim? 7 Respondeu-lhe Jesus: O que eu faço não o sabes agora; compreendê-lo-ás depois. 8 Disse-lhe Pedro: Nunca me lavarás os pés. Respondeu-lhe Jesus: Se eu não te lavar, não tens parte comigo. 9 Então, Pedro lhe pediu: Senhor, não somente os pés, mas também as mãos e a cabeça. 10 Declarou-lhe Jesus: Quem já se banhou não necessita de lavar senão os pés; quanto ao mais, está todo limpo. Ora, vós estais limpos, mas não todos. 11 Pois ele sabia quem era o traidor. Foi por isso que disse: Nem todos estais limpos. 12 Depois de lhes ter lavado os pés, tomou as vestes e, voltando à mesa, perguntou-lhes: Compreendeis o que vos fiz? 13 Vós me chamais o Mestre e o Senhor e dizeis bem; porque eu o sou. 14 Ora, se eu, sendo o Senhor e o Mestre, vos lavei os pés, também vós deveis lavar os pés uns dos outros. 15 Porque eu vos dei o exemplo, para que, como eu vos fiz, façais vós também. 16 Em verdade, em verdade vos digo que o servo não é maior do que seu senhor, nem o enviado, maior do que aquele que o enviou. 17 Ora, se sabeis estas coisas, bem-aventurados sois se as praticardes. 18 Não falo a respeito de todos vós, pois eu conheço aqueles que escolhi; é, antes, para que se cumpra a Escritura: Aquele que come do meu pão levantou contra mim seu calcanhar. 19 Desde já vos digo, antes que aconteça, para que, quando acontecer, creiais que EU SOU. 20 Em verdade, em verdade vos digo: quem recebe aquele que eu enviar, a mim me recebe; e quem me recebe recebe aquele que me enviou. 21 Ditas estas coisas, angustiou-se Jesus em espírito e afirmou: Em verdade, em verdade vos digo que um dentre vós me trairá. 22 Então, os discípulos olharam uns para os outros, sem saber a quem ele se referia. 23 Ora, ali estava conchegado a Jesus um dos seus discípulos, aquele a quem ele amava; 24 a esse fez Simão Pedro sinal, dizendo-lhe: Pergunta a quem ele se refere. 25 Então, aquele discípulo, reclinando-se sobre o peito de Jesus, perguntou-lhe: Senhor, quem é? 26 Respondeu Jesus: É aquele a quem eu der o pedaço de pão molhado. Tomou, pois, um pedaço de pão e, tendo-o molhado, deu-o a Judas, filho de Simão Iscariotes. 27 E, após o bocado, imediatamente, entrou nele Satanás. Então, disse Jesus: O que pretendes fazer, faze-o depressa. 28 Nenhum, porém, dos que estavam à mesa percebeu a que fim lhe dissera isto. 29 Pois, como Judas era quem trazia a bolsa, pensaram alguns que Jesus lhe dissera: Compra o que precisamos para a festa ou lhe ordenara que desse alguma coisa aos pobres. 30 Ele, tendo recebido o bocado, saiu logo. E era noite. 31 Quando ele saiu, disse Jesus: Agora, foi glorificado o Filho do Homem, e Deus foi glorificado nele; 32 se Deus foi glorificado nele, também Deus o glorificará nele mesmo; e glorificá-lo-á imediatamente. 33 Filhinhos, ainda por um pouco estou convosco; buscar-me-eis, e o que eu disse aos judeus também agora vos digo a vós outros: para onde eu vou, vós não podeis ir. 34 Novo mandamento vos dou: que vos ameis uns aos outros; assim como eu vos amei, que também vos ameis uns aos outros. 35 Nisto conhecerão todos que sois meus discípulos: se tiverdes amor uns aos outros. 36 Perguntou-lhe Simão Pedro: Senhor, para onde vais? Respondeu Jesus: Para onde vou, não me podes seguir agora; mais tarde, porém, me seguirás. 37 Replicou Pedro: Senhor, por que não posso seguir-te agora? Por ti darei a própria vida. 38 Respondeu Jesus: Darás a vida por mim? Em verdade, em verdade te digo que jamais cantará o galo antes que me negues três vezes. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  13 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him; 3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; 4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. 5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. 11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. 12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. 18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. 19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. 22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. 23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. 24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. 25 He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? 26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. 27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. 28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him. 29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor. 30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night. 31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. 32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him. 33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. 36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. 37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. 38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  Provérbios 10 1 O filho sábio alegra a seu pai, mas o filho insensato é a tristeza de sua mãe. 2 Os tesouros da impiedade de nada aproveitam, mas a justiça livra da morte. 3 O SENHOR não deixa ter fome o justo, mas rechaça a avidez dos perversos. 4 O que trabalha com mão remissa empobrece, mas a mão dos diligentes vem a enriquecer-se. 5 O que ajunta no verão é filho sábio, mas o que dorme na sega é filho que envergonha. 6 Sobre a cabeça do justo há bênçãos, mas na boca dos perversos mora a violência. 7 A memória do justo é abençoada, mas o nome dos perversos cai em podridão. 8 O sábio de coração aceita os mandamentos, mas o insensato de lábios vem a arruinar-se. 9 Quem anda em integridade anda seguro, mas o que perverte os seus caminhos será conhecido. 10 O que acena com os olhos traz desgosto, e o insensato de lábios vem a arruinar-se. 11 A boca do justo é manancial de vida, mas na boca dos perversos mora a violência. 12 O ódio excita contendas, mas o amor cobre todas as transgressões. 13 Nos lábios do prudente, se acha sabedoria, mas a vara é para as costas do falto de senso. 14 Os sábios entesouram o conhecimento, mas a boca do néscio é uma ruína iminente. 15 Os bens do rico são a sua cidade forte; a pobreza dos pobres é a sua ruína. 16 A obra do justo conduz à vida, e o rendimento do perverso, ao pecado. 17 O caminho para a vida é de quem guarda o ensino, mas o que abandona a repreensão anda errado. 18 O que retém o ódio é de lábios falsos, e o que difama é insensato. 19 No muito falar não falta transgressão, mas o que modera os lábios é prudente. 20 Prata escolhida é a língua do justo, mas o coração dos perversos vale mui pouco. 21 Os lábios do justo apascentam a muitos, mas, por falta de senso, morrem os tolos. 22 A bênção do SENHOR enriquece, e, com ela, ele não traz desgosto. 23 Para o insensato, praticar a maldade é divertimento; para o homem inteligente, o ser sábio. 24 Aquilo que teme o perverso, isso lhe sobrevém, mas o anelo dos justos Deus o cumpre. 25 Como passa a tempestade, assim desaparece o perverso, mas o justo tem perpétuo fundamento. 26 Como vinagre para os dentes e fumaça para os olhos, assim é o preguiçoso para aqueles que o mandam. 27 O temor do SENHOR prolonga os dias da vida, mas os anos dos perversos serão abreviados. 28 A esperança dos justos é alegria, mas a expectação dos perversos perecerá. 29 O caminho do SENHOR é fortaleza para os íntegros, mas ruína aos que praticam a iniqüidade. 30 O justo jamais será abalado, mas os perversos não habitarão a terra. 31 A boca do justo produz sabedoria, mas a língua da perversidade será desarraigada. 32 Os lábios do justo sabem o que agrada, mas a boca dos perversos, somente o mal. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦  10 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. 2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. 3 The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. 4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. 5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. 6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. 7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. 8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. 9 He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. 10 He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall. 11 The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. 12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. 13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. 14 Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. 15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty. 16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. 17 He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. 18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. 19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise. 20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth. 21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom. 22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. 23 It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom. 24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. 25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. 26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him. 27 The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. 28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. 29 The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. 30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. 31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out. 32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. ..... ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦ ◦
